Chris came out and we went over everything and he gave us an estimate, he was very professional, we went over a number of options. Chris was very careful to make sure i understood the cost of everything so i wouldn't get into something beyond my means. Later on another gentleman came out and had it installed in about two or two and half hours.

Our heat pump was not cooling so we called Air Control to come out and check it out. The lady on the phone was very courteous and said they were booked up on the day we called, but could have a tech out the next day. The tech arrived as promised, vheck out the system and had it recharched and going in about an hour. The tech Johnnie seemed quite knowledgeable and informed us he had charged our unit about 18 months ago and that it must have a leak. He said he had put some dye in the system so in the future the leak could be found and repaired. We appreciated the prompt service and the extra attention paid to try to help with any future problem

Our experience was great! We were lucky and got same day service due to a cancellation in our area. So within a few hrs of my call we had a working unit again. Patrick was very nice, answered my questions straight up. Since our unit is 10 yrs old I know we will need a replacement someday and I wouldn't hesitate to call Air Control.

We called Air Control out as a second opinion for a bad evaporator coil and ended up using them due to a couple of reasons. One of the main reasons was price. They were able to replace the entire air handler unit for cheaper than the other company would replace just the evaporator coil. Second, both technicians that came out were extremely helpful and professional. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the one who replaced the unit but he was willing to answer all of my questions and explain the work that was being completed. He was also able to diagnose a leak that the other company said couldn't be fixed for cheaper than just replacing the outside unit, but they were able to do it for a couple hundred dollars. Johnny was the technician that came out for the second opinion and to install the piece on the outside unit and was also very helpful and willing to explain and answer all of my questions. We will be using Air Control again.

Their technician came to our house Christmas Eve day, when it was determined our 20-year-old furnace was a goner. Their sales person, Chris, appeared within an hour, and clearly explained our options. We then spoke to a competing heating and air provider, before deciding to go with Air Control. Chris contacted suppliers, and our new furnace was in place within two days after Christmas just as he said it would be. Found our air system was out on one side of house. Linked it to a problem with thermostat. Our system is under warranty.. Called air control and receptionist was very pleasant and referred us to technician right away. He had us trouble shoot from home. Still had trouble getting it to turn on. Because they were so backed up and because we could live with the other side of the house working we agreed to have someone come out the following day. A technician called to confirm when to come out the next day. Very professional and willing to accommodate our schedule. The technician who came out the next day was wonderful. He troubleshot every possible defect and found the problem to be some faulty wires at the main return. He fixed the issue right away and haven't had problems since. I was very impressed with our experience at this appointment. Call center was pleasant and technicians helpful in trying to fix problem over phone. If that doesn't work, they come out ASAP and get the job done. I would definitely recommend air control in future.

Great! Mike was the technician who came out. Professional and calm, he knew what to look for and what right for it. The system itself is 23 years old, and still working fine. It seems as though one of the fittings was not tightly put on the last time another AC company was used. He checked all the lines with equipment and explained what was happening as he went along. He did tell me that, at 23 years old, I should be cautious with the system. No high pressure sales pitch! Wahooo! A good honest appraisal of the system.

We were on compressor # 5 and instead of putting in a new compressor, they just put in a whole new system for us. They have been a good company and have stood behind their work. They have been in business for ever.

I set up an appointment with the office, and the technician called as promised about 20 minutes before arriving at the appointed time. The technician was very knowledgeable about air-conditioning and obviously enjoyed doing his work. He was very thorough in cleaning the compressor, checking its electrical connections, checking the "freon" level, etc. He spent a solid 45 minutes checking the external compressor unit and also the drains and coils on the furnace unit. He replaced wiring connections which were worn, and added one pound of "freon" to the unit. He paid attention to detail and was very systematic in his approach to making sure everything was done right. I felt very confident in his competence to do things right. The listed price on the "service" component was $59 (which was well worth it) with an additional $38 for freon.

The are very unresponsive to problems. The air conditioner is only two years old and is not working. Their response was that they will get there when they can and it might e six days. Originally left a request at their answering service. Did not get a call so I called again, They had no record of the first call. We do have a record your call at 7:10AM yesterday (Thursday) to the answering service. Our office starts processing and scheduling the calls at 7:30. We have someone on-call all night, but at 7:10 in the morning, while the on-call person is headed to the office, we know the office can handle that service. Let me say here that this is probably one of the two busiest weeks of the year for people in our business so it is hard to process calls quickly when everyone is answering the phone first thing in the morning. You called just a little while later and that was before we had finished processing all the calls and that is why they did not know about your call. It wasn’t in the system yet. You asked when we could do a service call and the person scheduling told the person you were talking to it would be Monday or Tuesday. He was apparently overwhelmed with over a 100 service calls to schedule. We always give priority to customers who we install or who have a maintenance agreement with us. The lady speaking with you immediately told the owner that you had called, what the scheduling person had said, and he called you back 10 minutes later to tell you that we would get you taken care of that day. You said you had gotten another company. We apologize for answer that you got, but we realized quickly that the scheduler was making a mistake and we did try to correct the situation. We wish you would have let us do the service you needed when our owner called you. We do everything we possibly can to take care of our customers and we know that no one tries harder than we do or does a better job 100% of the time.

A great gentleman, Chris, came out and looked over our place and gave an incredible quote on a great unit. They really went WAAAY out of their way to make sure we were taken very good care of at a price that was affordable for us. They ordered the equipment that day and were ready to get the job done the very next day! At 90 degrees we were very thankful for their lightning fast response to our need. The gentlemen they sent out MUST be the best in the business. Did an incredible job, completely professional, delightful to talk with. They had the job done in half the time we expected and it was done so well with even the tiniest detail given full attention. In my opinion there is no other HVAC company in Northwest Arkansas. You bet I will point to Air Control of Springdale, Arkansas every time I hear of a friend or relative or even total stranger in need of service or installation. Integrity is the most important thing and they have the market cornered indeed!

We called company to make appointment for quote. Rep came out even though it was after normal hours. Chris sat down and explained each of the options we requested. He was professional and thorough and answered all of our questions. We asked that he give us a few days to weigh the options. We called back and had a few more questions and he returned our call promptly with the information we needed to make our decision. After we decided what we wanted done, they set up an appointment for first thing in the morning on the day we chose. That morning, the installation crew of 2 showed up right on time. They introduced themselves, and went straight to work. They first removed all of the old equipment, and then replaced it with the new Lennox A/C and high efficiency Furnace we wanted. The crew worked quickly, quietly, and in a very professional manner. I asked a couple of questions while they were working and they took the time to answer my questions completely . After the installation was complete, they quickly cleaned up all of their boxes and the old components. They were completely finished by mid afternoon and took the time to show me the components, give me all of the paperwork, and walk me thru the the settings before leaving. Part of the reason I chose this company was because of the great ratings given to them by other customers. My impression is that this a reputable, reliable company who goes the extra mile to take care of their customers and I would use them again in the future.

We decided to go with Air Control because it was rated so highly on Angie's List. However we never were quoted by any other company so we just assumed that they would be comparable to other companies. We were having trouble with our existing heat pumps (we have two for our house). We called them up to perform a service call to see what might be wrong with our units. After a service man came out he reccommended that we think about replacing the units. He said that because our existing units were 12 and 14 years old that they just wouldn't be worth replacing the parts since we would only probably get another couple of years out of them. So we paid $162 to be told that information and that they would schedule a time for a Product Specialist to come out and show us what they currently have on the market and what they would suggest we replace them with. The specialist recommended we go with the top of the line Lennox heat pumps and air handlers. The overall estimated cost for installation and parts would be just over $13,000. Although we were told that we would get up to $2,200 back in Lennox rebates. (He said that their office handles all of the warranty registration and rebate sign up so that the customer doesn't have to worry about that). Their installers were punctual and called to let us know when they would be arriving which we appreciated. It took two days to install which was reasonable. When the installer gave me the paperwork to sign before he left on the the last day he said that it is easy to sign up for the Lennox warrenty and rebate offer online and that they are no longer doing that at the office because they don't want to take any personal information as a third party. So I simply accepted that and that afternoon I went online to register for the warranty and rebate offer. (I had about a week to do this from what I was told). Having to enter in all the warrenty info was not so bad but when it came to the rebate portion it wasn't as easy as they made it sound. (The online system didn't recognize that I had purchased 2 units and it was only giving me a total for 1 unit!) So I had to call in and try to speak to someone live about this. She said that their systems were down and that she would have to talk to a manager and get back to me, which they never did. Finally over the course of about a week and a half after pursuing the company to get the problem corrected about 5 times, I was finally told that me rebate would be $2,200. I was given a 4-6 week parameter for it to process and for a check to be sent to my address....which completely was different information than I was told by Air Control. There was no personal bank information or anything like that so Air Control should have handled this for me. It would appear that the office just doesn't want to handle those details for the customers anymore. But I think after spending $13,000 for the units, they would gladly perform this service for less headache for the customer. It has been over 6 weeks and we have not received any rebate as of yet. We have begun to get frustrated with this situation. I would really like to try another company next time but our warrenty is with Air Control and they are the authorized retailer to perform any labor and parts for our units for the next 10 years. Regarding the service. There is one particular service man for our area that they use, who although is polite, he is not a good communicator. To explain in a nutshell, he is timid and shy in his personality and has a hard time clearly explaining his suggestions, or what tasks he will be performing. For example not even a week went by since we had our new units installed and our brand new touch screen thermostat "ihome" just stopped working. It apparently went dead for no reason. When we called to have the service man come out and look at it he told us that it just died. He replaced it with a used, older version thermostat that he said he had in stock from the warehouse. When my husband asked if we would be getting another ihome model (the one that we paid for), he couldn't simply say, "of course...I just will need to order it. This is all we had in stock". He hemmed and hawed and said that this was all they had right now. He was terribly confusing and wasn't clear that this was just a temporary thermostat. Finally my husband was able to get out of him that he would call us when the new thermostat came in and he would have to come back and install the replacement. This is just one example of what it was like to deal with this service man. Lastly, the location that they placed one of the new heat pumps has been giving us terrible problems with the blade icing up and making loud sounds in snowy, icy weather. We have to turn the unit off because it beeps at us and runs like a unbalanced washing machine when it has an overly heavy load. Apparently the location of the machine is susceptible to heavy icing over in inclement weather. The same service man came out and looked at it and said that when the "icing up" happens not to worry because it won't hurt the machine. That it is meant to be able to take the ice. I asked him what I should do when this happens. Am I to turn off the machine so I don't burn out the motor? What if we are out of town when this occurs? Will the machines automatically turn themselves off? He didn't give me any clear answer, all he said was that they are strong machines built to overcome such situations. This may be true but the machine does not automatically shut itself off when this happens. Eventually the blade does stop turning and makes an audible beeping sound which would appear that it is trying to tell US to shut it down. He NEVER SUGGESTED any ways to overcome this problem!! Which surprised me. We are certain that over time this will tax the unit unneccesarily and cause future problems. Even though it is under warranty we want to get the most use out of our expensive machines, obviously. So my husband decided that the only way to protect the machine is to make a slanted roof-like cover for it to prevent this situation from happening, which will fix the problem. It is just a shame that he had to be the one to come up with this idea and that Air Control in general was not useful in assisting us with preventing this hassel from re-occuring. Overall we were dissapointed with our experience with Air Contol. Actually we were shocked that we were not more impressed after they were given such a high rating on Angie's List. I think in general they are a fair company to deal with, and they are good about communicating when they will be arriving. I think because we have already experienced these three main hassels that I mentioned it just sours us a little to the company and prohibits us from giving it a higher rating.

Previous Heating and air estimate was for over $2,400. Previous company told my wife the 15 year old Trane Unit was old and was a Fire Hazard and was not safe to operate. He had my wife very concerned about our house and safety. This is why I Joined Angie's List, to see who they would recommend. Air Control had the highest rating on Angie's list Air Control was totally professional. He tested our old unit. Air Control replaced the outside relay switch., then He checked the exact locations that the previous tech said was a fire hazard and was unsafe to operate. All of Air controls tests showed everything was fine. He said if future problems arise to let him know. The unit has worked perfect since, When ever I have a future heating and air problems, or I need to replace my old unit, I will only use Air Control.
