Description of Work: I had a leak into my kitchen ceiling from an upstairs bathroom. They found the leak and repaired it even though it required some extensive replumbing from the basement to the second story. They were VERY punctual- a real treat in the service business and very professional. The repair was handled in such a way as to do the least damage to the plaster walls and ceiling as possible. They were very good to try and clean up after themselves and to limit the destruction. The price was high but considering the extent of the work they did and the.severity of the problem and complexity of the solution it was In keeping with what one would expect to pay a firm of this quality. I would definitely recommend them. The office personnel who handled my calls and questions were extremely kind and helpful and always called me back with an answer to my question if they did not know the answer immediately.

Description of Work: We had water stains on the kitchen ceiling. A different plumbing firm had come out twice over the past few years. They said the old copper piping to the upstairs bathroom had developed small holes which leaked. Each time we called they repaired one bad spot, but the problem kept coming back along the length of the pipes. Every repair involved cutting out sheet rock and then having it replaced after the plumbing work was done, which is expensive and inconvenient. | |American Leak Detection diagnosed the problem and replaced that whole section of hot water pipes in a simpler arrangement using using modern piping. The cause of another water spot was removed by replacing the wax seal on the upstairs toilet. They also cleaned out the faucets which were partially stopped up by accumulation of decayed copper particles. I think the problems are truly fixed now, after years of worrying and incomplete repairs. The cost was reasonable. The plumbers were friendly, professional, neat, and willing to explain exactly what they did. We will definitely use this company again!
