Arizona Painting Company

Frankly, I am extremely surprised at how many positive reviews this company has after my own experience. Our story actually starts with our home purchase. During our home inspection, both our inspector and our realtor commented on how poorly the home's exterior had been painted. We knew it had been done more recently, but didn't know which company was responsible. The interior was painted very off putting colors and we wanted to have it painted right away. We had the Arizona Painting Company give us a bid. The gal who came out was very pleasant and we were happy with the price we were given. She was very responsive to my emails, etc, so that paired with the reviews, we felt comfortable. Before we finalized the painting job, I found paperwork showing that Arizona Painting Company had painted our home's exterior (away went my comfort about hiring them to do the interior). Joe Campbell's card was attached and so I gave him a call to express the concerns we had about the exterior paint job. He seemed a bit annoyed at my phone call and stated he had already been out to the house a few additional times at the request of the previous owner for issues. Since it had been less than a year since the home had been painted, he agreed to send someone out to address the issues. Bob came out and was really nice, though I am not a professional painter nor have I had any experience with exterior painting. I had others tell me the company did not properly seal seams, etc during the initial and follow up visits. Arizona Painting Company felt they had finished the job appropriately. So, one might imagine my extreme trepidation in having them paint our interior. Despite my misgivings, we did hire them and were on their schedule for about a month, paid our deposit, and were confirmed for our appointment (they called Friday to confirm our Monday appointment). The Monday morning appointment time came and went with no one showing up. I called the office and they said the painters were on their way. Another 30 minutes and still no one had showed. Another phone call to the office told me they would call and check on their status and have someone call me. I had to call again and still got no answer as to where the painters were. Finally, Brian called and said there was some mistake and NO ONE would be coming! I had been on the schedule for a month, had a confirmation call, and taken off work for two days (their estimate of how long it would take to complete). Brian wanted to send out someone the next day...but there would be NO guarantee as to when they would be able to come back and actually complete the job!!! No thanks! I cannot even begin to tell you how angry this situation made me, but after their poor job of painting the exterior and some "Yelp" reviews, I feel we were probably saved from yet another mediocre paint job. We ended up hiring another company who met Arizona Painting Company's price and we are very happy we did!

It was great. We were a little late but it didn't matter because Rebecca waited for us. She was very nice. We have a wedding coming up and all of the other painting companies said they were booked out for 6 weeks. But seeing our problem, Becca jumped in and squeezed us in when no one else would. We are getting our house painted 2 weeks before the wedding! She is a life saver! And the company looks very reputable! They are an "A" on Angie's List! Looking forward to seeing how everything turns out!

Great job. Rock and gravel was pulled away from foundation before pressure washing and replaced after painting. Guys were courteous and answered our questions. Job took 3 days to complete.

They showed up late, said they got wrong paint. Estimator said it would take 1 day, painter said 2-3 days. Company put pressure on painter to finish early and the end of the job got sloppy. Company made the painter come and clean up mess on his day off, I blame the company for pressuring the painters to hurry up and cram as many jobs as possible. You get what you pay for, I should have suspected more with such a low bid.

From estimate to finish a quality, professional job. Mike and Luis were a pleasure to have working on our home. there were a couple of issues that were addressed immediately. By A2 painting co for complete satisfaction. On any job things can happen. How they are resolved is a true test of the integrity of a firm.

The sales person was excellent and the price was competitive. I had multiple crews between the two homes and some crews were better than others. They did take care of all issues raised during the job and overall, I am pleased with both homes. My only constructive feedback is to improve communication from the office to the crew and from crew to crew. Also, better housekeeping during and after the job.

The job went great, from beginning to end. I called for a quote and they came with in a day or so, they I hired them and was able to start the next week, in 2 and 1/2 days they were finished and they did a great job. I was so worried about them dripping paint on the brick body of the house, but they did an excellent job of prep work. They got no paint on the brick. They covered everything. Then paint job looks so nice. I am very, very, pleased with the whole job.

I was very pleased, everyone up the chain was very professional and likable. I was quoted a fair price and got an Angie's List discount. If you are considering a painting project you owe it yourself to at least let this company bid on it. Everyone was prompt and complete. Thanks AZ Paint.

The painters, David and Daniel, were polite, friendly, and very nice to have around the house. They were efficient and did a terrific job. Very careful, very respectful of everything in the house. We got to know them a little since they were here working for about 6 days, and that part of it was nice too. I would definitely recommend the company and in particular this team to friends.

They did an outstanding job. They were on time and on budget, the work crew was professional and easy to have around.

Overall it took a little longer than expected due to some rain and only 1 painter, but was very happy with the service provided. The painter was punctual, communicated about what was going on (weather, days to do list, etc.), inquired and asked for feedback on how things were progressing, and was exceptionally professional. Very pleased with service and outcome. If going with this company for your painting needs, ask for Luis Moreno as your lead painter.

The job was completed in two days with two painters. As for the job, everything from the prep work to the cleanup was done to my satisfaction. The administrative staff was polite and flexible, the estimator was punctual and honest, and the crew was professional and efficient. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family.

TWO MAN CREW WORKED HARD TO REPAIR ANY COSMETIC ISSUES ON THE HOUSE, (THERE WAS A LOT OF THAT, OLD HOUSE), AS THEY WORKED, WE NEVER HEARD ANY NEGATIVE TONES, THERE WAS SINGING AND GOOD NATURED CONVERSATIONS. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME EVERY DAY, AND THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED UP ON THANKSGIVING, WHEN WE ASKED WHY, THEY STATED THAT THEY WANTED TO FINISH THE HOUSE FOR US, IT WAS COMPLETED THE FRIDAY AFTER THANKSGIVING! GREAT GUYS!! SUPERVISORS SHOWED UP TO CHECK ON PROGRESS AND TO ASK IF WE HAD ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW WONDERFUL THIS HOUSE LOOKS!! PEOPLE PASSING BY SLOW DOWN TO ADMIRE IT! THESE GUYS DID SUCH A GOOD JOB, TWO OF OUR NEIGHBORS HIRED THEM TO PAINT THEIR HOMES TOO, AND THOSE HOUSES LOOK GREAT TOO!! (not as good as ours though LOL ;-) )

We invited personal assessments and bids from three top companies on Angie's List. At first, we were only going to have the wood trim and siding prepped and painted in order to keep costs low. But when the estimator from AZ Painting pointed out that doing the entire house would only be a few hundred more (including added value items like waterproof sealing), we went for the total job. And wow, did they deliver! We paid half the bid as an advance upon signing the contract. The estimator left us with a checklist of things we were advised to do prior to the crew arriving several days later, such as moving the patio furniture into the open yard, removing all decorations hanging on the trim or walls, and pruning landscape about a foot away from the walls so they could access all the painted surfaces roof to ground, which we did. The crew of two arrived when promised and did a walk around with us as we pointed out areas of particular concern. They were incredibly efficient and thorough as they moved through each step of the prep, including very secure masking of windows and doors and selective respackling of outdoor ceiling areas. About 5 hours later, they began to apply paint to all the stucco and brick. They finished up late afternoon and returned early the next morning. They remasked and completed the wood trim/siding, garage and entry doors by late morning; then remasked and painted the two ceilings in the covered portico entry and back patio. They were finished by mid-day and able to remove the masking and clean up. We did an inspection walk around together and they made little touchups here and there according to our wishes. Satisfied, we wrote a check for the balance due. As I was inspecting later in the day, I noticed quite a few things I had to clean up, such as multiple drips on the patio and concrete walkway surfaces. Also spotted dried drips on the front door itself that I will later try to sand down and touch up. They all happened on the second day and looks like they got in a bit of a hurry to finish up. Overall, we were so impressed with the other 99.9% that I wrote it off to a tiny nuisance but I did rate them a B on professionalism while all other categories were big-time A's. We can't say enough about the integrity of everyone involved in the process. These tradesmen have decades of experience and have refined their operations to an artful science. They use top quality products and tools and are very personable and friendly. This is a tightly and well-managed company from top to bottom, displaying full respect for customers at every stage. Considering all that, we were shocked at how competitive their prices were. We got way more than we were expecting at every level. We feel like this is the best money we've ever spent on our home.

The project went off without a hitch. Joe came over to confirm the colors of the paint and what ares we wanted to be painted a week before they were to start. we had a little hick-up with the scheduling but that was over come very quickly and professionally by Joe Campbell. Overall the house looks great and we are already receiving compliments from our friends and neighbors. I would use them again.for any other painting project I might have in the future.

It was fine. We had no problems. The job was completed in less than week. Their cleanup was fine.

Overall, they were good. The job ended up being more complicated because it seemed they just had to keep making more runs for paint so that would slow them down. The pricing was comparable.

They were good. The painter was very pleasant. We asked for touch ups and another coat and they were very happy to do it for no additional fees. They were easy work with.

It turned out pretty good. The service was good except for one thing. The first time when they touched up one of the rooms, when it dried it was a slightly different color. They came back a few days later and fixed it. They re-painted the room.

We had a great experience with AZ Painting Co. Placed call to company interested in having house painted. We were planning to list our house for sell and it needed to be painted before we did. Called to make an appointment for an estimate and they had an sales consultant out for estimate that day. He gave us a very detailed written estimate before he finished. The team they sent out to do the job were on time, communicated to us what they were going to do and how long it would take them. Very professional team. Would be happy to recommend to anyone. Pam A.
