Richard was excellent to deal with. He could have EASILY only offered the expensive repair option, but he gave us choices AND gave his experienced advice, which did come with no guarantees. Still, he offered advice. I feel so lucky to have found the company through Angie's List. The A is a justly deserved garde! Thank you Richard.

Difficulty of task, low, it was really fast easy job for them once the parts arrived.They had to special order them but not an issue for me. They were on time and gave me a 10 percent discount for angie's list member.Employee was professional and pleasant.

Service call availability was very good, arrived on time. Took time to verify correct problem and solve. Provided options. Allowed me a day to consider options, made repair. Provided good, descriptive invoice. Cost of part was marked up significantly. Total cost included labor and the trip cost was waived as promised. Nice to deal with. I called and left a message on a Sunday. My phone call was immediately returned and they came out the next day. In less than 30 minutes my dryer was fixed and back on track. This was the day before Christmas Eve!!!!! Wonderful service, extremely helpful technician. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely use again -- hope its not for awhile, but you never know. Its just nice to know you can get help when you need it.

He found the problem and corrected it. We have used Appliance Pros in the past and have very satisfied with them. We will definitely use them for any appliance problems.

Was suggested we keep it as is, unless it duplicates the issue again. If so, could be a bad transmission or motor. But for now, all is well. Just had to pay service call fee, which I knew upfront. The technician was totally honest and professional, giving me as much info as he could relating to the problem, but not wanting to overcharge for a part order if we couldn't reproduce the problem. it's been several months, and still no issue.

A good experience from beginning to end. They new the problem, made the repairs as he recommended, unit has been working great ever since. Great personality and VERY honest about repairs ( almost talked us out of fixing our washer due to it's age) I would rate them a 12 if possible!

I had called Friday night and asked for a Saturday appointment because I didn't want my clothes to get moldy. They apologized (a lot) because they had too many refrigerator calls on Saturday, but they came out first thing on Monday. (And apologized again.) He corrected the problem immediately. He explained what had happened, and was very professional and polite. I will call Appliance Pros for every appliance problem I have. Excellent company!

I called them in the evening because our dishwasher had leaked for the second time in 6 months. I was able to get an appointment for the next afternoon. Richard Black was right on time, reviewed the situation, and said that it was probably an incidental situation that installing new seals probably would not fix. I appreciated his honesty; he could've installed new seals, and it might not have leaked for another 6 months. I willingly paid the service call fee, because he was here almost an hour, and I would call them again if we had another problem.

There was nothing he could do. The machine needed to be leveled but he couldn't help us. We fixed it ourselves.

This is the second time I've called this provider for the same type of situation: an appliance that stopped working. The first time was for my refrigerator and this time for my microwave. In both instances, the tech asked a lot of questions, did some "poking and prodding" (not on me, but on the appliance in question) and gave me the bad news. In both instances, the turn around time (from my call to arrival at my home) was within the hour. He was very professional and I thought thorough. I would definitely call on them again.

RICHARD FROM APPLIANCE PROS ARRIVED ON THE SCHEDULED DATE AND TIME TO REPAIR MY REFRIGERATOR. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH IN FINDING THE PROBLEM WITH THE ICE AND WATER DISPENSER. I HAD RECENTLY PURCHASE A NEW HOME AND THE APPLIANCES WERE ALREADY THERE. I HAD NO IDEA WHY THE DISPENSER HAD STOPPED WORKING. AN HOUR LATER AND I HAD ICE WATER AND ICE!!!! I paid $50 for a technician who received over 10 phone calls from their office while attempting to diagnose what was wrong with my refrigerator and dishwasher. Estimates of $249 and $349 to come back and complete the work on dishwasher and refrigerator. No estimate on stove vent being fixed. He was polite but certainly didn't fix anything on this visit and wants to return for a great deal more money. I found one of the parts to repair at the online Fisher Paykal site for $31. This company wants to charge me $249 parts and labor to put in a $31 part??? I have called another appliance repair company to come tomorrow and described the problem. This technician received on phone call from his company to remind me to give a good recommendation on Angie's list. I felt like I was "one of THOSE..." customers...who might complain...on Angie's list! I've never used Angie's list for anything before and am very dissatisfied at this point. I still have 3 broken appliance, have arranged for another repairman to come out and another service call cost, when I told what was wrong and still it wasn't fixed or they didnt' bring any parts. My coupon only applied to ONE appliance, by the way. So I paid $22. online for a coupon for nothing. I was not going to fill out the survey because this is a PHENOMENAL waste of my time and resources just applying to Angie's list, getting a call set up, and waiting all day for repairman to show up at 3 o'clock. I could have saved 8 hours just picking up the phone in the beginning. Since I have received REPEATED emails to rate this service call, I am doing so. I just want to forget the entire experience. I do NOT want to hear from them, I only want my appliances fixed and no more wasted time waiting for repair technicians.

I went from no water and ice to a fully functional refrigerator water outlet and ice maker. The job was done efficiently and to my satisfaction.

Truly home town service from a family owned business. Richard, I want to personally thank you for your prompt and honest service. My wife is already on the phone telling the neighbors about you! It is very reassuring to find a man with valves in this confused world we live in. Your diagnosis on our clothes dryer was correct and the price was more than fair. The extra time you spent explaining the problem to my wife was greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

This was our first experience with Angie's List and Appliance Pros. The dryer quit heating, we called Appliance Pros the next morning and were told someone would be here to fix it between 12 and 2. Richard arrived closer to 12 than 2, diagnosed the problem and replaced the heating element in a timely manner. Richard was prompt, efficient, honest. We will use them the next time we need any appliance repairs.

He came on time and quickly evaluated the problem and gave me an estimate on the repair cost.

When I called, it was after hours, however we got a call right back. Richard came the next morning...told us what the problem was...ordered the part and told us when it would be in and when he would be back to install it. The part came in sooner than planned and he came right away and installed it. He was very professional,very knowledgeable, and very punctual. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them highly!

My daughter noticed a pool of water all over the floor coming from her fridge. She inspected the problem and noticed that the freezer was defrosting the food and the fridge side seemed a bit warm. She called Appliance Pros and they came out that day. Richard quickly assessed the situation and determined that the compressor was not turning on. The repair that was needed was a new main computer control. He had the part on the truck and said he could fix it right then and there. She agreed and within a few minutes of installing the new part, the fridge and the freezer were back in action. I would like to mention also that she has used this company previously to fix her front loading washer. They are excellent, prompt, courteous and very honest. She will definitely continue to use them again in the future and refer to all she knows!

Richard Black is the technician that worked on the washer. He advised me about the construction of the washer & how the computer is mounted on the motor which causes the computer to have issues. As I was not in favor of spending close to the same amount on the washer as I spent to purchase it, I opted for no service. Richard showed me where the reset button was to make the spin cycle operational but advised this is only a short term fix as will eventually die. I should have listened to my nephew (employed by GE) said not to buy their appliances. I went to my Consumer Reports magazine & GE is not even listed! I was very pleased with Richard's knowledge & professionalism.

dis-assemble=hThey answered the phone on a Sunday, but could not get there that day. They came on Monday, identified the problem and ordered the parts. The diagnosis was correct - rare with a Sub Zero problem. After the parts arrived they fitted them and the job took longer than anticipated but they did not ask for more money. The problem is fixed.

Excellent service, very nice man and even helped us clean the space. Very happy with service.

I called Appliance Pros after reading good reviews on Angie's List. The owner/operator was very prompt, punctual, polite and professional! That must be the four "P"s of home repair! Richard clearly explained the problem with each of my appliances, and offered possible solutions, including less expensive alternatives. I would definitely call him again for any appliance repair.

A techician named Richard Black performed the repairs to our washer and dryer. Richard gave us an estimate before undertaking any repairs, and the prices seemed reasonable. He performed the work quickly and well , and gave us a 10% Angie's List discount. I would highly recommend him to anyone needed such services.
