B G & C Cleaning

They did great work. Even did the few dishes that were in my sink. Cleaned microwave out and stovetop. Even dusted very shelf we had in the house. Very pleased with the work. They were just a tad bit late (only about 30 mins).

We had our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house cleaned. It was just a standard cleaning and not a deep clean, but they did an excellent job. Best cleaner we've used so far, and I'm very picky. Our house even smelled nicer (and not just like cleaning products). The price is a little high for us to use as our regular cleaner, though.

They are good. I would hire them again. I like their cleaning.

It went very well. They stayed a little bit longer and I was very happy with the service. I also paid an additional cost. If you need someone to do house cleaning, they do a great job. I'll have them back when I can't maintain the house. They were good. No questions asked. Price was reasonable. They were very good on punctuality. They showed up on time or a little bit early.

Gail and her team have been cleaning our house weekly for nearly 8 months and always do an excellent job. It's more than just the cleaning, it's the little things. I'm always amazed at how they leave the house like it not only cleaned but in order, with everything stacked, straightened and put away. Another attribute that I have to mention about BC&G is that they are super fast. They typically come in with a full crew (usually 5) and they have the house clean within 1-1 1/2 hours. They are courteous, professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend them

Great crew, they were on time and very cordial. While I believe they did a creditable job, I prefer that we clean out house rather than use someone to do it for us. I don't mean they did anything wrong, we just prefer doing the work ourselves.

The level of work I thought she was going to do on my carpet was underpar. My kitchen was spotless and if she only did vacuuming and dusting than this would have been a pretty good job. She isnt horriblem but my issue goes with the substandard carpet cleaning job that was done. Also on the fact that she said cleaning my upholstery was extra.

I was in the process of showing my house to sell it, when the previous cleaner quit. I contacted Gail and she and her team started cleaning my house every other Monday starting in May 2014 for about 1 1/2 months. With 5 pets, I wanted to make sure the house was regularly cleaned so that potential buyers would not be turned off by a dirty house. She and her team were friendly and the cleaning was pretty good. I had provided Gail with a key to my house since I was usually unable to be there due to work. Where I ran into issues was with scheduling and security. One Monday she and her team were supposed to clean, she called to say she had forgotten to bring my key with her. Instead of going to get it, she skipped doing my house that day. She was able to make up the cleaning day later that week, and normally a one time incident like this would not have bothered me much, but since I was showing to potential buyers and it wasn't clean for several days, it did cause me stress. Also, over the 5 times she and her team cleaned my house, the following happened: the back door was left unlocked; the door to the garage was left open allowing my pets to get into the garage (luckily none of them escaped when I pulled into the garage that day); 3 doors I normaly kept closed to prevent the pets from getting into those particular rooms were left open allowing them access for several hours; the front door was left unlocked (incident that most concerned me); and on the last day her team cleaned, someone had turned the AC down to 65 and did not turn it back up when they left. I used B G & C Cleaning based on the Angie's List reviews I had read. Unfortunately, my experience was not as good as it has been for others. To be fair to Gail, I did not bring the security issues to her attention since her services to me were for such a short period of time.

I cleaned my home every other week for about six months. They started out really good and then she got some new employees and it went down from there. As soon as I had a complaint about the quality of work she quit. I did call her several times to tell her about problems. The last time she cleaned for me was a day before a big Christmas party did a terrible job. Bathrooms just outright missed. I literally spent over 3 hours cleaning after they left. She told me she could not please me and quit. It was really bad because it was right at the holidays. I had just remodeled a bathroom and had nickel plumbing fixtures (they were very expensive) and put in and granite counter tops. I walked in and one of the employees was scrubbing the counter tops with a scouring pad and they ruined the finish on one of the faucets. They were always late. I think she just tried to do too many houses in a day and hired some bad employees. She personally is good at cleaning but she brings about 4 employees with her that are not and really do not know what they are doing and did not do a very good job. I was left in a lurch.

When first purchased we had something scheduled. She became very backed up later on around the holidays, then there was a snow storm, then she lost an employee, it just seemed like a run around. I am just now requesting a refund.

The house looked and smelled great. I could smell the "clean" from the garage when I got home from work. They also asked for feedback and were open to anything I may have had as a special request for future cleanings. We were very happy with the results.

Gail and all of her staff are amazing. They do really great work and go above and beyond your typical cleaning. Also, we have 3 dogs and the cleaners are all terrific with them. I will recommend them to everyone looking for cleaners.

My first experience with her was on the phone and her venting about another client. She had obviously just had a very heated discussion and was really upset; which we laughed about her therapy session with me. Gail was to come out on Saturday, April 5 to give estimate. She said she'd be there between 9-11 am. It was after 1 pm when I heard from her. Said she had dropped/broken her phone, didn't have any way to let me know. Told her I'd be there all day - she came out within the 30-45 min.she said; had James, her supervisor with her as well. We again went over the therapy session incident and all had a good laugh about it. I was surprised that she came in without any type of paperwork, contract, etc., with pricing or for notes, client information. My husband and I stressed we wanted the main emphasis of cleaning to be on the main floor. We had recently done some sprucing up and grout dust was very prevalent. She walked around, looking, running her finger over things, saying "yes m'am" to anything and everything I said. I was sharing a lot of info with her about what I wanted/expected. She quoted between $400-$600 and said she had to answer to the Lord, so she would be fair on the pricing. We agreed. Her crew came Monday afternoon, April 7. My husband was the first home that evening, wrote her a check for $600 - no receipt given. I came home later and was anxious to check out the house. It did smell fresh and clean. However, the first thing I saw was in the kitchen - the glass-front cabinets over the cook-top had not been touched - grease splatters very evident. Most of the top cabinets had not been cleaned, nor had most of the bottom ones; area over fireplace not dusted; doors not wiped down, baseboards in kitchen not cleaned; utility room floor not cleaned; tub in master still had soap residue; outside tank/bowl of master toilet not cleaned; master vanity not cleaned; master bathroom floors/rugs not cleaned/vacuumed. The master shower was great. The upstairs was good as was the staircase banisters and steps. Needless to say I was furious - the main floor was to be the focus, and it was seriously lacking in attention. I called Gail the next morning, April 8, and explained nicely that I was disappointed in several items. I went over the above listings and she said, the crew was getting tired yesterday and that they would come back out. I said that would be great. They came out that afternoon. When I got home, I again checked over everything. The biggest thing I could see was they did was wipe down a cabinet or two and clean the glass front of the cabinets-although they still had some smudges on them. Bath tub still has the soap residue, toilet still not wiped, doors still not cleaned. Again, I was furious after paying that much money I expected over the top service. I called Gail again on April 10, and stated that I was still not pleased. She asked, "what do you want? Do you want us to come back out? I can come back out. I spent 1 1/2 hours cleaning the master shower." I explained I have to take off work or get someone to meet her, I don't have time for this. She asked do you want a refund? I said I'd like a refund of $200. She said fine, I'll send it to you. I thanked her and said that would be great. I called her on April 18, regarding the refund not being received. She said she had told her accountant to send it. She said I should have it in a week. I left her a voice mail message on her phone on April 28 about not receiving the refund and that I had hoped she would keep her word. It is now May 8, and I have not heard from her nor received the $200 back. I certainly expected better service to say the least, and certainly as she said, she does have my Lord to answer to in the end. I guess I know now why she didn't take notes, have a contract, or anything else in writing.

NOT ENOUGH TIME TO CLEAN ALL OF HOUSE

Gail and her crew are great! I had them come do a deep clean at my house and they did a fantastic job! They are very quick but also very thorough. I am now using them weekly and have been very pleased.

Gail come out to the house to estimate the job at the time she committed. My wife has to be sold on the person who is going to clean her house, and she was sold after Gail spoke to her about attention to detail and care with items. We had a company cleaning our house before this that had some bad attitudes. Gail's crew was professional and thorough. I appreciate the attention to detail and the overall better clean than we were receiving from the other company. Job well done. We will use this cleaning crew bi-weekly going forward.

I was afraid I wouldn't be able to schedule them prior to Thanksgiving but they were able to get me an appointment. The owner showed up with three other ladies. I liked everything they did, they were a good company. They were very thorough and professional. All four of the workers worked constantly and the owner was always checking to make sure everything was done.

This is the best cleaning company I have ever used or heard about. Wow!! They did an amazing job. I want them to come back weekly and keep my house looking this awesome. I will refer Gail to everyone I know. Thank you so much!

They had to stay longer to get the job done but did not ask for more money. They were pretty thorough considering they were here twice as long as they intended to be. They were professional and friendly.

Missed a couple of things but I know Gail would have made it right if I'd asked. On the other hand, got some things looking like they had not looked in 20 yrs.!! Would definitely use again.
