I originally called Jeff Lotz plumbing to get an idea of what it would cost to have these items corrected. My husband sent him pics of the 2 facets. He said that the tub facet was old and needed replacing, plus since it has 3-handles, it would need to be replaced with a 1-handle facet and that would cost us $350 for the facet (wow!) and $350 for his labor plus whatever his tile man charged to tear-out the existing tile. He quoted $150 to replace the value on the shower. We then called Neighborhood Plumbers and once Leigh knew that we just purchased our home, she asked if we had a home warranty - which we did, so that saved us some money right off the top; since our deductible is $75. The plumber came out and told my husband that the tub facet (that Lotz was wanting to replace and tear out our tile) was actually a very well-made facet and would probably outlast our house. He was able to replace the guts of the tub facet, adjust the value on the shower and fix our leaky drain for a fraction of what Lotz Plumbing was going to charge us. Neighborhood Plumbing came back out the next day to re-connect our plumbing, sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher after having new countertops installed and they charged us $125 for this, which we thought was reasonable. I highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbing and we will use them again!

Larry and his crew with Neighborhood Plumbers are absolutely fantastic. We have used them for 10 years, in 6 different houses (including two rentals). We love Larry---he is personable, tells you everything you would ever need to know plus some, and is an all-around good guy with a positive attitude. All the other workers with NP have been hard workers and good people. We feel totally safe with Larry and have left our keys before for him to come in and do work when we weren't available. We have recommended the company to family and friends and have never heard a bad word...everyone has always been pleased. We cannot say enough good things about this company, which we just stumbled upon before Angie's List was popular!

Mr. Reno arrived on time, discussed the procedure with me and gave me the pros and cons of my decision to remove a garbage disposal and icemaker. He had to leave to get extra parts, but returned quickly. I felt his work was excellent and his fee was very reasonable I will definitely use Neighborhood Plumbers again.

Because the drain holes were in different places than the old sink he had to replace most of the pipes underneath. The new sink was very heavy (cast iron) and an assistant was needed to put it in place. The work was done very neatly and both Mr. Reno and his helper were extremely pleasant. His son has also done work for us in the past. Good company.

After some research I thought I had acquired the correct part to repair my kitchen faucet myself. Shortly after starting the job I realized I may have the part but not the tools and/or skills to do the job. I consulted Angie's List to find a plumber who could do the job. I liked what I read about Neighborhood Plumbers and gave them a call. The plumber, Larry, came by within 2 days of me calling him and arrived a few minutes early. Very friendly and personable and professional. After telling him what I wanted done and discussing a water pressure problem along with a marked slowdown in the amount of hot water coming from my kitchen faucet he went right to work. He quickly determined that the part I had would not fix the problem I was having. He suggested I contact the manufacturer of my faucet and see if they would replace my faucet under their warranty. He took the time to explain to me why my water pressure was not as good as it should be and what would be required to fix it. He asked me to call him back after I received the replacement parts and gave me an estimate of what it might cost to make the required repairs. He did not charge me anything for his time even though he was here at least 30 minutes. I was expecting a charge for a service call at least. I contacted the manufacturer of the faucet and they agreed to replace my old faucet under their warranty. I received the replacement parts and called Neighborhood Plumbers and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment Larry called me and advised me he was on his way. He arrived early for out appointment and went right to work. Still very friendly and professional. He did all the required repairs in approximately 2 1/2 hours and left me a happy guy. It is very refreshing to find a person that does what he says he will do quickly and for a reasonable and fair price. I highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbers and am sure I will contact them again should I have any other plumbing problems. I definitely will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

The water pressure at home was very low. After I read the reviews of Neighborhood Plumbers by other members, I decided to call them for this problem. David came out the next morning and after analyzing the situation, he diagnosed a faulty pressure regulator and gave me the estimate including digging. His price was very reasonable, and I approved. David took care of contacting somebody to come out to mark where the phone, gas, and water lines were. When David came back to do the work, he discovered that the pressure regulator was fairly new, but the water line was galvanized pipe and was rusted shot. He immediately notified me about it and gave me a new estimate to replace the line. His price was still very reasonable, even including what he had already done, so I agreed, and he came back the next day to replace the line after obtaining the permits required from the city. He completed all the work in about 4 hours, and the result was amazing. Not only was the pressure good but also was better than I remember since I moved in. David was very professional the whole time, communicating at every step, making sure that I knew and understood what was going on. The final cost of the job was exactly as estimated, and the work came with a 1-year warranty. I definitely recommend Neighborhood Plumbers and will be using them for my other plumbing needs.

The company was prompt in responding to my voicemail, set an appointment quickly, and graciously moved the appointment back a day when I requested. David showed up within the time scheduled, and tho I had expected just an estimate he was ready to work then. Got the immediate problem fixed in reasonable amount of time. He also explained the problem that could be causing the bathtub not to drain, the work and probable cost involved. We were pleased with the whole experience and will DEFINITELY call again when we are ready for the major work to be done. Also: love the Angie's List discount!

David came out on Wednesday afternoon to give us an estimate. After he gave us the estimate, my wife scheduled for him to come back out on Friday, after I was to get paid to do the job. He said O.K. On Friday afternoon, my wife had to call them when they did not show up on time. They did not have us on their schedule (someone didn't write it down), but they came right out. Did a good job and came out on Friday afternoon. The cost came in less than the estimate.

Called tuesday plumber, arrived wednesday Figured out problem right away. Gave me a very resonable price. Told him to go ahead and do it. Done approx. 45 minutes later. I paid him and he was on his way by the end of the hour. Very professional.

I needed Neighborhood Plumbing to come back to check something on the dishwasher after he had already installed it and he came back with no problems. He initially came out quickly and was very responsive. He's an extremely compassionate person and also knows his work. I mean, he really is very, very knowledgeable. He doesn't overcharge you. He doesn't come out here just to be looking at something to charge you. He charges you by the hour, when he actually does the work.

Larry and David were courteous and professional. Three visits to the house: one to establish problem and give job estimate, one to repair valve at my request, then both plumbers to repair biggest problem. They were careful to clean up after they were done and Larry even made sure to use his wet vac to suck up the water squishing up between the tiles!! I am thrilled to have found them!!

He examined the sink, disposal and drain. Determined he had to clean out the drain and replace the disposal unit. He did so quickly and efficiently. We asked him to check the faucets in the bath room, which he did, explaining that it was an old faucet which might need to be replaced if he started to work on it and it stuck. We decided not to have him work on it. Al in all he did a good job and related well to us.

They were really nice and did a good job. The price was reasonable. We are going to call them again to do more work. They also cleaned up their mess and I would recommend their service.

It was an awesome experience and I actually asked for some business cards so I could recommend Larry to some of my friends who have had trouble finding a reasonably priced, experienced plumber. Larry made sure you knew exactly what was going on and options to fix the problems.

I think I said it all in the previous block but because I have to write in this one too, I'm just rephrasing: He was a great plumer, professional, kind, etc..., He did the job in which we feel completely at peace with what he did. I would gladly recommend him to other people.

Called, he gave me a time he would be there, showed up, cleaned out the sewer line, then cleaned it out a couple of more times to make sure it was clear. Meantime, tenant noticed toilet was broken, so he installed the new one for me. Prompt, reasonable, a pleasure to do business with.
