Northstar Services Clothes Dryer Vent Cleaning

Went above and beyond anything I expected and explained why he did what he did. I was very impressed with him! Unfortunately, I'm not sure of the service date. It's been more than two years. I am disappointed he did not offer his services again.

WHEN MATT ARRIVED, HE FIRST EXPLAINED HOW HE WAS GOING TO PERFORM THE JOBS REQUIRED. AFTER MY PUPPY INTRODUCED HERSELF, HE GOT TO WORK. HE SAID HE WOULD CLEAN OUT ALL THE PIPES?(MY WORD) AND THE LINT TRAP IN MY DRYER. THEN HE HAD TO CHECK ON THE EXTENDED PIPE ON THE ROOF. HE MIGHT HAVE TO GO ON THE ROOF, IF REQUIRED. TURNED OUT IT WASN'T NEEDED. HE THEN CLEANED AND VACUUMED THE AREA AROUND AND UNDER THE DRYER. HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB. I WAS VERY PLEASED. THANKS AGAIN MATT.

Matthew arrived right on time & began work immediately. He was focused, quiet & detailed. He explained his process & may have been here even longer than he planned. Dryer is working much better, we thank Matthew!

Matt is the best/most dedicated dryer vent cleaner I have come across. He takes passion and pride in his work and does an excellent job. On top of this he is half the price of any other company I have used and did much better work. I will never use another company again.

It went very well. Matt was thorough and didn't stop work until the vent was clean. He gave me updates as to what he was doing throughout the process. It took well over four hours to get the vent unclogged, but Matt finished the job.

Matt Brown was probably the nicest man I have met in a very long time. He was courteous, and he took his time and while doing his work he explained what he was doing. (I appreciated that too. He showed me how to clean out the dryer after taking out the filter. he gets an A+ from me.

I was impressed with how much attention to detail there was in performing the work. He asked if he needed to wear shoe covers before entering the home. He kept everything clean. He explained in detail the work being performed. He showed me the build up in the vent pipe and how clean it was after. Overall a superb job.

I was at work and my husband was home during the cleaning process. He reported that the operator did an excellent job of cleaning. He was there a good three hours and very, very thorough - he even found an earring and sock in the vent! I'm extremely pleased with the service.

He did a great job. He was beyond thorough, and very helpful. He was skinny enough and agile enough to where he could put the dryer almost all the way back after he had positioned the vent hose -- he even climbed out from behind the dryer, which I was impressed with!

Matthew responded to our request for service promptly, arrived on time. He was a bit hesitant to place his ladder on our gutters fearing he might damage them. We granted him permission to put the ladder where it was most convenient for him to service the vent. Within just a few minutes, he came down from the roof and stated that there was no charge because the vent did not need cleaning. It is so very refreshing to know that there are still honest people who do not take advantage of their customers. I only wish there was a higher rating than an "A" for this company!

It went perfectly. Matthew came in and cleaned out my dryer vent. Because it vents thru the roof, he had to go up there to get to it to run the equipment down from the top. I have a tile roof and he actually crawled on it to keep from cracking any of the tiles. He explained to me in detail about his equipment and how it worked, and even showed me what came out of my vent. He also re positioned my dryer so that the back venting would work at maximum capacity. I can tell you that after he left, I did a load of towels, and instead of the almost 2 hours it was taking to dry them, they were done in 30 minutes. What a difference this made. He is very kind and did a wonderful job. Matthew is the ultimate professional, and really knows what he was doing. He was here several hours doing the job, so it wasn't a quick in and out service, he is fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone. I will be using him again in the future. He told me that since I am a widow and the kids are gone, and I don't do much laundry (compared to when I had kids in the house, and my husbands clothes as well) that I could get by with a cleaning every 2-3 years, unlike those that should have it done once a year (for heavy users). It will save your dryer, and keep it running longer, as well as keep it from burning out a heating element. Thanks Matthew for a wonderful job !!!

Matthew was so thorough in cleaning the dryer vent. He was here at least 2 hours. He showed us all the lint he retrieved from the vent, saving us from a future fire I am sure!

Arrived on time (Matt, the owner) and worked diligently for several hours - put down drop cloths and cleaned up everything very well.
