Description of Work: They spent less than an hour and replaced 6 robber gaskets on my vents. They also left some loose shingles on the roof. I thought it was a bit expensive for how little was done.

Mr. [Member Name Removed], I am not finding your info in our system, on our calendar, on anywhere. I looked up the address on Google maps and it pulls up time of the many Walmart main office buildings scattered down Moberly Ln. Can you verify that is was a repair that we did for you. We don't just replace the rubber gaskets on the roof. We remove the shingles around the pipe, install ice and water shield under the shingles and under the new pipe flashing and re install the shingles. Please let me know. I would like to get this resolved because it should take longer than 2 hour to do all these steps on 6 pipes. Our office # is 479-248-9100 Thank you, Will Brown

Description of Work: They tore off 4-5 layers of shingles, replaced the decking, and reroofed the entire house. We have a very steep roof, and they handled it very well. They also added a roof ridge vent. They were careful of my plants and cleaned up very well. They were pleasant and cheerfully answered questions. They were great!

I could not believe how good they were. They were awesome. I had contacted four different companies, and they were the only ones that were very clear about costs and went over every step with me. They put lines on the roof so there was no unevenness. Other contractors have noticed that the quality of the work was outstanding. They were not even here for an entire day to replace my roof. They cleaned up after themselves. He brought an inspector the next day to make sure that everything went okay. He also was the most competitive in terms of pricing. He installed shingles that come with a lifetime warranty.

Brown Boys roofing put the original roofing on our home when it was built. After approx 2-3 years we had a leak around vent pipe. Brown Boys charged for this repair. After the Hail storm I called Brown Boys for roof inspection, they claimed it would be $49. for inspection & Estimate. My insurance company advised me to get another company as most company's don't charge for inspections.

Dear Member, I am sorry for the miscommunication. The pipe flashings originally installed are made with a rubber sleeve around your plumbing pipe. These tend to dry out and split due to being in the elements. They tend to need replacing every 2-5 years. This is why we charged for this work. It was general maintenance on your roofing system. Like a car your roofing system requires a tune up. And regarding the $49 attic inspection and diagnostic fee. You called on June 16 2011 according to our records. This was in the height of the storm damage. We had several insurance agents having us do a storm damage inspection instead of having an adjuster come out. This was to keep the customer from having to many claims and potentially from being cancelled. Also, the diagnostic fee was to be waived if the roof was to be either repaired or replaced by Brown Boys Roofing. Again I apologize for our inability to communicate this to you at the time of service. Thank you for taking time out of your day to provide us with this invaluable information. We would not know where we need to improve without the help of customers like you share things we need to improve. It went very well. He took photos of all the areas of concern, both inside the attic area and on the roof. He discussed with us what should be done right now and what we could delay until later. He found the flashing around 2 vents had deteriorated and explained how the one small shingle had detached and how he would repair it. He arrived on the minute they stated he would arrive. Very trustworthy. Didn't try to talk us into anything not needed. I will use them if and when the roof needs replacement or any other repair is needed.
Description of Work: We had a shingle that came off the roof. We wanted that repaired and a roof inspection to see if there were any other problems and an idea of the condition of the roof.

I called Brown Boys and sent their office manager photos of the problem areas from inside the attic. We have a very high pitch roof so I was not about to go outside and look around myself. We were in the middle of the worst rain fall in years and they sent a tech out to take a look. The tech was very nice and made sure he looked at both inside and roof top areas. He even took pictures of the before and after so I could see what he had done. The pricing list was very straight forward and the job was doe very well.
