Northstar Services Clothes Dryer Vent Cleaning

Very happy with the service provided. He was very responsive and was able to squeeze us into the schedule at the last minute. Our Dryer had stopped working due to the amount of lint build up so we needed service quickly. He did not cut any corners even though I'm sure the job took much longer than he had anticipated. He was very professional and took time to explain everything to me. We would use this service again.

The service provider was unable to do the job, he suggested I call Angie's List and get a refund.

The technician examined dryer duct to roof and determined that our heating/ac unit was mounted directly on top of the opening and he could not clean from the top - he explained that this is a real fire hazard and I was so happy he alerted us. He offered to refund our money, but I told him to keep it as the information he gave us was indeed worth his time and effort plus he cleaned what he could from the bottom of the vent and in the dryer. We immediately called our AC installer and they quickly came and cut off the cap on the top of the vent and used a long vacuum hose to clean our the duct.

Matthew from Northstar was excellent in cleaning up the dryer vent. The whole job took 3 hours as there was a lot of lint, it was hard work. He kept us informed at all times, showed us pictures of how it looked, and was very professional. And all for $69. We were very impressed with his work ethic and timeliness. He even sent a picture of him to us so that we knew beforehand who was showing up at our door !!! Certainly the right guy to hire.

We have not had him do the dryer vent cleaning yet. He was been very, very nice. We wanted to purchase the deal while it was available, but we weren’t ready to do the work yet. He has been very commutative, pleasant, and professional. He stays in contact with us and has been flexible to our needs.

Her was very informative, thorough, timely, and friendly. He went up on the roof to examine the cap, took pictures of the brush at the top of the roof vent and of the entire vent system. I'm very pleased with the service and will use him again.

HE SWEEPED THE DRYER LINT CONDUITS WITH AN ASSORTMENT OF SWEEPING TOOLS BUT DID NOT DO ANY KIND OF VACUUMING OF THE SWEEPED LINT CONDUIT AREAS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A MORE THOROUGH DRYER CLEANING JOB.CONSEQUENTLY, OUR DRYER IS STILL NOT DRYING OUR CLOTHING IN A SHORTER AMOUNT OF TIME ALTHOUGH IT WAS THOROUGHLY CHECKED BY OUR DRYER TECHNICIAN A DAY EARLIER FOR THERMOSTATIC HEAT PRODUCTION AT ALL LEVELS.

I am very pleased with the service Matthew provided. He was timely, courteous, informed me of what he was doing and what he found. He not only cleaned the dryer and vents but also cleaned under the washer. I recommend him for anyone requiring this service.

This was the first time I used Matthew for dryer vent cleaning and he did a terrific job. He took pictures of the roof vent and checked the air flow before and after the cleaning. It was amazing how much lint had accumulated since the last cleaning. My clothes are dying so much faster now. Matthew arrived promptly and thoroughly inspected and cleaned the dryer, vent, and roof area. He indicated that the dryer vent was clean and suggested we submit a request for a refund, as that is his policy. But he spent at least 2 hours here and was so thorough that we are not asking for a refund. $69 was a very reasonable price to have someone come and check the venting system on the dryer. We would definitely use Matthew's service again. He provides a very quality service.

Matt was very thorough, conscientious, polite, and professional. Very open, friendly, and accommodating. Our dryer vent had not been cleaned for a long time and had a lot of lint trapped in it. He explained each step as he worked, and we could see how much lint he removed. We were very happy with his work and will definitely use him again.

he was excellent. he did me a favor and arrived a few days ahead of what was scheduled, as he completed another job early. he is a really nice guy and explained the process all the way through. He enjoys what he does, and I would definately recommend him to friends.

Great job! Matthew came on time - was able to work me in his schedule early. Examined the entire vent top to bottom, cleaned it and explained it all. Even repaired a tile on my roof for free.

Matt pulled out the dryer, disconnected the vent tube, thoroughly inspected everything for lint build-up and used various machines to clean the entire area. He was neat and professional.

Matt and Northstar Services are terrific. Matt was punctual, called to confirm his arrival time, and really did a superior job under difficult conditions. My laundry room is small with a front loading washer and dryer set in minimal space but he cleared over 30 years of built up dryer lint from my drier to my roof exhaust. He actually left the system better than what he found it and gave us some great tips for future upkeep. I would not hesitate to have Northstar back and will recommend Matt and his company to all my friends.

He came to clean dryer vent but found safety violations that need repair. He may have saved our lives. He cleaned the lint trap & tray & will return later to do the vent cleaning after the repairs. He was here over 6 hrs. & made a temporary vent hose to drag outside until the repairs are complete. He even got supplies home depot. He did not charge us for the extra time.

He did an excellent job and a very thourough job. He showed us the flap outside was stuck open and closed it. Now we know to watch for that in the future.
