We called our Home Warranty company who sent our order to Neighborhood Plumbers. While trying to light the pilot the thermocouple was broken off. When the plumber arrived he claimed he could not diagnose the water heater because of the broken thermocouple and told our home warranty not to cover the claim because he said we had broken the thermocouple. He also told us that our waterheater was too old to work on anyway and should just be replaced, but would not support our claim to the Warranty company so that they would cover the replacement. We will never use this company again, and will also be cancelling our home warranty with 2-10.

Excellent. I used Larry for some plumbing issues about 4 years ago. I had found him on Angie's List, back then, and he did a great job for me, at a very fair price. So, when I realized I needed a plumber, this time, I knew I was going to call Larry, at Neighborhood Plumbers. Larry answered the phone and I gave the details of what was wrong. He was going to be able to fit me in the next day, late afternoon. So, i was surprised when Larry called back a little later the same day I called to tell me he had finished a job early and it turned out he was only about 20 minutes from my house. He wanted to know if I wanted him to come over that day. Sure! That's beyond punctual! He's professional, pleasant, efficient, does excellent work, and charges a very fair price. I truly have nothing but good things to say about Larry.

Larry was extremely professional. He recommended several models that would perform better than what we had and even checked pricing for me while he was at Lowes. I purchased them and he picked them up for me and installed.Seemed very honest and trustworthy. Will definitely call him again or recommend to others.

He was really good about calling to notify you when he was heading to your job and keeping you informed on what he was doing and the progress on the job. Really nice and will be calling him if I have any more problems and recommending him to friends.

My 16 year old garbage disposal blew up and I needed to have it replaced quickly. I called in the morning, he gave me a quote over the phone, and by the afternoon my new disposal was installed. His rates were reasonable and you absolutely can't beat his responsiveness. Several other Angie's List advertisers didn't even bother to return a call.

the problem was further down the pipe than he had line for. he didn't charge us for the work he had done. very pleasant and told us what we needed. he bent over backwards to help us. we would certainly use him again.

It went amazing! Larry and one other man came and went in an hour. They were extremely professional, and they did try and push a sale. I will only use them for my plumbing needs in the future!

The associates called before arrival as requested, so I could get to the house from work to meet them. The guys from Neighborhood Plumbers were polite and professional. They answered all my questions thoroughly and understandably. The final bill was exactly the amount I was quoted to in advance, and $120 less that a quote I had received the week before from another company for the same work. I was completely satisfied with the whole experience.

Larry is an excellent plumber with a great work ethic. He called before he came out, he was very pleasant and personable, and made me feel very comfortable as he fixed everything with skill and efficiency. The price was very reasonable compared to the other plumber I was using. I will be calling Neighborhood Plumbers for any future plumbing needs I may have.

We called 2 other very reputable companies to the job before contacting Neighborhood Plumbers. Both of the other companies sent very green teams to our house. Both times those technicians spent most of their time in their trucks calling back to their respective headquarters trying to explain the problem and find a solution. Both of those companies came up with quotes of $3-4K which included digging up the front yard and replacing the water main. My wife decided to call one more company, Neighborhood Plumbers. The team that came to our house had 30+ years of experience. They were able to come up with several possible solutions that wouldn't require digging up our yard. In the end, they were able to repair the leak for a about $300. They were punctual and professional.

Went very smoothly. Was on time and took approximately the time that was estimated. Everything was explained to me in detail and there were no surprises.

I joined Angie's List to find a provider for this project. I had a crack in the bottom of my tub and needed to get it fixed or replaced. The reviews for Neighborhood Plumber were all good and my experience mirrored all the good things I read before contacting them. Larry was prompt in returning my query and came out to give me a free estimate. We discussed what could go wrong (might have to cut the wall to get it in the small space) and what to expect. He gave me good advice about deciding on the quality of materials and a cost and time estimate that was right on the money (low end of the estimate, even!) He offered to email me pictures of the tubs and surrounds available at the local big box stores and also price the same or better at his warehouse supplier. I got an itemized receipt for the exact materials, prices about $100 less for the total than what I had estimated at the local home supply store. We set a date (he was able to get me on the schedule within 7 days) and he and his helper arrived exactly when they said they would and got to work. Everything went just like we hoped. No wall cutting, no electrical issues (the panel for the house was very close to the back of the tub) and the only remaining issue is doing the minor drywall work around the surround edges and then painting. We talked beforehand and agreed that dealing with the drywall and quot;fixesand quot; would be a separate job for someone else. I am thrilled with the project. Talk about coming in on time and under budget. The total cost was exactly what he said the low end would be and they finished in one day, just like they were planning. They were careful to keep the mess contained and they cleaned up after themselves. I can highly recommend this plumber.

I was very pleased with them. My experience with them was great and I have no complaints at all. They did a fair amount of work for me. They were very honest, and they did what they said they were going to do at the right time. It's just all good things about them. Their price was very reasonable and I have no qualms about it at all. Their responsiveness and communication with regard to my needs were fine. I don't have anything bad to say about them. I have recommended them to some of my neighbors and I think they're going to use them too. I will surely use them again in the future.

I first made the appointment before XMAS to fix the faucet in the master bathroom bath tub. It was broken and the water couldn't be turned off. We had to prop the shower rod against it to stop the water flow. We had another leakage in another bathroom tub faucet that needed replacing. I was told it couldn't be fixed it had to be rebuilt and I was told if I bought the part the price would be reduced but if they bought it it would be higher. I took a picture of the hot/cold stem part and went to Lowe's with difficulty bought what I thought was the part. We had company coming for XMAS and on the day of the appointment nobody showed up. We had to call to see what was the hold up. They were backed up due to the weather and couldn't make it. A phone call would have been nice. We were told to call someone in Jacksonville .I didn't want to call a plumber in Jacksonville to do it they weren't on Angie's List you are. I spent $40.00 at Lowe's. We were disappointed. We had used them before and got better service. The work didn't get done, my company came and everyone had to use one bathroom down stairs After everyone left we waited until the weather was better and called them back to finish the job. I had gotten the wrong part so he had to come back. I admit he made several trips having to turn the water off, take the faucet apart, it didn't fit and put it back together and turning the water back on again. He made another appointment, getting the parts and replaced the whole faucets in both bathrooms. He had me get hot/cold stems but he replaced the whole faucets in both bathroom. I didn't expect that and it was better. I would use them again because they are EXCELLENT. The pricing was a little steep but I needed my bath tub. Lowe's gave me a refund for the hot/cold stems I bought.

After the holidays our water wasn't draining like it should and over the coarse of a few days we started having back flow problems into our shower. We have always had a handyman in the family until recently. So I always had someone to call who I trusted, but this time I didn't. I have always been worried that we would be financially taken advantage of. So I started doing my research and found Neighbor Hood Plummer called and was scheduled for an appointment almost a week later. Some coworkers of mine told me to find someone else who could come sooner, but with the ratings they had, I knew I could trust them. Once he came to our house to inspect our situation he gave us the bad news. Our main drain pipe had broken off where it bends to meet the underground pipe. The pipes that were connecting the broken pipe to the underground pipe were the wrong angle. The home builder used two 45 degree pipes making an S shape which was partly buried under ground under the house. He explained to me that it needed to slope down because you could not snake the pipe the full distance from either side of the overflow. And it needed to be dug up and replaced with the appropriate pipes, then the drain pipe would be repaired. But first they would have to clean up the sewage under the house. And when he finished he would spread lime to kill the smell. He was very clear and made sure I understood exactly what the problem was and took pictures to show me. He said it would take anywhere from a half a day to a full days work. When they came back to do the job, it took him only 4 hours and that included the time at the hardware store. I was impressed at the speed, the knowledge, and the professionalism of this company. And highly recommend them to anyone. They are now my plummer on hand!
