Eddie reported on time for both the estimate and the work. A previous house owner had built the original fence over the property line at one point, and Eddie patiently and accurately marked the original property line and made necessary adjustments in cinder block fence alignment seamlessly. He and his employee dug the footer trench and laid the concrete footer with minimal disturbance to both properties (fence is between zero-lot-line homes). For the second day's work, a sudden conflict occurred requiring Eddie to work elsewhere on my scheduled day, and Eddie contacted me in advance and worked out an acceptable rescheduling to finish the work. He stayed until the job was completed on the new date. He thoroughly cleaned both properties and restored the sod on my side and cleaned the flagstone on my neighbor's property thoroughly. My neighbor and I are very happy with the new fence and the way it looks. Due to rescheduling, the cinder block was left by his contractor on the street in front of my neighbor's house, and Eddie arrived and personally moved the cinder block to a safer location himself in preparation for work on the rescheduled date. My neighbor and I are extemely pleased with the work performed, the care with which Eddie and his employee performed the work, the care shown in minimizing work damage to our properties and in restoring our properties after the work was completed, and in his working to maintain our property line alignment. The quality of work is outstanding!

It went very well from start to finish.
Description of Work: Eddie and assistant took down a damaged cinder block fence panel, chopped out the tree roots that damaged the fence, poured a new footing for the fence, cleaned the old cinder blocks and rebuilt the wall with the old cinder blocks (so the new wall matched the old wall), and then stuccoed one side of the wall so it matched my neighbors side of the wall. All this he did at the quoted price and in the quoted time frame. The repaired fence blended well with the original block wall. I was very satisfied with his work.

Eddie had one worker in addition to himself and called in a welder to re-adjust the hinges.
Description of Work: We bought a foreclosed house with gates on both sides of the house and the back. We called a few gate companies and the cost to entirely replace the gates was well into the 2000 range. We decided instead to have the existing gates repaired which are wood slates nailed into a metal frame. The problem we had with the originals is we could not open or close the gates easily and rabbits would crawl underneath and destroyed the plants in our backyard. Eddie was very professional and responsive. He and his worker poured concrete on the bottom to provide a smoother surface, re-welded the hinges, replaced all the wooden slates, and spray painted them for us. Looks fantastic!

Eddie was great to work with and his work was excellent. He was prompt and courteous from the beginning through to the end. We're very please with his masonary work and would hire him again in a heartbeat. Eddie and his team followed the plan to the letter and the final product was exactly what we wanted. Eddie had top hotch equipment and his crew knew how to use them. Very professional and a great experience.

This was the fourth experience with Eddie and his crew on another job well done. This company in the hands of Eddie is like nothing I have ever experienced with anyone else. Everything from showing up to estimate the job all the way through to completing the job is outstanding. The quality is everything you want at a honest and fair price. I have had everything from big jobs to small jobs such as this one and had nothing but great comments from family and friends on the quality work. This crew comes highly recommended. Another great job EDDIE!!!

Very well! Eddie was prompt and communicated the steps very well. He was the first to respond to our solicitation and even came out on Sunday to estimate the work. We would definitely call Eddie if we ever had another problem!
Description of Work: Water damage to roof. Approx 5 sqft of rotted roofing on 2nd floor overhang. Approx 5 rows of tiles had to be removed (5 deep). Felt and plywood had to be removed. Flashing had to be re-installed and some facia had to be replaced. Damaged roof tiles had to be matched and replaced. All replacement work had to be painted to match.

The block/stucco wall surrounding our property, as well as the landscape walls and pool equipment enclosure, were more than 20 years old. The finish and the color of the walls no longer matched the house. We chose Eddie Correa as a direct result of the reviews on Angie's list. Eddie was willing to meet our scheduling needs for the estimate visit, was prompt, provided an estimate that day that was within the range that we anticipated, and we hired him on the spot. He arrived for work on the dates and times that he said he would, once again meeting our requirements for scheduling. The work was completed on time, and he and his crew cleaned our yard every day before they left. Upon completion of the job, we noted a few areas behind heavy vegetation that needed additional stucco. He immediately responded and completed those areas to our satisfaction. In addition we had had some repair work on our interior fireplace and needed the fireplace stucco patched. He and his crew did an excellent job matching the finish on the fireplace. We highly recommend Eddie Correa. He is a polite, honest, hard working man who provides excellent service. We would definitely use him again.

We purchase a 25 year old home 2 years ago. We re-roofed within months because the initial inspection report said the felt was shot. Once the re-roofing project was completed we had leak, after leak, after leak. Each time I would call the contracter and he would come out and add extra caulking, concrete/mud caps, more caulking, etc. Finally the contractor told me it wasn't a roof issue, but instead a "chimney leak" and therefore not his problem.... So I called contractor after contractor. Several didn't even want to deal with it, or rather know how to deal with it. Others came, looked at it and said they would get back to me with an estimate, which I never did receive. And still others said it was the re-roofers problem and didn't want to void the the warranty on the roof, so wouldn't even touch the job. All said and done, 18 months later I finally joined Angie's List and found Eddie Correa. Eddie answered his phone when I called, asked me to text my address to him and said he could look at the project the following morning. Eddie showed up at the agreed time (actually 15 minutes early) looked at the project, gave me an estimate on the spot and told me he could be back the next morning to start work! He showed up the next morning with his helper, Carlos, and they worked all day. By the end of the day they had removed the old rock on the chimney, rebuilt the water damaged part of the chimney and stuccoed the chimney. When Eddie discovered that there was extensive and unexpected water damage to the top of the chimney he explained it to me and we agreed on a very minimal cost increase. At the end of the day everything had been cleaned up and all garbage removed from the site. Eddie once again took the time to explain to me before leaving that the stucco would require some time to dry properly; a week or so. During the drying time we had rain, the following morning Eddie called to ask how the new chimney had held up, did I have any leaks? WOW, a contractor calling me AND no leaks! Once the stucco had dried Eddie returned and painted the chimney, re-caulked around the chimney and re-installed the roof tiles around the chimney. After the first day of work I offered to partially pay him for his work, but he said I should wait until the project was completed. Eddie Correa is one honest, hard working, dependable, and extremely fair priced contractor!
Description of Work: Remove and dispose of existing faux rock on chimney Repair water damage to wood frame of chimney Stucco chimney to match existing home (a perfect match) Order and install chimney cap Seal/Caulk around chimney Re-install tile around chimney (I supplied/had additional roof tiles that were needed) Paint Stucco (I supplied/had paint)

Eddie is owner and is a simplified name for Heriberto. His company is licensed, bonded, insured. He worked alongside his crew. I chose from Angies List based on small company that would charge less than the large-overhead companies. Better price than other estimates including unlicensed estimate I had done (person who was working under friend's license). There were difficulties with project he helped solve. I was new property owner and neighbor had built concrete-gardening structures 4 feet onto my lot. He had to work with daily interruptions from this irrational person. The job was approved by both town and neighborhood association. From start, he was immediately responsive to all phone calls. Each stage from trenching, block wall building, stucco, painting, clean-up, and with inspections were almost always scheduled the following day after completing previous stage. He went beyond estimate with superior metal & wood gates that matched wall paint and had matching stained and sealed wood. The pillars for wall were also done closer than specs and give above average strength and appearance. Dug deep for tall sail shade pole. I have a nice large patio now too. Always pleasant when talking to me and made sure I was happy.
Description of Work: completed 6' high privacy wall to enclose 3 sides of large backyard on 1/3 acre property. Included 12' wide gate, 4' wide walk through gate, 147 sq ft patio slab, and 12' above ground sail-shade pole.

eddie showed up exactly when he said he would for an estimate. He provided an estimate on the spot. he and his associate showed up as promised on the start date and were done with the work on time. The job required applying stucco up to a previously-stuccoed portion of the new construction, and it is virtually impossible to tell where the first job ended and his job began. Eddie was very punctual and showed up earlier than he said. I hired him to cut out a hole in my masonry brick wall so that I could install a window in our dining room. I really appreciate his work ethics..He's a very hard worker and very friendly..Despite his work ethic he did cut too much brick than I asked for. As a result I had to replace a row of bricks at the bottom. It took me a whole day. I'm sure it would have gone faster if I had done brick laying before but it was my first time...Maybe if I would have hired him to do the entire job I would have had a different experience...I just felt like he was working too fast and he didn't take his time which resulted in the mistake. All in all I would hire him again for another project in the future. The price and the his effort were worth it.

I met with Eddie last fall for a quote. He showed up about 10 minutes early. We agreed to a price at that time. I told him it would be a few months since we had to save up the money for the job. After about six months I called Eddie to schedule a date for the job. He agreed to the same quote given to me before. Eddie started the stucco job a few days later. I wanted to be present during the work. He worked around my complex schedule to make sure I would be there. It took them three days from start to finish. Each day Eddie and his crew showed up on-time and left the work site clean at the end of the day. The quality of his work was top-notch! The first day they took down all of the cracked old stucco and installed the foam and stucco wire. They added pop-outs to all of the windows and doors and also widened our front posts. The second day the first coat of stucco was applied. The third day the top coat was applied to the whole house. A few minor adjustments had to be made during the whole process but I am a very detailed and picky person. Eddie worked well with me! Eddie said he would come back and fix any cracks. We painted our house this past weekend and did not find any cracks that needed to be fixed. I could tell that the stucco job was very well done! I am completely satisfied with the job Eddie did! He will be highly recommended to anyone that asks!!!
Description of Work: Eddie removed and disposed of cracked stucco that was improperly installed by a previous stucco contractor. New foam, wire and stucco was installed. Pop-outs were installed around all windows and doors. Front skinny 4x4 posts were widened with foam and wire as well as stuccoed.

Eddie put in a cinder block wall fence with 2 gates after removing an old wood fence with a perimeter of about 225 Linear feet. He did the job when he said and worked with us on concerns about having the swimming pool unprotected. Eddie installed a pool fence prior to constructing the block wall fence so we would not have any concerns. It worked out fine. I had an afterthought to remove a solid cinder block and install a cinder block with openings at the base of the wall and he did that after construction no charge. Then, for a second job for additional costs, I asked him if he would be interested in painting the exterior after stuccoing the wood gables and he did that as well. I would call him any time to do work for me. Cheryl
