Brown Boys Roofing

I just had my roof replaced a house I just bought and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They worked so hard in temperatures of at least 105 degrees. They took very few breaks. David and his brother were very professional and considerate. They cleaned up after the job was complete. Thank you Omar and Taylor for being so quick to respond and coming on a week-end to give me a quote and thank you Justin and Ralph for recommending them to do my roof. I was very please with Brown Boys quality of work.

I was in dire need if a new roof and after checking several companies in my are I decided to try Brown Boys Roofing. They came out and gave an estimated and I decided to have them do the job, Price was a bit high for what I found as an average in the area, the crew that came out were absolutely top notch, they did an Excellent job and were professional in all means and top notch. Kudo's to the crew.

Overall they were ok. Not a 5 star experience. Probably a C+ type experience. Was difficult to communicate with the team that did the work and get questions answered. The good - - Estimates and scheduling. - Overall work seemed to be good. No leaks. - Did fix everything. Still have some shingles that are bowing but they said they will lay down once it gets warm. - Sent a nice post job package. - Was very fast to return my insurance paperwork via email. - Good job cleaning up the nails and the job site. - Definitely not an easy roof. Steep and large. - Was after a storm where demand for roof work was very high. The not so good - Said it would take 2 days and took 4. - Parked trucks in yard without asking and left ruts. - Broke a piece of siding and took me pointing it out versus telling me. They did come back and fix. - At post work inspection there were some questions and was told they were going to come back that day. Didn't come back and didn't call. - After a few weeks called again to see if they were going to come and finish the paperwork and say that the roof was ok. Showed up without scheduling a visit (did try to call an hour or so before they showed up). - Warranty length was wrong on the final paperwork. Pointed it out and it was changed.

Bill Brown (owner) made the final inspection of my new roof today 10-14-2019. He provided me the Proof of Roof certificate unique to roofing companies here in NW Arkansas and my owner's warranty package. I am totally satisfied with my new roof and the professional service rendered by Brad Garnett, Bill Brown and the team at Brown Boys Roofing Company.

The roofers worked hard and completed the job in 5 days. They repaired damage to the sheathing and carefully flashed all the necessary spots. They cleaned up nicely when the job was done. I would definitely hire Brown Boys again. In fact I did have them come out later to replace guttering and got the same terrific service.

Bill properly secured a piece of flashing that we stuck on our roof as a temporary solution to divert water draining from an upper gutter to a lower one. He also fixed 2 other minor gutter issues, and performed an overall roof and attic inspection. While the roof and gutters were in good shape he made several recommendations for improvement that could wait until the roof and gutters were replaced in the future. While he was in the attic he also checked out a bathroom exhaust fan vent for us. Overall, the work was completed efficiently and with no mess. Our recent rains demonstrated that the flashing and diverter are now working properly. Bill is very pleasant to work with and educational! The $79 price seemed insufficient for all the work performed, but that is the way they do business. We wish we had called them first, since the price another gutter company charged us to install the original diverter, come out a second time to move it, apparently use an adhesive that was dissolving the shingles, and still not divert the water properly, was more than twice as much.

It was a good experience. I would recommend them. They did an excellent job and in the time frame that they had projected, and no cost over runs. They did very good work.

They did a good job. There were concerns, but no issues there. The quality of work is done well. It worked the first time. They completed the work in the same day. Several people came to do the job.

Will came out, did an inspection. He was on time and very professional. While he could have sold me just about anything at that point, he identified the fact that the issue was not in the roof, rather it was water entry into stone work that was causing the leak. He was able to refer me to someone who specializes in this type of work and he provided me with pictures to send to this provider for an evaluation. heartily recommend these guys and will use them in the future for any need roof work immediately without question.

As scheduled - Note: You may get lower estimates but you will not get the professional courtesy, etc. and workmanship that was provided by Brown Boys Roofing. Will Brown and Lance are A++ as with their roofing installers. Plus you will not have to wait on an estimate - it is given at the same time that Will Brown comes to your home. I offer this review because I has 3 other roofing contractors' estimates and I and my partner are not pushovers for blah, blah, blah.

Someone was supposed to show up on May 2 however they never did. I called and asked if anyone was on the way. The lady responded that the owner was dealing with a flood issues and she forgot to call and cancel my appointment. I rescheduled again for May 4 and another no show! When I called inquiring if anyone was going to be at the house to look at the gutters the lady said no. I am not sure why it is so hard to call a customer and cancel if you cant show up to the appointment. YOU WASTED MY TIME TWICE THIS WEEK. She then offered to reschedule again (REALLY!!! who would say yes after 2 no shows??) I asked if someone would actually show up this time! her response "I can't guarantee that someone would show up" Need I say more? I don't recommend this place due to poor customer service. They MAY do good work, but their inability to show up to the scheduled appointment and lack of courtesy to cancel is bad customer service.

On the phone call, i asked for my gutters to be cleaned and I also asked an estimate for installing gutters. They came out and gave me an estimate, and did not clean the gutters due to lack of equipment. It had gotten lost in translation that they were to clean the gutters, but they were out the next day to clean them. I'm not sure if this is company policy but he only charged 66% of what was quoted for the cleaning! Very professional

Everything went smoothly, the original quote was honored plus a 10% cash discount which we appreciated! Gutters look amazing, we are completely satisfied with their services and will keep them in mind if we need our rood replaced in a few years.

The work itself was great. However, I was given a verbal quote that was $1,000 less than the final estimate and bill. I was told during the initial quote that I would get the reduced rate because I was paying in cash instead of going through insurance. In the final transaction, I was told that that was a mistake on their part. Brown Brothers has a good reputation, so I went with them anyway because of the promise of good work.

It's taken them several times to get it, to find for sure where the leaks come from but they have absolutely stayed on the job and got it, there has not been any more charges, they guarantee their work.Their great. My husband was saying that Brown Boys they have like a book and it's go it the pricing it and so they say okay well this is going to be so many squares of tile like shingles this is the price that it's gonna cost to repair it, so it's not some fly by night place. We have three homes and we would use them on all three homes. They do what they say their gonna do, they stand behind their work, they schedule the time they are going to be there and I will tell you even if they are going to be ten minutes late they call. Very reliable and their honest.

Pretty well. They told us when we started that it could take a couple/few times of rain to be absolutely sure they got it fixed, but they would come back until it was fixed. That's exactly what happened. They were great.

With the leck in the valley every time it rained had to call them until they put the piece of metal down but when fosters replaced the roof did not have to have metal piece down the valley and it looks great without metal piece

When the shingles were removed it was discovered my house had 1 x 12's used for decking not the usual 4 x 8 sheets of plywood/particle board. Brown Boys charged me cost only for the 1 x 12 boards and I paid additional labor for replacing the decking. Although this was a time consuming project the crew finished in 2 days as promised. I was very satisfied with the work they did and would hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Work was performed on time and on price. I liked their work so much that I asked them to come back today and install a drain pipe to get the water over my retaining wall -- again ontime an on price. These guys are fair, honest and a pleasure to work with. I will definately use them again.

Will Brown came by my house to estimate repair scope and cost, but decided to fix it himself after inspection. He ran down to the hardware store for a part, then promptly returned to repair a roof vent and tack up some loose siding around one dormer. He was prompt and courteous.
