Great. Eddie stopped by when he said he would and explained the possible situation to me and quoted me a price on the leak. We had him return again to quote us a price on repairing cracks in the stucco in multiple places too. In total, the quote was for $550, but he ended up reducing it by $100 b/c it was easier to patch that he originally thought it would be. He also said that he would warranty it as long as the leak was in the same spot. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process.
Description of Work: Eddie repaired many cracks in our stucco and painted over it and he also stopped a leak that was in our chimney due to rain. The way the rain falls wore away at the stucco and got to the papering around the window which resulted in the sunshine wearing the paper away.

I contacted Eddie after reading his reviews on Angie's list. He was professional on the phone, arrived on time for the project estimate and arrived on time to complete the work. Professional in his demeanor, work habits and completed the work to our satisfaction. Would definitely use him again in the future and the price was very reasonable.

I took three quotes for the block wall. Eddie was very professional about understanding the scope of work. It was a little bit confusing because part of the perimeter of the property already had a block wall. Eddie helped establish the precise scope of work and his quote was better than the others not just because it was cheaper but also because he coordinated several other issues in executing the work the way I wanted it. These issues, although not major were important to me. They involved drainage, sizing the wall to code, making some minor fortification to the existing wall, purchasing a small amount of block I had left over from another job, slightly adjusting the property line, and doing a small part of the same wall for the next door neighbor. Eddie handled everything and cleaned up everything. Not every contractor would do all that and not somehow forget something. The price was very reasonable and the job was done in a few days.
Description of Work: Installed a block wall along rear and side property line.

This is the third time that I have contracted Eddie on projects and will continue to use his services as he and his crew are punctual, professional and detail oriented. All projects that he has completed for me are just as specified in the plans and direction that I gave at the beginning of the project and the timeframe of work was as promised. Eddie provides no-hassle services. He delivers what he promises at a fair price.
Description of Work: I contracted Eddie and his crew to build a 48 foot long by 6 feet tall concrete block wall. The crew measured the project, delivered the supplies and constructed the wall. All within the timeframe promised.

I gave Eddie a call, he met me the next day and he started the following day after that. He finished the work in just a couple of days just as he said and the finished stucco looked very nice.
Description of Work: Eddie and his crew finished off some areas of a house that had synthetic stucco. Matching synthetic stucco is not easy to do, but they did an excellent job and I was very please with the outcome. I will definitely use Eddie again!!!

Overall, it went great. He did a thorough job on the most difficult wall by taking it down the studs, installing new medal flashing and putting a nice stucco finish to complete. He has a cheery disposition went I genuinely appreciated.

Very pleased with the work and overall job! Another handyman quoted my $700 for the same job that Eddie did for $250. He was able to do the work on the following Saturday after I called him. His first attempt was not completely satisfactory in that the cinderblock cap (top block on column) was clearly not level. I asked him to repair it, and he was happy to remove it and install a new one (which looks much better). He then stuccoed the column and painted it, as we had discussed. I am a very demanding customer for home improvement projects, and Eddie met all my expectations. I can endorse Eddie without reservation!

My window was leaking like a sieve (which I'll mention in my review of the window installers), despite my best efforts, and had ruined the interior paint. Eddie was able to fit me into his busy schedule, and diagnosed the leak location with minimal expense and destruction. He was there early the next day and quickly performed the repair and replaced the stucco, sticking to what I thought was a very reasonable price. No more leak.

We have several columns in our courtyard that needed to have repairs. They needed to be recemented and re-stuccoed (bases).. plus several entry way pillars that had chipping stucco on them. Eddie and his son arrived on time (early Saturday morning); removed the chipped areas, installed new cement and then new stucco. They were very clean, kept my plants protected, and everything looks new and bright. The job took most of the day. Nice work!

With my limited knowledge of Stucco, I gave a poor assessment of the work to be done. Once AC was on site they quickly and professionally educated me on the challenges of the work I needed done and explained how the job would take a little longer than was originally agreed upon. AC came back out on a Saturday to finish and still maintained the original price. I was given AC's name and phone number from a co-worker who was also very satisfied with the outcome of the work done. If you need to get some work done, Call AC Stucco FIRST!!!

Incredibly well. Everyone showed up when expected each day. They were all very respectful. Johnny, AC's brother, was in charge everyday. That guy is amazing. They did all that I explained in the earlier section. ABOVE AND BEYOND: We stayed in our home during the restucco work. Every night, at our request and without complaining, Johnny and the rest of the crew would disassemble the scaffolding around the house so we'd feel more secure. That's a big deal because it was a lot of extra work and they kindly did without complaints. They also fixed 6 windows that had previously been restucco'd by another stucco company we tried. They did this without charging and without me having ever asked for it. I came home from work one day, and there were the 6 windows, nicely restucco'd and looking every bit as good as the new work AC, Johnny and crew were doing. Now ceratinly we can't all assume that Eddie and Son will always do free work on every job and I don't think it's fair to expect it, but I will say that it really is a good sign when someone does things like that. When I asked AC and Johnny about it, they said "yeah, this is our job and those 6 windows looked aweful. We don't want our name tied to that poor workmanship, so we fixed it for you." WOW!!!!!!! I purchased my new windows and window installation services from VanDenBosch Doors and Windows. They were also quite impressed by Eddie, AC and Johnny's crew. So much so, the last I heard, they were using AC on other jobs too. I was so pleased with AC and Johnny that I also had them stucco my block walls. We're on 2.5 acres and have a lot of block walls. No sweat for these guys...more great work and beautiful sand finish. The cost for all of the work was $10,000 windows and block walls. I could have saved a little bit of money with someone a little less in price, but I don't believe that the result and level of service would have been anywhere close to the quality I recieved. When thinking of Quality, Service and Price, the saying is that you can only have any two from a vendor. I feel as though I recieved all 3 from Eddie, AC, Johnny and their company. One last item of importance. At one point towards the end of the project, there was a small misunderstanding between me and AC. I thought some additional work was to be done and AC was unaware/surprised to hear about it. Many other contractors would have fought with you, been angry, said no etc. I could tell that AC was very distraught about the misunderstanding. On the one hand he wanted me to be happy, on the other, he had to manage his costs. I was very impressed by his effort to find an amicable solution, which we did. Based on my experiences with Eddie, AC and Johnny, this is an excellent company which I couldn't never say enough good things about.
Description of Work: A.C., his family and expert crew win my family's highest praise and thanks for: great stucco work, integriy, patience, trustworthiness, honesty, professionalism and just about every other virtue. We have a 6,000+ sqft home. When built in 2005-06 we were the owner/builders. We selected a well known window company and building products supplier from which we originally purchased our windows and installation. Unfortunately, the windows leaked. We settled with those involved and embarked on replacing all the windows. The flashing around the windows was being replaced, so we had to cut the stucco back by ~9 inches around each window. We have 50+ windows in our home so imagine 50+ stucco patches on your house! If it's not done just right, it'll look just awful. I obtained 5 bids. 1 from the company that originally stucco'd the house when it was built, two from angies listings and 2 from referals. I'm so happy that I found Eddie and AC from angies list. AC came out to the house promptly upon my first call for an estimate. I called him because Eddie and Son's was rated so high on Angies List and because of the high number of current positive reviews. My one concern was that Eddie didn't have any reviews for jobs of my size posted with reviews. That concern quickly dissipated as AC explained two important items for me: First, he explained the amount of equipment/scaffolding and size of his crew. Included in this he explained that the people working for him were in fact his employees and not random crews. Many of ACs/Eddies employees have been with them for a long time. I soon was comfortable that Eddie and AC had the resources to do the work. Second, one thing I've learned is that not all stucco contractors will patch stucco the same way and after seeing the detailed process AC's team went through, I can also tell you that very few will go to the length to do it right like Eddie and AC did. AC explained to me the details of installation they would follow in order to minimize cracking. No contractor will tell you that stucco won't crack, but AC does everything possible to prevent it. What he said they would do: (1) relath ensuring proper flashing tie in to prevent water penetration (2) properly overlap new diamond mesh to old mesh. (3) caulk over the mesh joints to minimize cracking due to mesh seams. (4) apply scratch coat of stucco (applying stucco adhesive to help new stucco bond to old). (5) after drying for 5 days, apply a mesh tape and bonding agent over all seams. (6) after 2-3 days apply another bonding agent in prep for final stucco coat. (7) final sand finish coat - edge to edge. This is IMPORTANT. AC explained that to get the right blend in to the old stucco, you've have to do the whole wall for the final coat. Based on the results - I agree. AC's bid was in the low middle. A few were too low to be able to do it right - they probably quoted wrong. One was double that of ACs - crazy!

I checked Angie's list for possible stucco referrals and saw that Eddie had the most consistantly positive reports for jobs performed. I spoke to Eddie's son AC who gave me a ballpark estimate for the size/type of stucco job I wanted. AC came out to my house to give me an accurate estimate, which was still within the range he had given me over the phone. I agreed to have him do the job a week later, his crew showed up exactly on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up like they weren't even here, and left me more than pleased with the quality of their work. Call me at 602-619-0711 and I'll let you come see the excellent job they performed.
Description of Work: Stuccoed approximately 720 square feet of block wall with a smooth/sand finish. I plan to have an artist/painter come out and paint a mural so I needed a fairly smooth but consistant finish stucco job.

The final product looks better than the original as the contoured top on the kitchen wall is much smoother and more finished looking than when it was first built. At our request, they also painted the new structure for us. He always let us know when his crew would be arriving and they were always there on the dot. They left our yard in great shape each day. I have already recommended Eddie to my daughter for some work she wants done.
Description of Work: Our large outdoor kitchen needed substantial stucco repair. Eddie recommended some reconstruction to improve longevity and a synthetic stucco to better withstand the elements. They took down two layers of the wall and rebuilt them using rebar and cement fill. I requested a smooth stucco finish to match our house. We had an embedded decorative tile in the original wall and they tried their best to save it but we finally told them to just give up as it was clearly not going to happen.

Perfect. One Saturday to do the wall and stucco and came back the next weekend to do the painting.
Description of Work: A neighbor tore out a 20 year oled catsclaw vine and revealed the ugly wall beneath. Something had to be done. I have hired Eddie several times and knew his work would be excellent and fairly priced. We decided to add a small return to the wall to "hide" the garbage cans. Eddie built the new wall, covered the entire wall with stucco and then painted the wall (see photos)

The response was immediate and Eddie's son, AC, came to provide the estimate within 1 day of our initial call. He explained all that needed to be done to fix the cracks in the stucco and to properly prime and paint so the same problem would not reoccur. AC showed up exactly as promised, taped off the areas under repair to avoid any damage and repaired the stucco which then had to dry at least 5 days. Eddie came back to paint. When the areas to be touched up didn't match well, they came back at no additional expense and repainted everything that needed painting and it looks amazing. They were professional, courteous and a true pleasure to deal with. When the house needs painting, we will definitely call them back.
