ABF Dropped off the 28 foot trailer at my home in Boca Raton Florida we packed it and they moved straight to their storage site in Knoxville TN. They were right on time on drop off and pickup from Boca Raton (the driver on pickup even helped me pack the final items). Also they were very helpful in letting us access the trailer in storage to get our baby's crib. They dropped of the trailer to the new home on time and removed it once empty. The trailer was a large 28 feet trailer (with very high ceiling) which no other service came close to their price. I had a few items I did not like such as the trailer was very dirty plus it leaked water in a few small areas however no major damage. All items were stacked exactly the way I stacked them with no damage to the boxes or furniture. Overall they did a great job with the service and the price was unbeatable (priced a large number of options).

They brought the entire trailer and dropped it off at the apartment - which made it convenient to load ourselves. We didn't have to worry about the truck - the family hopped in the vehicle and we made a little cross-country trip. They charge you by the linear foot of area that you take up in the truck, and for each foot less than you estimate, you end up saving money - we saved about $800-900 in this way.

Overall it went great. We booked movers to help us load and unload through another service that were almost ten times cheaper than the labor partners they offered. That was the only pricey part. The rest was really good. They hauled cross country in just a couple days from Texas to Colorado.

I used more space than I really needed do to inexperienced people helping load. I am planning to use this company again but this time am hiring professional loaders. You do need to supply your own blankets, tie downs, bubble wrap etc or you can purchase it from them.

Good experience. I still have a house to sell in San Diego and when I move the rest of my things I will use Upack. We had a 2 day delay in the delivery of the cubes. I think this was caused in part by the need to order more cubes which took the extra day. Upack called the day before to tell me and were very apologetic about the delay.

The driver was really nice and friendly. He handled everything really well. This is considered freight so they just load your stuff with theirs. It was less expensive then renting a truck too. Everyone I've talked to has been nice and caring. I have already recommended them to two other people who are moving.

ABF provided the ideal moving experience. The day before the pods were to be delivered, we realized we needed to change to a trailer. The customer rep was very helpful and changed our order quickly and efficiently. The movers were on time and packed everything with extreme care using the minimum amount of space which is important when paying by the square foot.. While we were driving to our new home, we were able to track the trailer online using the tracking number. Our trailer was to arrive on a Friday but because of bad weather, there was a delay. ABF called us and communicated the delay to us right away. When the trailer was delivered at my new location, all of my items arrived without damage. Again, the movers were on time, professional and quickly unloaded the trailer. I would highly recommend ABF.

I think they were pretty flexible - they gave me flexibility. I liked their customer service a lot. They were flexible on when to pick it up and when to drop it off. So that was good and the timing was good. The time they said they were going to deliver, they delivered it. The boxes were in good condition. That was really good about using them. The only thing that I wouldn't give them 10 out of 10, was that they didn't have leverage as such to help me move the stuff, I had to hire separate help to get the stuff moving out. You need to have a couple of people to help you around.

They were awesome. It was actually $1000 less than anybody else. I had to do a lot of the labor as far as loading and unloading but I didn't mind that. They put my load on the back end of a commercial route. It worked out well. They were very efficient and I was very pleased.

We moved our 4 bedroom house worth of stuff from Kansas city to Nashville. ABF's price was lower than what I estimated UHaul would be for an interstate move. There customer service was excellent!!! Our closing fell through on the house we were buying and they didn't charge me to reschedule. Everyone I talked to was understanding and so helpful during a very stressful move. No hidden costs, I paid for the space we used in the truck and I couldn't say enough good stuff about this company. It's the way all service companies should be run and if they did, it would be a better world.

Using ABF U-Pack was the best and easiest part of my whole move. The online scheduling process was easy and everyone I spoke to throughout my moving process were very friendly and professional. Everything was done as they described it would and their following up before and after my move date were appreciated. I had the trailer dropped off on the street in front of my house to be loaded and they secured the permit Denver required, which I wouldn't have even known about. My original estimate was for using 23' of the 28' trailer that was delivered, but I ended up using every inch of that trailer. I called to let them know and, as expected, I had to pay an additional charge, but it was VERY reasonable. The service this company offers and their employees (on the phone and the drivers) are exceptional!

Truck arrived on time. Driver explained the process and took pictures. He showed us how to set up the ramp, remove and install the wall once we're loaded. Hired a couple of big guys to load the truck (found through friends) so we added $100 to the overall cost, truck came back and picked up the trailer next morning and it arrived in Michigan quicker than they estimated. We only used 5 feet of the truck, instead of the estimated 7 feet so I was hoping for a discount or rebate, but that didn't happen. In Michigan, the apartment we had pre arranged for fell through so they needed to keep calling and asking for a delivery date and location, which I couldn't give them because the apartment complex manager was giving me the run around for weeks. Finally I started looking elsewhere and started the whole process over again and they were very patient with me. Finally got the new place set up and they delivered the trailer right away, again we had to block the street, so we got it unloaded right away and called them to pick it up and they were again very prompt. They estimate you will need the trailer for 3 days each for loading and unloading but we were quicker because of the smaller load and street access issues. This company was absolutely great to work with at both ends of the move. Very understanding of the issues and very responsive.

My daughter needed to move her stuff from her apartment to Mississippi. We looked at renting a 10' or 12' truck and doing it ourselves. This would have meant also renting a car tow-er and drive it all ourselves. ABF U-Pack was less expensive ($1100 v $1750), they drive it (which saves on additional fuel expense), and we just had to drive her car (which is easier than driving the truck. A win-win-win from our perspective. All her stuff arrived in good shape. It took us about 3 hours to pack the truck, and it took about 40 minutes to unload it at the other end. The trailer was dropped off one day, packed the next day and picked up later that same day. It arrived and was ready to unpack four days after we arrived there (driving our own car), which was as expected. A couple of things to consider. ** You have less control on the receiving end of when you unload the truck; you do it within the time frame they give you, or you incur additional expense. ** We chose to pack it ourselves. You have to pack in such a way that you can use all 9 feet of height, which mean stacking boxes and furniture. (Or you can pay for more floor usage by not stacking as high.) The ability to tie stuff down is challenging. We ended up creating "layers" that were fairly stable. The truck is wide enough to fit a full length couch. We were able to pack all her stuff into less than 6 feet of floor length; 6' long x 8' wide x 9' high. After everything is loaded, you put up a "bulkhead" that separates your stuff from whatever other stuff they load into the truck. The bulkhead seems to hold pretty well. ** Read all the contract fine print. There are numerous things you can get caught short by if you don't pay attention. ** Have the drop off guy explain and demonstrate how to properly set up the ramp; you will need the ramp. ** Get renter's insurance. ** You cannot "lock up" your stuff. The trailer doors can be locked with ABF's lock, but you cannot lock the bulkhead, etc. Even overnight, you cannot easily lock the trailer doors; it can be done overnight, but you have to figure out how and buy the right shape lock. The ABF people were very easy to work with and they did what we needed them to. They sited the trailer on schedule, and were pleasant and accommodating on both ends of the trip.

If you have super-expensive stuff, it's probably not for you but it's very competitive with U-Haul and you don't have the hassle.

They did everything they were supposed to do, without a single hitch or slip. The two cubes were delivered and removed on time, and they were clean and sealed against the weather by rubber edges along the door. They were made secure by the locks I purchased, as ABF recommends. When I changed my mind about scheduling, my requests were granted with no argument or bad attitude. In fact, everyone was consistently cordial, even after I agreed to use the service. I didn't have to pay a penny until the cubes were actually picked up. I paid by credit card. I'm writing now because of the delivery men I actually met, John Glisas in San Francisco and Lenny Diederich in Medina. The office staff were very good, too, but not only were the delivery men cordial, they were skilled. Mr. Glisas positioned the cubes much more conveniently for loading than what I'd requested. Mr Diderich drove and parked just as skillfully, and he also retrieved four shipping blankets I'd accidentally left in one of the cubes. These little services may not seem like much, but if you read reviews of the "full service" movers, you begin to realize that they are the exception rather than the rule. My stuff all fit in two cubes, but I would use ABF even if I had a lot more. In that case, I would have had to hire people to help me load. The good thing about ABF is that nobody touches your stuff but you. All they do is pick up, transport, and deliver, which suited me fine. Of course, you do have to be willing and able -- or able to hire other people -- to do the grunt work. I understand ABF will load and unload for a fee, but I didn't go that route.

The move went very smoothly something we were really concerned about.

This company did a good job at delivering the trucks on time and arriving at the right time. They quoted me correctly and I had no issues. This type of service is great for people who want the do-it-yourself type of moves. U-Haul couldn't handle this move, so I had them drive all of our household items across the country (typical family/3-4 BR worth of stuff).

I did two door to door moves using a cube and ABF was clearly superior in all ways. Would have used them in the second move but they did not serve the area.

It went very well overall. My only complaints were the new drivers in Sacramento who didn't know how the contracts were supposed to work. You are supposed to sign off on the total feet used before they leave, and the driver didn't know what I was talking about.

We used ABF to provide a moving trailer for our move to Rowlett TX from Boise ID. ABF provided a 28 foot trailer which was dropped off promptly at our doorstep. They picked it up immediately after we called to let them know it was loaded. Our household goods were delivered as scheduled. They called in advance to let us know when the trailer would arrive at our new destination. After we unloaded, I called for a pick up and the trailer was picked up within the hour. The drivers were helpful and courteous. The customer service staff were a great help in planning our move. The only downfall were the loaders they recommended to use: Moving Staffers this company is terrible, a lot of our things were damaged and broken. Not ABF fault, but if they recommend or try to arrange for Moving Staffers to load DO NOT USE THEM. ABF I will use again as three of my family members have.

Nearly every piece of wooden furniture was scratched, rubbed bare, or broken. They also tore the upholstery on a sofa and a chair and damaged the leather on a recliner. They offered $150 compensation for over $10,000.00 in damages.

They were extremely courteous, prompt, on time, and very reasonable. I moved from a huge house, and over 500 miles. They were true to their word. The drivers were just great as were the rest of the company we dealt with.

I looked at several moving options when planning my move from Houston to Michigan, including standard moving companies as well as PODS. U-Pack was 40% cheaper than PODS for the same service, so I ordered 2 Relo-Cubes to move my 3 bedroom house contents. The cubes were delivered on time, and I wisely hired movers from U-Pack to load the cubes. While it cost an additional $380, it was the best money I spent as the loading is the key to avoiding damage. The movers were masterful at wrapping my furniture with plastic and stacking everything to take advantage of the available space. The two cubes were delivered in Michigan on time and nothing was damaged at all. We had a very good moving experience with U-Pack and I recommend them highly!

They will drop the back of the truck off, the trailer. You pack your stuff in it and then they come and pick up the trailer up with your stuff in it and deliver it to where you want it. We found it to be cost savings and it was so easy. They were so timely, we were really impressed. This was an economical way to move if you want to do it on a dime and they were really really friendly and good.

They are very good. They quoted a price and it was exactly right. Pretty good. Always very helpful over the phone.
