AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION - LITTLE ROCK

I have a water leak in my main water line. My local plumber referred me to American Leak Detection. I called, made an appointment, and waited 3 weeks. The team showed up almost on time and were very polite and professional. The problem is they did NOT repair the leak. This team was only for detection. When I called the office, she said that she told me the $600 was for detection and the repair would be extra. I said I know the repair would depend on the problem, but I had expected a repair the same day. This miscommunication has put me without water for another week while I wait on a local plumber. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Once on scene they did a quick walk through and then began isolating possible areas until the leak was found in an outside faucet which was on a watering line and therefore no problem was visible. They then quickly fixed the issue and went over a couple of times to make sure that the problem was fixed. Professional - Knowledgeable- and Quick. The service is not cheap but then again an unknown water leak which you have no idea how to stop isn't either. This is my 2nd time to use them over the past 20 years. Hopefully will not need again anytime soon but same kind of problem and they are who I will be calling.

These guys were very professional found water leak that was coming from my hot water heater pipe that ran under my slab and fixed it with a reroute with pex pipe

They identified the location of the leak, as well as confirmed the location of all underground lines involved, which helped me decide how to proceed on the repair.

Matt and Dallas arrived at our home at the scheduled time, they were very polite and professional. Within twenty minutes they located a leak just outside our home. I was pleasantly surprised they did not try and push additional services on me. In fact, they said it would be a while before they could come out and fix the leak, and they recommended contacting another plumbing service. Overall, I greatly appreciate the service provided by American Leak Detection and I would recommend them.

The office staff was responsive and helpful. The crew that found the leak and the crew that performed the work all did a great job. They showed up on time and were up front with potential cost. The only negative was getting the estimate of the work and then getting some clarification of the estimate.

He checked all possible sources and determined it was in the pipes going to a return. He fixed the leak and then rechecked everything again to be sure there wasn't another leak. We had our contractor cut the concrete and repour the concrete after the repair.

Very professional. Another company told me it could not be done but they found a way to replace 50 year old faucets and left all the tile in place. Excellent and prompt.

Louis & Mike were our plumbers and they were WONDERFUL! Both were so kind and completely dedicated to fixing our plumbing MESS. They were honest, sincere, thorough and detailed in all of their explanations and subsequent repairs (which were MANY!). I would use them again in a heartbeat and have recommended them several times already. What a JOY to find old-fashioned customer service and people who actually ENJOY what they do ---> HELPING people! They made a dismal situation much easier to bear. "THANKS" does not begin to repay them for their service :)

I hired them to find a leak in my pool. Louis Martin was assigned to my job. He called and asked if he could come early to the appointment (pleasant suprise). When he and his assistant arrived they got right to work running diagnostic tests of the plumbing. When that found nothing he donnned scuba gear and soon found the leak (behind the pool light). Patched cleaned up and were out of there. Very professional, very pleasant - gave me his card to call with further issues. Could not reccomend more.

It took Josh and Tyler (helper) an hour to find the leak and another hour to fix it. They were very courteous and cleaned everything up before they left. Their standard charge is $350 for two hours, plus the cost of the parts. While that seems a bit high, most plumbers don't have the gear needed to find leaks that are not obvious, like ours.

The overall experience was very satisfactory. The leak was detected, fixed, and our swimming pool is now working properly. The cost was less than I had anticipated.

I really liked them. They are quick to get out to your home. They are very thorough. They are very personable. They give you a good estimate and stick to it. We had major plumbing problems, so we dealt with them for a long time. They were always good to work with. If there was some reason they could not come out, the office person, Crystal, was very personable and helpful. I used them for several months. I will use them again, if needed.

Had a leak in my main water line. Levi came out and found the leak, they charged $350 for this service. They actually found 2 leaks. Without digging down to the line they couldn't tell if they needed to replace the line or patch the leaks. They gave me an estimate of $2,200 for replacing the old line, about $500 if they could patch the two leaks (one at the house one at the meter). Of course it ended up that I had to replace the main line since it was blue poly, they replaced it with a plastic pipe that I was assured is a great substitute. They actually snaked the new line through the old one and the bill came in at $500 less than there estimate. They also put in a new regulator at the house that should come in handy. I'd had another estimate from a different company, and there quote was for $2,800. I called today and told them my water pressure was a bit low and they said they would have someone out to raise it a bit. Overall I would definitely recommend.

I called to schedule the leak detection. Talked with Crystal. Was give an price of $200 for residental leak detection. She said it would take approx. two hours. After the men came out and performed the service and found and fixed the leak I was presented with a bill for $350. I said I was told it would be $200 - why is is more? He said that is what they charge for leak detection. He called the office and came back in and said - It was $350. I called the office and Crystal answered the phone. She said - no I scheduled this appt and I told you it would be $350. She was really rude. I have my notes of when I called to schedule and I have written down $200. I remember thinking - Wow that is $100 an hour. The men that did the work were very nice and personable. But I feel I was severly over charged. I will not use them again nor will I recommend them.

Great - on time, worked quickly and pinpointed the leak, then marked the area. Water was even coming up out of one of the holes made by their tools. When I dug a hole in that spot, there was the leak. A previous hole I dug also showed water pooling, but it was a full 15 feet away and was just from the water running downhill from the real leak. There was no way I would have found the leak without digging up most of my water line.

I think that it is a great service. I understand that we have to find another company to actually fix it but at least we know what the problems are. They are very prompt and I enjoy the work that they do. They made sure to give us the knowledge that we needed to understand the problem and correct it. The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very impressed with the service from this company. They made sure to take their time to find the source. It actually took them and hour and a half. I have not replaced the floor yet but I am just so happy that it was not a more expensive problem. I could have called a plumber and they most likely would not have realized the problem. I would recommend them to anyone.
