Arizona Painting Company

We chose these contractors based on reviews on Angie's list. We did not have a good experience. But a contractor's work is only as good as the crew that is sent to do it. We didn't really have a crew. We had 6 different people who came and went, Most of them I only saw once. Pro: When the painter wanted us to sign off on half finished work the owner came out to view the mess then sent a proper crew to finish the work. Con: We chose them based on their rating on Angie’s list. But our paint crew was probably not the same crew that other people had. The first day five people showed up. We never saw three of them again. One woman had never been a panter before. She was there for an hour. Two of the men were fine but were only there one day. One woman who came back at the end was great. The head of the crew was a problem from the moment he walked in the house. The first thing he said was my fault he had brought the wrong quantities of paint ((I had never met him before. What did his mistake have to do with me?) . He was rude, hostile, messy, Someone threw their leftover paint in my bushes. Was it him? He didn't tape any edges over the carpet or ceilng. He said he ws too good to need to do that. and it is true he only got paint on our carpet in a few places. The second and third day he had no crew.No helpers. The other four painters just disappeared. We have wall to wall carpet and no one has ever worn shoes in our house. Except for this painter who refused to take off his shoes. And since he went out to his car for a few minutes every hour….( I won't’ speculate why) … his shoes were always dirty. The job just went on and on. Five ordinary sized rooms took more than a week. We paid for two coats but the painter wanted us to sign off on the job after one coat. At this point there was rubble in every room and furniture piled in the middle of each room. At this point we called the company they sent another crew who finished the job. They were great. But the total experience was a not what I expected from a top rated company on Angie's List. In fact we use Angie's List to avoid this kind of scenario. I see a space to add photos to this review. I have three to share. The first two were taken when the painter asked us to sign off on the job as finished. One shows a wall plug that was painted over. The second photo shows the paint job around (and on) a doorknob. The third was taken when I discovered he dumped paint inside a full grown beautiful bush on my front lawn.

Abdiel and Albert did a great job and were very responsive, dealt very well with a few complications and completed the job in couple of days as expected. They prepped everything and took extra attention on problem spots. Would have them back, very easy to talk to and work with.

excellent, Jerry was the foreman of my project. He and his assistant were on time, worked diligently and finished within the time frame that i was told. During the project, Jerry called me at least twice a day with updates (i was at work). I was extremely happy with the results. I would highly recommend Arizona Painting Company and Jerry was a very good, professional foreman.

Arizona painting company did an outstanding job painting our house. The experience started with an estimate that was spot on and thorough about what the painters were going to do. The price was reasonable and very competitive and worth every penny for the amount of effort they put into meticulously painting our house. Mike's team showed up promptly and on time to clean the house, seal the foundation and caulk windows, doors, and stucco cracks. From there they completed our house in 3 days with over 30 pop outs to paint. At the end Mike took the time to walk around the house 3 times during the day to make sure every spot was covered. Arizona painting company deserves the highest rating as it was a great experience and extremely thorough job. Thanks guys!!!

We were extremely pleased with the impeccable work that Jonathan and Armando did at our home. Their professionalism, work ethic, punctuality, and precision was outstanding!

Jose & Abraham were great! They came out this week to paint the entire exterior of my home and surrounding walls. Really nice guys, worked quickly and did a great job. They were respectful of my property and cleaned up before leaving nightly. Much easier process than I had anticipated and the house looks great!

The project which should have taken one day went on for several weeks. The original workers did a very poor job. We asked the supervisor to visit the project and he agreed with our assessment. After several missed follow up appointments we finally got the company to agree to send a different painter (Jose G) who repaired and retouched the original work. He did an great job and had he been on the project from the beginning, I suspect we should have had no complaints.

The workmen under the direction of Juan were timely. Juan kept us informed as we were not staying at the house while job being performed. It was great the Juan kept us up to date and sent Before and After pictures. We were quite pleased with the communication and the professional manner of the service.

Excellent. Victor and his helper were very professional and informative. The results speak for themselves. Would recommend to anyone who needed painting done.

Everything went extremely well. The guys arrived on time every day and did a fabulous job. It's a lot of work to paint an entire house with us still in it...living out of boxes in the middle of every room. Very cordial and understanding.

Horrible! Constantly late arriving, early departure. Job took days longer than promised. Poor work ethic. Poor quality. Still not completed satisfactorily. I would invite anyone thinking about hiring them to come by my house.

It was smooth, workers worked clean, made sure I was happy with every step. I highly recommend the Arizona Painting Company. They offer a 10 year warranty on their Gold Package, top of the line Sherwin Williams paint!

We were promised 3 people on the job but got one and a half. I say 1.5 because the painter's helper was awful. He used a roller that splashed on glass light covers, mirrors etc. he was slow, didn't show up, and the job took days longer than estimated. The assistant scrunched up a set of curtains that wrinkled them causing us to have to get them dry cleaned. The main painter was good but there was no way he could finish a job on a 3000 sq foot house in the time promised. About a week after the job was done I submitted a letter setting forth my concerns to management and never received a response. When our house was sold the inspector noted that the door bell transformer was painted over and constituted a safety hazard. I brought this to the painting company's attention and once again they never responded

Absolutely better than expected. The crew gave us excellent suggestions and we are so happy with the finished product. Two other neighbors used this same company because our paint job went so well and looked so good. Would never use another painting company, thank you.

His workers were neat and fastidious. They were willing to go around and redo areas that needed some extra tlc. We had them two tone the dining room and insets for a built in, in the family room.

They matched the paint incredibly well and blended it into the old paint.

They provided a consultation with a Sherwin Williams color specialist, which was a big help. They were prompt and courteous. There was some confusion at the start of the job, but a supervisor came to the house and resolved the issue. He send two excellent painters, Juan and Octavio. Although the contract allowed them to spray the ceilings, Juan took the time to roll them. They cleaned up each day and checked with me at the end of the project to verify that I was satisfied. They also had to move a large L Shaped desk and reassemble it at the end.

Great work. Very professional. Excellent pricing. Would call again in a second if the need ever arose for more paint work or exterior repairs

Light spraying, poor taping, didn’t follow customer request. Didn’t even do what sales sold me. Very disappointed. When requested to come back after owner of AZ paint inspection. Continue to be no shows after 3 didn’t appointment made. Still have not finished the job. Would not recommend poor customer service.

AAA+++ I am more than satisfied. I am a perfectionist and my crew was also. I could not have ask for a better job than what they gave me. Always on time. Great clean up. They weren’t the cheapest as a matter of fact they had the highest bid. I just had a feel with them that I would get what I paid for. I love the job and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I had called Doug to come out and give us quotes on painting our sports complex and he came out and 2 days later the work was perfromed. The paint crew he sent out was informative and very understanding of some our expectations we have at our school. Mike and his crew did a great job and at the beginning was told it would probably be a 3 day job, they started on Monday morning and were finished with the job Tuesday afternoon. I was concerned with matching the paint correctly but Mike and his did just that and matched it!! We have more painting to do and will definitely call Doug again and request Mike and his crew back out. Thank You Doug and Arizona Painting Compnay LLC
