It went great. They helped me at both ends of our order. ABF asked if they could deliver the units a few days early, as they were in the area. They delivered them on the day promised and in the time frame they said they would. I asked the driver to place the two units facing two different directions to aid out loading process, he did that without a question. The driver did not do any damage to our newly resurfaced driveway, the same goes for the second driver that picked up the loaded units. Back in Buffalo, NY the dispatch center (Kevin) was very helpful and great full that we did business with ABF, he also worked with us to coordinate the best delivery and pick up schedule to help us. Thank you ABF, if needed I will do business again with you.

They were great. They were timely, keep in contact with us and gave us a heads up when they were coming. We had snow up in Milwaukee where we moved and they even helped move the snow so the moving pods could be put on a flat surface.

I want to thank you so much for your help in getting my things moved from Florida to South Bend, Indiana. I was able to contact "Affordable Packing and Moving" to unload the relo-cube. This is a company that provides true good old fashioned customer service. They did what was promised, when they promised and were responsive to every request that was made. I have to tell you I love these folks they did an outstanding job. Great communication and responsiveness, honestly could not have asked for better performance and execution. Some reviews mentioned damaged items, I would have to say everything arrived in perfect condit

It went very smoothly, and their pricing was very fair. They were outstanding, and took care of follow through. They were prompt, and all the way around a great company!

When we saw the estimate of $3600 for a move of two cubes we tried to change the number of cubes to one. At that point, we had already been assigned a 'reference' number, even though we were just requesting a quote. In order to change any part of the quote, we had to give our full name, etc. At that point we panicked and bailed out of the website. We have sent three emails to our email contact, David Chanthavy, requesting that UPack remove our quote, After two business days, UPack and Chanthavy have not responded, nor have the quote details been removed. As a former systems person (Computer Geek), I have requested lots of quotes on many online sites, and this is the first time I have had such a bad experience trying to communicate with a prospective business provider..

They were excellent. They are very professional and provide great customer service. ABF and U Pack collaborated wonderfully and the price was also very reasonable.

It was great. The pods came on time. They were able to include an additional pod when I needed it and delivery was quick. Only one item was broken.

They were on time and did everything exactly to their word.

The reservation staff on the 800 number were friendly and helpful, volunteering ways that would save me money such as the ability to bring my goods to their freight yard to pack onsite and also pick up onsite at the destination rather than have the cube delivered. Since this was only one room of furniture and some boxes, this was easy to do and saved $400! The staff at the ABF freight yard in Tulsa were very nice and had my paperwork ready for me when I arrived. The cubes were in an area of the freight yard that was out of the mainstream, so it was easy to load the cube and I could unload the truck and then figure the best way to fit it all in to minimize damage. I was told it would take 5-7 business days to ship but it arrived in four days and the family member who received the shipment advised that everything seemed to be undamaged. The price was right, the service was excellent, the cube was metal rather than plywood or fiberglass and it was shipped on time with what seemed to be reasonable care. I would use certainly use this service again and would recommend them to others.

Everything went extremely well. Very little damage, and I don't even think you could call it damage. We packed it ourselves though, so we get some credit! But, surprisingly, nothing was broken, just a few small rub marks that are hardly noticeable and totally our fault. They even repositioned the wall by a foot after it left our house and then credited our account for the difference!!

It was great. Everything went smoothly. They came and picked up the items like they said they would. They came on time and as scheduled. They transported the items in the estimated time that they said they would. Everything was in good shape and I had no problems at all. I chose them through word of mouth, somebody recommended me to them.

I have moved 8 times in the last 14 years, and I've finally found a method that works, is affordable, and has none of the hassle of other moving processes. Using U-Pack by ABF, I reserved a 28' trailer, of which I used 13 linear feet for my 2-bedroom apartment. If I needed more feet, I could get it for a set rate of about 100 bucks per foot. Everything was written out, there was no negotiating, no surprise fees, no hidden costs, and NO transfer of goods from one truck to another (in my last cross-country move, my goods were loaded FOUR times from origin to destination). The reservation was simple, the staff was usually helpful (and prompt), the fee was clear (and NEVER changed), the process was straightforward, and I never once was wondering where my goods were (they provide a tracking number) or how much this would ultimately cost. The speed is insane -- from Arkansas to DC, my stuff arrived in 7 days, and that included July 4 and the weekend! Note 1: It's up to you to pack your possessions securely (use uniformly shaped boxes and make sure they are sturdy!!!! I had some damage because I didn't pack some things correctly...not their fault). Note 2: It's also up to you to ensure you can leave a trailer at your residence/destination overnight (though they do store the trailer for a few days if you need it).

We had no issues with them. They were great to work with and nothing was broken at all. I called them on the Thursday after we unloaded and they did not end up getting the trailer picked up until Monday of the next week. They made me think they were going to get to it sooner but I had to call a couple of times to get that done. The value was very good for the price that I paid.

It was fine. They tend to be late each time. They said they’ll bring the truck because we pack on this end and then we hired somebody on the other end to unpack her so they brought the truck out but they were late each time. The drivers were very nice and very helpful. One driver shared they don’t have enough drivers. The guys were great.

The Cube was brought to my home on the scheduled date and time, I even received a call from the driver giving me an ETA. I filled the Cube with my household belongings and notified ABF it was ready to pick up. They picked up the Cube as scheduled, I didn't even have to be present. The Cube was transported to my new home in California. I received notice it was ready for delivery within the time frame promised. It was delivered to my new home, I unloaded my belongings, which were undamaged, and they came back the next day and pick the Cube back up. The whole process was very easier.

These guys are great and also a great alternative to a typical moving company. They were flexible and accommodating the my dates and times of moving my household goods from Houston to Las Vegas. They also arranged for Moving Staffers to help me with loading and unloading the containers. No move could have gone smoother. All of the staff who showed up at my house were professional. The drop off and pick up the containers were scheduled and completed without a hitch. I will use them and Moving Staffers again on Part Two of my mover. Highly recommend this alternative process of moving across country.

ABF U-Pack Moving is the most crooked and dreadful business I have ever dealt with in my life. We relied on them to move everything we own from Atlanta to Ohio and then store our belongings till we found a house. Nine months later when they delivered everything, 1/4 of all of our stuff was ruined due to mold and water damage. Their trailer had a large hole in the ceiling that they had patched with duct tape and let it sit for the entire time it was in storage. The "contract" we signed did not give us another option for coverage except for "standard" which only covers $.10 per lb of what was ruined. Therefore the glider my parents had custom made for me when my first born baby was born that cost $800 - ABF would give me $20 for it. Also no where on the contract did it say anything about our items being ruined by knowingly dysfunctional equipment. I understand that they will not reimburse for items damaged due to travel. But I was trusting them that my stuff would be safely and dryly transported and stored and paid them a ton of $$ to do so - but instead they haphazardly covered up a hole in their trailer with duct tape. Having no respect for my belonging, the money I was paying them for this service, or themselves as a company. Please never ever hire them for any of your moves. It will only result in thousands of additional dollars spent in addition to needing to replace all of your ruined belongings.

ABF cancelled my move on Saturday when their truck couldn't get in my driveway,and it ended up costing me $150.00 for nothing . I was left to re-schedule my move with another company and had to re-hire movers. I called Moving Staffers on Saturday to let them know that the job had been cancelled because ABF couldn't get their truck to fit in my driveway. Apparently the ABF-recommended Moving Staffers did not listen to the Saturday message cancelling the move, nor did ABF contact them. I now have to pay Moving Staffers $150.00 for nothing. Since this issue began with ABF UPack, I called them about the $150.00 charge, and they said they were in no way affiliated with Moving Staffers (they were last week!), and they could not help me in any way. Angie's List would not help either unless I upgraded to a premium membership. I can't afford an upgrade and pay out $150.00. I would suggest that you avoid both of these companies. I've re-scheduled my move with 1-800-Pack Rats and the Hire-A-Helper. They were terrific about working with me at the last minute and were extremely patient with my frantic pleas.

They were very helpful in my search to ship my son his furniture. My son is in the navy and just recently got an apt. and I was looking for the cheapest way to ship him his furniture. The girl that I spoke to on the phone was Michelle and she went above and beyond to help me get the best price and service that fit our needs. I originally was going to use a cube which would have cost me almost $500. Michelle suggested that I rent out space in a trailer. You rent out as much space as you need and pay for only what you use. Michelle also suggested that we load the trailer ourselves at their Cohoes location which saved us money also. When I looked into renting a U-Haul to take the stuff mysefl it would have cost $600 just to rent it not counting gas and tolls and then my trip back to NY with UPack it only cost me $294 to send the stuff and then my son rented a UHaul once the stuff arrived to pick it up at a cost of $60. Michelle aso gave us a $50 Millitary discount which brought the original quote down to the $294 that we paid. I would definately recomend their service to anyone.

Was told numerous times by several different staff members that a 23' truck could easily work for a 4BR home. My home is a 4BD but 2 had no furniture, office had no furniture & dining room had no furniture & they WAY underestimated the size truck I would need! I used a 28' truck plus now need to find another company to move the rest at least another 15-20' truck is now needed! They also sent me thru Moving Staffers to staff my loading & unloading which sent criminals to my home that stole from me! When I brought this to U-Pack's attentions they did not care at all! I was told they handle the trucking problems & to contact Moving Staffers for the labor problems even though they are the company that set all this up! I then mentioned the underestimation of the truck sent to me & again was told "it's a guess" so again they did not care about yet another issue! Over charged & would not use them again!

This company was good. They helped me move my things to the truck and drove me to the new place. They also helped unpack the things and took them inside. The price was a little expensive but I needed some help right away and didn't have any time to look elsewhere. But they were friendly and responsive in helping out.

It went really well with no problems. Upack trailer was scheduled to arrive between 8a.m. and noon. We needed the trailer to be loaded and moved the same day and that is a little more difficult to arrange, but all went smoothly. We did not use the loading company recommended by UPack because they have a cancellation fee. We found our own loaders, Move Masters, who did an excellent job and were much cheaper. The morning of the move I called and although it was difficult to pinpoint a specific time of delivery UPack representative did tell me trailer would arrive around 11 a.m. Trailer was delivered as promised. The loaders arrived shortly after and finished loading the trailer in about 3 hours. I called UPack and told them trailer was ready. It was picked up about 5:00. The transportation time to Santa Fe was predicted to be 2 days, but due to bad weather it was delayed a day. It was delivered to our property as predicted. Everything inside the trailer was still in place. Our invoice amount owed was reduced because we ended up using less space than we at first expected. The UPack representatives are courteous and professional and listen to customer needs and concerns. UPack makes it easier to estimate what your move is going to cost and to be economical. We are going to use them again in May when we move the rest of our stuff. If you want to save money and do some of the work yourself then UPack is the way to go.
