Emailed vendor for an estimate to repair irrigation system. Received an email in the morning, the vendor declined to provide an estimate as they are not accepting new clients at this time.

Awesome. Craig and his crew came on Thursday and sprayed the grass and cleaned up the back yard. Friday we selected the plants and had them planted on the three contoured mounds they had made with the new soil they had brought in. They laid out new drip systems for the new plants and my existing trees. On Monday Craig and his crew spread 50 tons of gravel over the yard and checked and adjusted the sprinklers and drip system for the whole property.

Craig came out and gave an estimate that included all aspects of our job. He separated some of the items so we could decide If it was something we would be interested in. He was punctual and professional during all meetings that we had. When we decided to go with his estimate we met at the nursery so Craig could go over the different kinds of plants and the pros and cons of each, which he was very knowledgeable about. On the day the project was to start, Craig and his team were here and ready to go. They tore out all of the old landscaping as well as outdated pavers. He also moved the control boxes for the irrigation and also the lights to where they were supposed to be (previous owners did it themselves and it showed). He also added some design concepts in yard as he went along. His team was very efficient and was completed in about 2.5 days, and that included cleanup. Along the process he also taught us how to tap into the irrigation and power lines in case we wanted to add plants or lights in the future. He also took the time to explain how the lights and irrigation controllers worked and what setting they should be on during different times of the year. A couple days after they completed our landscaping lights stopped working and Craig came out that day and replaced a defective control unit, he also came back and replaced a plant that was dying and did not take to the landscaping. He came out that day and replaced it in a timely manner. Craig and his team did a great job, he was very professional and the work was of great quality. We would definitely use him again for any landscaping needs that we may have.

Everything went very well. The owner and his assistant both worked very hard getting the work done in one day. They were efficient and professional.

I can't say enough good things about this company and their work. I don't recall ever being so satisfied with a job from every aspect. Craig was responsive on our every concern and it was only about 2 weeks from the point of first contact that the job was done. I had the design but Craig helped add some excellent ideas. We had a paver path put in as well as a paver patio (circular), plants, fill dirt, a wall to hide the pool equipment , irrigation, boulders, and gravel. The ENTIRE job was done in 2 days and it looks fantastic. An added touch was that Craig took us shopping for plants and gravel and pavers so we were sure about what we were getting. He was very good about checking in with us on exactly where we wanted the plants. (and very patient as I changed my mind a few times) The entire crew was highly professional and efficient as well as friendly. They were careful to clean up after work and left the place spotless. I HIGHLY recommend this company and look forward to using them again for our front yard. Everything about the job went smoothly and we ended with exactly what we wanted and then some. The entire job was done in 2 days which is still hard to believe. We have exactly what we pictured - even more! BRAVO on a GREAT job! and THANK YOU!!!

Whomever called me from this company was too lazy to come to my house to give me an estimate. He gave one over the phone which was inaccurate. Why? He asked me how thick my pavers were. It wasn't until a few minutes after I hung up with him that I realized that he had asked me that question so he would know how much dirt he would have to dig up and haul away. Except that it was not necessary to do so because the area is surrounded by 2" of crushed granite. The bottom of the pavers would be flush with the existing surrounding soil and the top with the granite. His estimate was $500 higher than everyone elses. If he had come to my house he would have seen that, instead of assuming he had to dig more.

I emailed to ask for a quote and Craig said he would and asked for my location. I phoned to give my location but no one answered. So I emailed my address and phone number and told him to call me when he wants to come over. It has been 6 days and I haven't heard from Craig or his office.

In our 20+ years of building and renovating homes, our experience with Craig and AZ NativeScapes is one of the best we have ever had! From day one, Craig showed up on time for our initial meeting to discuss our yard. He took the time to talk to us about our goals, ideas, etc. He came up with an overall design for our entire yard and gave us a written estimate on the spot. He also told us how long the job would take and the first available slot he had in his schedule. Craig is clearly an expert and professional with a focus on quality. His crew showed up early everyday and knocked out our entire yard on time and beyond our expectations. Craig was on site everyday working side by side with his team. Craig Rawlings grew up in the landscaping business and has brothers and uncles in the business. He is meticulous about his work as evidenced by the time he spent on his hands and knees cleaning up mortar off pavers. Craig was out the day after I called and provided a written quote on the spot. My job was large and complicated and his initial quote did not leave out anything. Except for some unforeseen repairs to the prior landscapers work, the project stayed within his initial quote. Craig and his workers showed up on time each morning and worked long hours. They cleaned up after themselves each evening. They started their work on a Wednesday and completed it the next Wednesday. The project went very quickly and the quality exceeded my expectations. Craig is very outgoing and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him and his people. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. He can handle small to large jobs. It was important to me to find a contractor who would show up on site everyday to check the quality of work. Craig not only showed up but completed jobs himself which he felt needed to be 'perfect'. That is what you get with this company: attention to detail.

Since I was not on site while the work was being done I cannot give details. But I can tell you that my renters were overly impressed with the quality of work and professionalism that was demonstrated. Verbally, Craig gave the project 5 days but was completed within 4.

Called for estimate to replace rock, trim trees, plant new plants, etc. Craig was very personable and knowledgable. Price estimate was within dollars of what we expected to pay. Craig and his crew arrived on time and worked all day until the job was done. He actually found issues that we didn't even know we had with our sprinkler system and fixed them. The yard looks great and I would definitely use AZ Nativescapes in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for quality landscaping.

In addition to removing the offending tree limb and tree debris, the other trees in the yard were groomed (removing old stakes, bad limbs). An agave was transplanted to the backyard and an aloe vera planted in its place. Other shrubs in the front were trimmed and shaped. Gravel was spread evenly. In addition time was taken to check the irrigation system to be sure that all was working appropriately, with the result that the line for recently planted trees was changed to allow for deep-water delivery. Gate allowing access into the backyard was adjusted for easier opening/closing. All in all this was a great experience.

Craig did an excellent job of convincing me of his dedication to doing a great job for his customers and provided some free advice about my pathway. I was very impressed that he went out of his way like this to try to make things right when what happened was through no fault of his own. I would use him in the future.

Craig, the owner is a very personable young man. He gave a quote for the work last week and scheduled the job to be started and completed on Monday. His workers arrived right on time and were considerate of our neighbors during the whole process. We were very pleased with the work that was completed and the flagstone walkway is beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you hire this company

AZ Native Scapes did a complete makeover on my yard. Our yard was overgrown with some dead trees. Within a week, AZ Native Scapes were able to cut and take away all the dead overgrown shrubs and dead trees. Once that was completed, they put in new plants plus a new irrigation system and fabulous hardscape in the front yard. The yard looks great!

When we called Craig to get an estimate, he was there the next day. We explained what we wanted done & told him our budget. He worked hard to get us everything we wanted for our budget & he succeeded. He was very nice & everything was done on time. He was very careful to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction & everything was clean & neat when he was done. He also took the time to set the drip system & show us how to use it. We had to call him a couple weeks later because 2 of our new plants had died. I sent him an email to let him know & he was there the next day to replace them & checked on all the others as well. This experience was one of the best I've ever had with any contractor. I would definitely recommend him!

We hired Craig to remodel our landscaping of our 1979 ranch home after purchasing it out of foreclosure. Past owners had quite a bit of extensive landscaping that needed to be refreshed and changed to fit our desires. We picked this company after receiving 4 quotes to have the work done. Craig was middle of the pack price wise, but really seemed to have a grasp on our goals and how to approach the project. Other than showing up early one day and my 2 year old pit giving Craig a little early morning scare, the entire project went smooth from our end. I wasn't home when the confrontation with my neighbor occurred, but I can see both sides of the story. There was certainly dirt and debris in the road at times, but it was cleaned up nightly. After working in the construction industry myself for a few years, I can easily say that it was nothing out of the ordinary, especially considering the amount of material moved. We are more than happy with the end result and have already received many compliments on our new landscape. I still have a few small projects to tackle down the road and wouldn't hesitate to hire Craig again.

The owner of this company is on site and doing our neighbors landscaping. Today Craig, the owner was using a power blower to blow dust off the property. He was blowing the dust into the street and directly onto our yard. This created a major dust cloud and stirred up quite a mess. I went to bring it to his attention that he was blowing this mess into the street and our property. He got really upset. He said he has been doing this for 20 years and to not tell him his job. He then threw down his hat and the blower and got in my face and physically threatened me. While I can't comment on the quality of his landscaping, His lack of professionalism and lack of self control are rather disturbing.L

we are very pleased with the end result and plan on using Craig again for our front yard we we have the cash to do so.

I had Craig come out and give me an estimate for landscaping my front yard after most plants died during the recent hard freeze. Craig was responsive and professional throughout the entire process. He was able to come out a few days later, and spent lots of time going over what I had, what I wanted and different options available. When I explained I was looking for low-maintenance, Craig was highly knowledgeable as far as plants well suited for the desert environment and achieving the look I wanted. He was not pushy at all and gave me a fair written estimate. I decided to go forward with the project and Craig was able to schedule the job just a few days later. It cam out excellent - Everything was completed exactly on time, on budget, and most importantly looks terrific. Craig was very honest, saving me money on parts of the irrigation system that could be reused, when I had expected they needed to be replaced. I would highly recommend Craig and AZ Nativescapes to anyone interested, as several of my neighbors asked for his information after the work was complete. Thanks!

They came out and gave me an estimate. They showed up on time and answered my questions. I like the price and scheduled the work. They leveled my yard and made certain I was please with the work performed. They did a great job and I am happy to use them in the future.

I thought Craig did a great job getting the issue fixed from the intial phone call to shut the water off so the yard wouldnt continue to flood, to showing me the problem and fixing the problem. He even reset the timer for me! :) When I called I heard that he was on the phone, I hung up and he called me back when he was finsihed! He showed up on time and answered all my questions and concerns. :)

We set an appointment to meet at my house for an evaluation/quote, but he never showed and didn't call. I was patient and waited an hour past the scheduled meeting time before calling-- chalking it up to traffic or some other circumstance. Left him a voicemail to reschedule, but he never phoned me back. Not sure if the job I described was too small (needed sod installation, cleanup, gravel). Just don't know what went wrong. He sounded like a really nice guy in our initial phone conversation. Based on that I'd probably still give him business if there were any simple explanation.

Comments: Craig is an on-site owner/supervisor. He and his crew have a work ethic that consumers dream of. Possibly because they were working on a deadline, or maybe this is their normal schedule, the crew arrived around 7 am each day, ate lunch on site and worked until dusk. The quality of their work is excellent and they involved me at each new phase of the project to make sure they were achieving what I had envisioned.. I could not be happier that I chose AZNativescapes! Work was completed well within their projected time and they left the entire worksite clean and ready to use.
