We had a toilet that kept getting clogged and boy! When Mr Rooter came and took the toilet out did we see the problem!!! Tree roots! All around the pipe, under the toilet and out on the concrete pad! But Dave and Ken saved the day and did an excellent job of clearing the mess and fixing the problem. Would highly recommend them - very professional and very friendly.

It went longer than estimated which was a bit stressful, however Javier always made sure we had water at the end of each day! He was very professional and curtious!

Mr. Jeremiah Rogers arrived and proceeded to fix the problem. He had to cut a hole in the master bedroom to access the faucet, he repaired it, placed an access panel to cover the hole, he repaired a shower drain cover and sealed it down. He worked quickly and very efficiently, was very nice in that he kept me informed all through the process. He asked me to come and check as he moved through the repair and do a final check when he finished. He did a really good job for me.

1. Response time on a Saturday, no less, was very reasonable. Our Tech, Logan, turned out to be Super knowledgeable, explained everything in great detail, and so we felt comfortable with his suggestions and thoroughness. Because of our heavy Monsoon rains that day, we agreed to set up a 2nd appt. to dig and survey. 2. On Tues., July 25th, Logan called one of the Pumping company, and cleaned out the tank, as well as scoped the inlet and outlet piping. The inlet showed signs of "roots" interfering and damage. The outlet pipe was definitely damaged, with some sort of blockage to the leach field. We agreed the 3rd and hopefully last plan of attack was to dig down to the outlet pipe, expose and replace it, as well as expose the inlet pipe for replacement and cementing to avoid any more root invasion. Logan poured their BioChoiceES chemical into the tank, sealed the risers down, and replaced our ground cover, neat and clean. He also showed us and left us with an extra jug of the chemical so we could start a monthly plan of maintenance down all our sink drains. We are now awaiting the 3rd procedure to hopefully finalize our repair to the leach field, today or tomorrow, and according to the weather. (Est. $1,096.00)

Perfect, with a video inspection of the drain it was discovered that there was a large amount of greases adhering to the walls of the pipes. This was Hydro scrubbed and the drain is fast flowing.

I was planning on doing the job myself, but due to the size difference between the two water tanks, every fitting was larger than the original and new pipes needed to be soldered into place. Larger exhaust vents were also needed and the space for the water heater was very limited. Logan, the plumber from Mr Rooter, did a fantastic job and stuck with it until the job was done. It took over 12 hrs to complete. Logan was professional throughout and calmly overcame many obstacles during the install. The job was much more difficult than I had anticipated and I was glad I had a pro like Logan doing it. Service was very prompt as well. I called at 5 pm and Logan was at my house 15 minutes early at 7:45 am the next day. Well done.

Dustin and Jose were great. They found the problem in our septic system right away and gave me a firm quote to repair. I had them do the job the following day. They took pics of the exposed broken pipe and kept me informed throughout the job repair. They were very courteous and polite. I really liked when Jose came into my house wearing booties on his shoes. Shows that they care about my home. The job was completed in a professional manner and everything is back to normal. Memorial Day weekend 2017... 24/7 service without an overtime charge!!! Work was completed quickly by their technician who traveled 70 miles without a mileage charge! He (Jose) was a real people person who helped pass some required time before initiating the repair by playing a game of pool (he let me win...)

Why the bad rating? 1) Price - $2400 for 5 items by one plumber all done in one day – that’s $300/hr. 2) The membership that they sell you to ‘save’ you money. And then they convince you to upgrade the membership for more money. 3) None of the things done were the reason why Mr. Rooter was called. 4) Management who are only interested in justifyng the prices. My parents were having a problem with a toilet that had a chain constantly falling off. They called Mr Rooter. The chain problem was never fixed. Mr Rooter does a “free” plumbing checkup and of course, they find all kinds of needed repairs. Of the 5 things done, only two had documentation of a problem: 1) the pressure reducing valve in the main water line needed to be replaced because it wasn’t reducing the pressure. Okay, but that cost $453. 2) The kitchen faucet was defective, so the replacement (no brand you have ever heard of) and installation cost $480. Once again, a bit high. Then there are the undocumented problems that needed to be fixed: the temperature and pressure relief valve on the water heater. That cost $212. The cleaning out of the sewer line $717. Ridiculously high. It wasn’t plugged! Lastly 8 shut off valves on toilets and sinks were replaced for $438. Why? Who knows! They sell you a ‘membership’ to save you money in repairs. Apparently Silver membership wasn’t enough, since those prices don’t sound discounted. So they were convinced to upgrade to GOLD for $139/yr. And what do you get for that? The opportunity for them to sell you more plumbing services in the future. And if they did such a bang up job in addressing all your plumbing needs, why would you need services in the next year? Yes, my parents did approve the fixes. They are in their 90’s and don’t know much about plumbing. I have no documentation that shows they knew it would cost $2400. They were taken advantage of and despite giving Dustin at Mr Rooter an opportunity to resolve this, it wasn’t. He wouldn’t even refund the GOLD membership, even though I told him my parents would not be using their services again. I think this company is unethical in their practices. I asked another well rated plumbing company in the area for their prices for the 5 items done – price was estimated at $1300-1500. I don’t understand the reviews for this company. Yes, they showed up and presumably they did adequate work. But isn’t that what you expect? This company is a rip off! And when you are an unhappy customer, they only try to justify what they charge.

As always, the Mr. Rooter from Camp Verde, AZ is absolutely the best. Do not go anywhere else for your home systems, and that goes beyond plumbing. They will look after your whole home. In this project, we specifically asked for Jeremiah to do the job. He is personable, professional and totally honest in his assessments. Just get the best with Mr. Rooter.

The technician arrived exactly on time, his work was perfect and we are 100% satisfied. The technician, Jeremiah, is one of the most professional plumbers we have ever had in the 24 homes we have owned. I would ask for him by name when I call Mr. Rooter the next time.
