AZ Grand roofing and painting

After getting a lot of help with color selection and other recommendations, the crew arrived on schedule and proceeded to prep for painting. Following that painting was done efficiently and professionally. Cleanup was excellent and a thorough review was performed. We are very happy with the results and would use them again.

John Shaw Home Improvements company is absolutely the best! I just had the exterior of my 2-storey home painted. I interviewed almost 1 dozen companies in Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler. The promises and prices ranged all over the place. One company even wanted to do the work on trust and a handshake – nothing written – very dangerous sign. After 2 weeks of searching, I settled on John Shaw Home Improvements company (480-309-7853). John was professional, courteous, soft spoken and never exaggerated nor over committed. His pricing was quite competitive. His team was extremely careful, covering and masking areas well beyond the usual required areas. The job was completed exactly as agreed upon. Not only am I super-pleased with the end-result, but I have also been receiving compliments from neighbors in my community. Thank you, John!

AZ Grand Roofing and Painting was excellent from the proposal bid to the completion of the work. The crew were hard workers. Painting was started early on May 19 and was completed on the 21st. The crew made sure everything was taped properly and took extra care to make sure to cover areas so paint would not get on my flagstone or patio furniture. At the end of each day, they made sure they cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

John and his team did a wonderful job prepping and painting our house and our block walls. John came over to the house to provide a quote for the project, answered all of our (many) questions, and made sure that we were happy with the job at the end. The project was completed quickly and with high quality!

Working with John Shaw was excellent from start to finish. He came out and did a thorough explanation of how the painting process would go, and was very communicative before our start date. We have a 2 story home, so it took a day and a half to finish. The painters did a great job and cleaned up after the process was finished. The house looks great! I retired 3 years ago after 40+ years in construction management and as a contractor. I consider myself an expert including services as an expert witness. John Shaw’s painting is by far the best I have ever encountered. If you choose not to hire John you are doing yourself a great disservice and one you may regret. I seldom post good reviews since you can’t be to careful who you recommend. And, no I have no previous knowledge of John or his company but he is simply the best.

Everything about this process was thorough. John explained exactly what was to be done for out whole-house painting job, and it was all completed very well. John was also very communicative when I had questions on the day the work was being done. We are very happy with the end result!

I was in a time crunch to have my new home painted and they we're able to accommodate me and complete the work in a timely maner. They gave me good recommendations on paint and it turned out great. Definitely recommended them if your looking for a quality painter. Will hire again.

What a pleasant experience, from the initial on site consultation with John to the walk through at the completion of the job. John outlined in detail the process how he would execute the work. He also provided recommendations considering it was original paint from a fifteen yr old builder paint job. A written estimate was provided by John. Both stucco and outside patio drywall repair were needed. The top surface of my parapet walls were in need of repair and included in scope. John also replaced my garage door trim mouldings. At the initial consultation John estimated four weeks until he could start. At four weeks I received a call he was going to begin work the next day. The crew was professional, experienced and thorough. I work from home and was surprised how little noise I heard from outside. The few times John called me with questions he said he didn't want to disturb me. It was obvious this mindset was adopted by the crew also. The work was completed on time, as discussed with no surprises. When I walked the job completion with John I found no items that needed attention. BTW, my home is over 3600 SF, single story. I would recommend hiring John for your project needs. Dan

He made the decision process uncomplicated and even went the extra mile by personally obtaining the approval from my HOA. He also cleaned, patched and applied a coating to my patio roof.
