He was very good and I will definitely use him again. His name was Steve Jaggers. I used them last week. It turned out it was a simple bee that does not have a stinger. They were easy to remove. The price was very good. The quality of his work was very good. He was very knowledgeable in his field.

If it is possible for a homeowner to be present at the time of inspection and service, I think it would be helpful for Steve so that he can actually see what is going and whether the colony is established or a new move-in like mine were.
Description of Work: I had a colony of bees who recently decided to make my attic their new home. Steve came to my house while I was at work, made his observations/analysis and then telephoned me with the results. I okayed the work to be performed. He left the bill for me outside along with his business card. He invited me to call him if I saw any bees or had any questions. I called him later in the evening to discuss the entry point and he shared his opinion about the potential effiveness or ineffectivenss of trying to build the bees out. I didn't received any other estimates from other providers so I don't know if the $150 I paid was within market range, high or low. I would use Steve again as he comes across as a straight shooter and willing to answer questions.

Steve was very prompt, I called from work and he said he'd do it right then with nobody home. He called later and said the job was done, he would check it the next day and I could just leave a check under the mat. He called again to see if any bees returned. I never actually met or saw him. He did a good job, the bees are gone and he has a 45 day guarantee. I had a bee infestation in the same place several years ago and got ripped off, the costs kept escalating above the quote. You can't go wrong with Steve.

After purchasing a house that had been vacant for about 1 year, we needed to have a large bee hive removed from underneath the guest bathroom tub. Steve was prompt and efficient. I did misunderstand the service being provided; you are paying strictly for the killing of the bees in the hive. All hive removal was our responsibility. I was concerned that the handyman we contracted with to remove the old tub might be stung, as 2 days after the application of poison there was still some movement/noise in the hive. Steve applied a 2nd round the day before the tub removal and agreed to be available the next day if needed when the tub was removed. There were a few bees still alive under the tub the next day, but no one got stung and we were able to remove the tub safely. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service and I would recommend Bee Removal to my friends.

Steve was very prompt in scheduling a consulattion to remove a bee hive in our backyard. We scheduled, tentatively, for a Sunday but he said that if he couldn't make it out then he would be out by 7:30am the next morning. Unfortunately, he never showed up or called to let me know he wasn't coming. To date, he hasn't bothered to call and even try to reschedule. Luckily, I found someone else who came out the same day and took care of the bees.

We had called another Bee Exterminating company prior to Bee Removal. They had come out and sprayed once, drilled holes in our house and warned us that we would see bees for a while coming back from their zones. They guaranteed their work for 90 days and said to call if we should still see bees in a week. After a week it was apparent that the Colony was still very active, inside the parapet on the back patio. We called the other Bee company back on three different occasions and each time the owner said he would be out within 5-6 hours. Never showed up each time and never called back. This is when we called Bee Removal from Angie's List. Steve came out that afternoon was professional, used professional products which killed the bees instantly and advised us what we needed to do. We only saw one bee after he left the first day. After that we have not seen a single bee. Steve also offered us a 90 day guarantee which I feel very comfortable that he would honor. I can't tell you enough how much we appreciate Angie's list in helping the consumer find reliable, professional services such as and quot;Bee Removaland quot; and their representative Steve Jaggers.

In the ensuing two days the bee activity slowed to a crawl. On the 3rd day I observed one bee arrive on the patio..I fully expected it to heed the and quot;eviction noticeand quot; and leave. Instead, it landed on the switchplate of the light fixture directly below the original opening and quickly disappeared through a tiny vertical slit along the side the switchplate. I caulked that small opening right away but thinking this would never end. That, however, was the last of any bee activity. Aware that I'm a senior on a limited fixed income, Steve only charged me what amounted to little more than the cost of gas for his trip. While researching the Internet I have not been able to find 'sand bees' that behaved the way the bees I had did. That said, whatever they were, I was secure in the knowledge that they were non aggressive, harmless and...they're gone!
Description of Work: Called Steve on Monday and he arrived, as scheduled, on Tuesday morning. He called first, as promised, and advised he was running early..asked if that was that okay, I said yes. Had bees entering between the patio and living area wall via a small opening on patio ceiling. I had visions of tearing walls down, having to extricate a slimy seeping honeycomb, drywall and slump block repairs; an expensive fix which I could ill afford. Steve took one look at just the tiny opening I had pointed out..no bees to see at the time... and immediatley said that they were harmless sand bees. He explained their habits and proceeded to caulk the opening. Unfortunately there were countless other openings all along the ceiling and elsewhere on the patio overhang through which bees could gain access. He cauked several that were accessible but not before placing sticks of insecticide in each. He had also used a canned spray in the opening the bees were using. Steve also took me out to his truck to show me what both honey bees and Africanized bees looked like from hives that he had removed elsewhere.

See above for desciption of service provided. Again this is a company that is everything you would want in a provider- responded fast, were there on a Sunday, priced fairly for the service they provided and cleaned up when they left. Would recommend and use again.
Description of Work: This company was there on a Sunday. We contacted them to remove a large bee nest from our tree. Quoted us a fair price--- much less than the company that is listed in the (April 2011) Angie's list magazine w/ the 10% off coupon! Arrived very fast, in the time they said that they would be at our house. Removed the bee's nest and cleaned up the area. This company is everything you want in a provider - priced resonable, fast response & the area was left clean. Would recommend & use again. Thank you & thank you Angie's list for having them on your web site.

Called company on a Sunday morning, and exterminator was at my house 90 minutes later! He diagnosed the bee problem and explained what he was going to do. He also caulked around the area where they were getting into the wall, and removed a couple of bees that had gotten into the house. He was courteous and professional, and guaranteed his work. His was the only company I called that would come out on the weekend, all the others kept M-F normal business hours. It was important to have the problem taken care of that day, because I couldn't use the front door or set my irrigation timer due to the swarm. He was very much customer service oriented.

Steve was great! He was responsive to my call, came the next day, called when he said he would and arrived when he said he would. He explained everything and was conscientious of my pets and those on the block. I felt guilty killing the bees, but Steve helped me feel better about it, which was a plus in my book! The price can't be beat, too!

Job went well. Bees killed in one application. Steve guaranteed his work and promised to come back if needed. But all bees were gone in 1-2 days. No problems!
Description of Work: I had a colony of honey bees make their home in a cavity in the ceiling of my carport. I called Steve at Bee Removal and he was able to give me a quote over the phone and was able to come over two days later. The owner, Steve, came over and explained that there were hundreds of bees and that just buying spray at Home Depot would not work. I had tried to battle the bess that way myself with no luck. Steve explained the procedure, what would happen, and how long it would take for the bees to leave or die. He assured us that if the procedure did not work, just call and he'd be right back for free. He sprayed and the bees were gone after two days. Problem solved.

My experience with Steve Jaggers (the owner) was excellent. I called on Easter and told Steve that I had bees around my eaves and that I wanted him to kill them. He told me that the service would normally be between $115 and $125, but it would be about $150 because of the holiday and that I could wait until the next morning based on my description of the bee activity. I told him I would prefer to see him doing the work and he agreed to come out within 30-45 minutes. He arrived when he said he would, and went to work spraying the area and then dusting it with a white dust. I watched him while he performed the work and the white dust made the bees go away. When he was finished, Steve explained that the white dust could be washed away in a day or two or just left there. He also expalined that this was not the swarm or hive of bees and that these were scout bees looking for a home for the swarm. Because this was not a swarm, Steve said he would only charge me $125 for this work and would charge the additional $25 only if he had to return. He guaranteed his work for 30 days. Steve also took the time to look at my other trees to see if there were any swarms and explained that someone else in the area would have bees because these scout bees would still be looking for another place to make a hive. I would happily recommend this company to whoever winds up with these bees!

The job went beautifully. Steve arrived when he said he would and quickly got rid of the bees, AND at a price that was twenty dollars less than the telephone quote. He said it was a very simple job and didn't take much time. He couldn't remove the hive since the queen was there and they had an active comb which he couldn't get out without tearing into the wall. His only option was to dust the hive. He even told the neighbor what he was doing and advised him to keep an eye open for any of the bees who might be angry during the dusting. All in all I was extremely happy with the job and especially happy with the price.
Description of Work: We had a colony of bees living in the block walls of our home. I didn't know if there were Africanized or not (Steve confirmed that they were). The Bees had found two small openings in the cinder block that had been drilled years ago for an electrical outlet (long since removed). Evidently the loose insulation that was in the block had fallen out the bottom hole leaving a nice open area for the bees to build their hive. The bees needed to be either moved or exterminated. I went to Angie's List and began looking for a bee person and found Steve at No Bugs Allowed Bee Removal.

Piece of cake, or that's how Steve made it look. He came over the same day and took care of the hive. He gave us ideas about how to keep them away, luckily it is a tree that was being removed anyway. He advised my husband not to mow the lawn or cut down the tree right away. I guess vibration makes them mad, and 'left over' bees might already be mad about their house. A couple days later Steve checked back just to make sure the bees hadn't moved back in.

Steve Jaggers (owner), came out within 30 mins of being called. Steve looked at the bees and determined they were "scout" bees looking for a new home. He sprayed some dust and said to lookout over the next 48 hrs, to see if the entire swarm comes here, but given the dust he sprayed, this was not likely. Since, it was a quick visit, I was charged only $50 instead of the $125 estimate, I was given on the phone.

THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE! MR JAGGERS WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. HE SHOWED UP WITHIN 45 MINUTES OF MY FIRST PHONE CALL ON A SATURDAY MORNING AND QUOTED ME A PRICE OVER THE PHONE AND THEN WHEN DONE WITH THE WORK, TOOK $15 OFF AS ''IT WAS A SMALL JOB.'' I GUESS A FEW THOUSAND BEES IS A SMALL JOB TO HIM! HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT HE WAS GOING TO DO AND EXPLAINED ABOUT ALL PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE REGARDING BEING IN THE BACKYARD OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS AND EVEN SUGGESTED THAT I LET MY NEIGHBOR KNOW ABOUT THE SPRAY AND DUST HE USED AND TO TELL THEM TO BE CAUTIOUS IN THEIR BACKYARD. FINALLY, HE GAVE ME A 30 DAY GUARANTEE IF MORE BEES SWARMED AGAIN ON THE SAME TREE. COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE FROM PICKING AN UNKNOWN COMPANY OFF OF THE BBB WEBSITE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BEE REMOVAL!
Description of Work: MR. JAGGERS TOOK CARE OF A LARGE SWARM OF BEES THAT SHOWED UP IN MY BACKYARD MESQUITE OVERNIGHT. THEY WERE PACKED ALL TOGETHER IN ONE LARGE CLUMP ON A BRANCH 10 TO 12 FT OFF THE GROUND AND HE WAS ABLE TO SPRAY AND DUST THEM OFF AND REMOVED THE MAJORITY OF BEES FROM THE BRANCH AND GROUND. HE TOOK CARE OF DISPOSING THE BEES AND DID NOT LEAVE THEM ON SITE FOR ME TO DEAL WITH.
