"Hired to replace a failed AC unit. They only installed new units where they also sealed the ductwork, which added around $2500 to price. Their bid was the highest we received, but seemed like the quality/effort they put into it would be worth it. Just over two years later, however, the unit is leaking, and when I called, they said it was out of warranty and to "have just any other company go and fix it". I was shocked. We paid a premium, expected better service, frankly. Andrew is a great sales person, a bit high pressure, but it's obviously effective: I bit. He pitches a purportedly superior product and better installation. However, had I gone with a cheaper alternative (saving $6k-9k), that would've easily covered any repairs from another provider. Simply too much money and overrated for what you actually get. After installation of the new unit, I did not see any savings on my monthly utility bill over time."

"They offered a $59 inspection. My elderly parents(83 & 87) needed duct cleaning. The technicians inspected and came up with $7,000 in services needed. They didn't produce an itemized quote(said they couldn't connect to their online system). But without any written quote they got online and had my parents sign for a $7,000 loan with Ally Lending. A few hours later we called Ally Lending to cancel the loan and were told we would need to file a dispute. We then called Superior who said they would cancel the work order(still no quotes sent to us). But 2 days later when we called the lender... it had not been cancelled and we were again told we would need to file a dispute. I informed the lender that we were in Arizona and had a legal right to cancel the loan within 3 days. They didn't know this and had to look it up. We're still waiting for confirmation that the loan has been cancelled. Superior sent us an email saying they would cancel the work order. The email was unsigned. And this still does not negate the fact that they got my elderly parents to sign for a $7,000 /10 yr/9.99% loan without ever showing them any itemized quote. The salesperson sat at their kitchen table and told them the payments would only be $100 per month(for 10yrs). Congratulations Superior One Hour Air... YOU'RE THE BAD GUYS."

"Orangutan has not only lack of basic 101 customer service but also buys cheap AC capacitors made in China (you can buy it $10 from Amazon) and charge over $350 for capacitor replacement. Worst part, they don’t give warranty unlike other companies who give 1 year warranty. My capacitor blew out less than a year. Especially answering service staff, Sherry gave me a conflicting information. Tried to file a complaint but manager, Kim did not call back for 2 days. They don’t bother to intervene and have been ignorant. NOT worth to use Orangutan"
