great job, respectful, communication is great

I hired this contractor to solid sod my back yard. He properly prepared the soil and laid out the grass. Now I'm waiting for the Spring to see if the grass comes out. I will highly recommend the contractor for his work so far.

On time service and friendly techs

We found McKenzie Landscaping on Home Advisor and we called and they came out and gave us a reasonable quote and we hired them that date. Within 3 days of hiring them the job started September 5th and was completed on the 6th. The did an excellent job.

I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. I needed a big job done in just a few days and they delivered. My yard turned out beautiful and exactly how I wanted it.

Very friendly. On time. Easy to work with. Very efficient. Cleaned up really well after putting in sod.

He showed up when he said he would. He did what I asked him to do. Very reasonable pricing.

We couldn't use our credit card - the provider wouldn't accept it. I had to wire money (with a fee) using a Walmart to Walmart transfer that afternoon. We felt a bit pressured - not very professional at all. The work was acceptable, but not the business practices.

I had to call the owner to remind him of the appointment. He had forgotten which meant the worker arrived late.

Ordered 10 tons of gravel for a barn project. The delivery was REAL light. So I ordered from somebody else and compared. Seems like this delivery was between 3-5 tons. Several calls, texts and over a week later, they finally responded and delivered another 5 tons or so. I told them from the beginning I would eventually be ordering more for 200 yards worth of driveway. They just lost that business.

Very congenial and knowledgeable. After hiring and firing several people, I finally found one who would not only do the work to my satisfaction (and I'm picky) but know what he's doing as well.

He took a quick look and Quoted a price for replacing a valve and fixing a leak After opening hole there was a simple leak --no valve replacement They found second leak and fixed it He claimed they fixed everything. I informed him they did not replace a valve on the first leak. When it came time for settling up he claimed they replaced a valve on second leak. When I asked him to produce the worn replaced valve he blustered --bent down and tried to show a new valve---there was none He then insisted I pay him his original quoted price even though no valve was ever replaced. He finally took what I offered which was more than fair for 1 hours work. There was never any attempt to preserve the sod. They Just chopped it up and raked it back.
