Luis' Tree Service

I was very impressed by this company and all workers. They came exactly when they said they would and got right to work. They were very pleasant and worked together well with no wasted time. The tree they removed was 60-70 ft. tall and was surrounded by power lines, houses, and fences. Because of the backyard location they were unable to use equipment other than to physically climb the tree and cut it down piece by piece. They were extremely careful not to let the branches they were lowering from the top of the tree touch anything on the way down. They kept the branches cleared out of the yard, and by the time the stump was ground out there was nothing left except the chips. They gave us choice of keeping chips as mulch or having them haul them off. They were caught mid-afternoon by rain and lightning and had to quit for the day. They returned first thing the next morning and were gone before noon. When they left, the yard was perfect and you could not even tell a huge tree had been there. I would recommend this tree service to anyone.

Luis arrived promptly to give me an estimate. I checked with 2 other tree services and Luis was the lowest price. He was also the only one to provide a written proposal on a form - instead of scribbled notes on note paper as the other 2 provided. His crew arrived at the time agreed and went right to work. These 2 trees were approximately 90 feet tall but they completed the work in half a day, including clean up. No time wasted by these guys. The trees were located next to my deck, but they were very careful to not do any damage to the deck or furniture. The whole job was handled in a professional manner, and I am pleased with the result. I would certainly use Luis's Tree Service again and recommend him to anyone needing this service.

I searched the tree services through Angieslist and found " Luis' Tree Service" has a few good comments. I called Luis right way and set an appointment for estimate. He was on time and also very knowledgeable and we signed the contract and set up a day for work. As scheduled Luis' crews came on time. They worked very professionally and cleaned the field after work done. I fully recommend this company to anyone who needs tree service, because they are polite, responsible and doing super job.

Luis arrived promptly (well, actually even a little early!) for the estimate. I could tell he was knowledgeable and experienced as we discussed what I wanted done with the trees and what he would be able to do with the trees. He gave me an estimate that I considered to be very reasonable and which allowed me to have work done on all three trees. Luis and his workers (a group of 4 I think it was) showed up at the scheduled time. They were friendly and professional and got right to work. Luis had told me at the estimate that we could discuss the work on the trees as the worked progressed so I could be specific about certain branches and to make sure I was satisfied before they stopped working on a tree. That was exactly how it went. Additionally, Luis and his workers have a good eye for the aesthetic value of their work, and my trees looked very good when they were done. They were careful to clean the yard up. They were very efficient with the whole process. I could not be more pleased. I offer the highest recommendation for this service.

Luis came and gave us an estimate and even saved us money by telling us the city would cut down one of our trees we needed removed for free! Very nice guy. His crew removed the tree and cleaned up after themselves. Great joib Very satisfied!

After calling and leaving a message, Luis called me the next day to set up a time to come out for an estimate. He gave me a detailed written estimate of the work to be performed and discussed it all thoroughly with me, including recommendations of which limbs to cut and which to leave. We then worked out a rough time-frame for his crew to come out and perform the work. He called later in the week, as discussed, to set up a firm time. The two crews arrived on time at 7AM and immediately climbed and began cutting down the 7 large (90-100 foot) pines in our backyard, 2 at a time. There is no way to get any equipment into the backyard, so they had to climb the trees and rope the limbs down, before dropping the trunk in sections. While they were cutting, the rest of the crew hauled the pieces out to the front yard by hand, up a steep, rocky hill. They used a large grapple truck for the trunk sections and another large truck with a shredder to shred the limbs as they were hauled out of the yard. After the back was done, they finished by removing the 2 medium pines from the front yard. All 9 trees were cut and loaded and the crew left just before 5PM. Except for a short lunch break, there were 2 men in trees the entire day and logs/branches being loaded nonstop. There was never anyone just standing around waiting for something to do. And I heard them cheer as the final section of the last pine came down! The 2nd day, a single crew came out and trimmed the large limbs from 3 separate trees, removed 2 large storm debris piles, including half of a fallen pine that was already cut into pieces (again, all from the bottom of a steep hill). They also removed a 3rd pile of large oak pieces left from a prior tree removal. Afterwards, they finished by using a leaf blower to clean up the mess from the deck and driveway - and were still done in under 4 hours. For something that I have been putting off for years and dreading, especially the financial part, Luis made this a pleasant experience at a great price. The job was done efficiently and quickly, plus the crews stayed in good spirits considering the amount of work being asked of them. I definitely recommend Luis' Tree Service to everyone and will use him again next time.

There was nothing to dislike. He came out and gave me a quote. He is very polite. His workers came in and they do what they suppose to do and got everything done and cleaned up all the debris and did everything he said they're going to do. Their price is very reasonable as compared to other that doubled the price. They did a very good job. He called me when I called usually for quote and he made arrangement and he came. They were on time when they perform this job. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Luis was great about calling us back during a very busy time for tree services. He came out within the week to give us an estimate and gave us an honest and accurate time frame for the work schedule. Luis is very knowledgeable; he knows his business well. His crew did a great job with the trees and left the yard very clean. And we were very happy with the price. All in all, we had an excellent experience with this company.

First off - thanks to Angie's list for the information that brought me to Luis' Tree Service. Luis responded to my original voice mail within an hour, I think. He was personable and professional. We set a time for him to come to provide an estimate and he was prompt - a good start. He shared good information and advice, based on his experience, and provided written estimates for doing the work either in phases or all at the same time. Luis' estimate was $1500 less than the previous estimate I had received from a different tree service! Luis' team came completely prepared and finished the work in about a day and a half. I watched as they felled the dead oak beautifully to exactly where planned... near to a fence but not touching it. Due to space and fencing restrictions, they had to dismantle (rather than fell) two large Tall Pines and did it with precision (and nerves of steel). They completely cleaned up and removed any debris in all areas where they worked. After work was completed, Luis and I walked the property, discussed what was done, and confirmed that it was completed as planned. Luis and all his team were focused, professional, respectful and personable. Kudos! and Thanks!

Outstanding service, terrific clean up, great price. Very professional, very little damage to landscape. Definitely would use again.

SEE ABOVE!! They were very busy during the recovery from the storm so I had to wait for them to get around to me but it was well worth the wait!

I called one day, the service was completed the next day. The cleanup was meticulous (no branches, etc. left lying around in my yard).

Overall it went exceptionally well. He came and gave us a written quote and came when he said he would. The tree was on a side of a hill in an area not easy to access. It came down without a hitch. That plus the extra small tree removal he did for free made his services some of best we've received. We would highly recommend his services.

Luis' crew showed up on time and worked very efficiently! They cut the logs into pieces that would fit my firepit and then piled them in a predetermined location. They were both very professional and enjoyable to work with. I will call them when we have more trees to remove!

Called and left messages with three tree service companies that are on Angie's List.. One didn't respond at all, and the second one was quite a bit more expensive than Luis. Luis was friendly and professional on the phone, came by to look at the tree, called me an estimate, and then agreed to do the job. I based my hiring him on his good rating on Angie's List, his price, and my telephone conversations with him concerning the work to be done - he patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions over several phone conversations. On the morning of the job, he made some additional suggestions, and even offered to (and did) jump start my car for me! He and his crew finished the job ahead of schedule, cleaned up nicely and, as far as I can tell, did it all very well. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend Luis to anyone needing tree work.

2012 This is a great company...prompt, efficient, reasonably priced. They take pride in their work and are eager to satisfy their customers. Once they had finished, the company owner had us inspect and we saw another limb that concerned us, so they cheerfully removed it. They were careful and cleaned up all debris. We plan to have them back in early Spring of 2013 for some much needed work on our other crepe myrtles.

First of all when I called Luis' Tree Service Luis' answered the phone and set an appointment for a few hours after. He arrived on time. He provided a price for the service and set a date to and time fot the service to be performed (three days from given the price). The grew arrive on time. I requested that the limbs be cut to 18" to fit into my Buck stove and they were. Wood was stacked and the clean up was completed. I had called several other tree services. None of them could get here for days. One of the actual said that when they were in the area they would drop by.

Luis Sanchez is worth waiting for. He kept good on his quote and the employees were fantastic. We will definitely use Luis Tree Service again to remove another tree and some branches in the future.

With a bad storm approaching near the end of the week, we realized we'd better have a large dead tree removed from our backyard. I called on a Monday and Luis told me he'd be here at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning to take a look. He arrived at 9:00 on the dot. He gave me a quote for the big tree which I thought to be fair. It is very close to the house and would require extra time and care to remove. I also asked about removing several dead branches from three other trees in the yard. His quote for trimming three very tall trees and completely removing one was under $1,000. They arrived the very next day after lunch as agreed and went to work. Roughly 4 hours later the crew had the big tree down, the other trees trimmed and all debris in their truck. Not a trace of a branch or bark was left behind! Very courteous and professional- I highly recommend!

I had three large trees that had to be taken down and one large tree on the ground from a storm a couple of years ago that I wanted them to cut up and haul. Luis gave me an estimate, we set a time, his men showed up on time and did the work. His men were not too go on speaking English so it took a little pointing and conversation to make sure they knew what the work was supposed to be. They did have a work order, but they wanted to make sure. Overall, very easy experience and very pleased with their work.

It went excellent. He did a great job and he was half the price of my other quote. They did excellent work and left my yard clean. They did exactly what they said they would do.

We called four contractors for bids. Luis was the first to respond and the first to set an appointment--in fact, the only one to set a real appointment ("sometime Thursday" doesn't cut it as an appointment. Luis arrived on time for the appointment, very professional appearance and attitude, very helpful in counseling on what work the trees needed (Counseling, as opposed to trying to run up the cost--a big difference). Gave us a written bid on the spot, with options to do the trees one at a time if we wanted to spread the expense a little, the option to just have the offending limbs removed (branches too close to the house) or do a full clean-up of dead wood and such, and a discounted price if we wanted to trim all four at the same time (a considerable discount). On the day of service, the crew arrived within the promised time window, conducted themselves like professionals, and worked very efficiently with proper safety measures. Crew leader (Hector) was courteous and cooperative, and left the impression that he wanted to do the best job possible for us. The whole crew seemed to take pride in a job well done, and worked together well as a team. The crew cleaned up after themselves as expected (and better than expected in some places). Excellent work at a price nearly half of the nearest bid and a third of another bid (the fourth contractor didn't even return my call). If there were a grade higher than "A," I'd give it to them. I'll definitely use Luis again for other projects.
