Every thing went really well.

The damper was stuck and there had been some rust. He worked several hours cleaning and even took out the gas logs and improved the looks of the grate. We are in the process of selling deceased relatives house. His extra help was so appreciated. We were so pleased with his service, we had him come up to our home and make our roof repairs. We highly recommend this company.

See above about the excellent service, suggestions, consumer concerns of this company ---- we highly recommend and can't think of any "don'ts" that they did in their excellent communication and service. Please see above for "Don'ts' when it comes to replacement roofing shingles.....this company pointed out and visually showed/explained problems over and above what they were paid to do ...another example of their excellent service and customer concern.

Company was very prompty and did thorough review of chimney. Overall I felt I was being sold more than I wanted and price was almost a third higher than other quotes with several items included that in the end were not required.

They came to do the work and they found that I had a leak. He showed me everything that was wrong. He took pictures and gave me an itemized list of what was wrong. They scheduled a time, they came out and took the time to share everything that they were doing. It took them only 3 hours to do everything. I would highly recommend them because they didn't have to point out the other problems that I had.

They came out and gave me an estimate on 3/29/2012. They had a camera on their phone so he was able to show me a picture of the needed repairs.. They also gave me a discount to schedule the work on 4/2/2012. They know what they are doing and they knew how to find the serial code off of the fire place for replacement parts. They also saved me some money by repairing parts of my chimney instead of replacing them.

The person who came out from A Advanced Chimney Service did a good job cleaning the chimney. He also wanted to do some other work but I chose not to have him do it. I have nothing against him personally. When I saw their bill, I felt like they have done work for me before. I went to my little cabinet, because I don’t throw away certain bills and I pulled it out and there it was. It seems as though that his mother had done the work. He kept saying that the bricks inside the fireplace had to be repaired and so forth. That’s what made me go look and when I looked, it was the same company and his mother is in charge of the company. His mother was here but he figured that I was wrong and I couldn't blame him. I told him that I had the bill and showed it to him. I remember that she soaked me. He was not working with her then so it was not his fault. However, she told me that I needed all these repairs and I spent about $500 plus with her. Now he wanted to do some work too. When I used them first time, I paid $500, they cleaned the chimney, and they claimed that they did grime out, water and all this work. Then they came back and did another job worth $250. They got a lot of money out of me. I don’t want them to think that they are getting away with that. I have nothing against the son. He is good but he gave me this big list of things that he needs to come back and do. I am not having him back here. He charged me $175 this time and I used a $10 coupon from Angie’s List, so it came up to $165 this time around. The first time he did it; he wasn’t there, his employee named Brian did it. In total, I have spent $650 with him for repairs alone. He wanted to come back and do the same service again. He told me that the water in the fireplace does not last for two years, which is not right. If somebody repairs a fireplace, it should at least last more than a year. I am not stupid, so I told him I didn’t want the service done all over again. He was very polite though. He was right on time. I didn’t have any questions when I figured out who he was. I let him do what he does best and leave. I told him that I don’t want him to come back. I haven’t used the fireplace yet, so I don’t know about the quality of his work. However, I saw cracks in the fireplace and I am afraid that spots are going to get in between. He was trying to sell it but I told him that his mother already sold it to me. The price was good I thought, but I didn’t compare with other providers. He was very professional. He talked a good show but I just happened to have a good memory. I would definitely not use him again.

They were great. It was $175 and I got $10 off. The chimney wasn’t really dirty. He said that the safety inspection was like $150 and the cleaning was $25 because the chimney wasn’t that bad. I thought that $150 was a little high for the things that they were doing. I didn’t see that much done. I don’t know if it is normal in the area. It would have been better if it was $100. I just went with them because it was Angieslist. I had some contractors before that weren’t very good. So I wanted to go with at least somebody that did have someone behind them like Angielist behind them. They were very clean and they cleaned up. They had protection down over my hardwood floor. They were here just real quick.

I was pleased with their work. He showed up on time, was punctual, and cleaned up afterwards. He told me how much everything would cost up front.

They were not timely and their response was slack. They didn't give me much of a professional impression. I decided not to use them and used somebody else who I had used before. I liked their price better and I also had a gut feeling that they would just be better.

We chose A Advanced Chimney Service due to it being on Angie's List & a Certified Chimney Sweep, They gave us a price to come out to inspect & sweep the chimney if it is in good order. There was the understanding if there was any damage that needed correction, there would be an estimate of possible additional charges. We scheduled the appointment. The chimney sweep was very punctual, professional & informative. He completed a very thorough inspection and sweep and advised the chimney in good shape and only charged the agreed phone price. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a chimney sweep to A Advanced Chimney Service.

Advanced Chimney showed up on time and completed the job without any issues. It was a minor job, but they had all the equipment and experience to safely get on the roof and secure the caps.

Went much better than expected.

They were very prompt in coming out to view the problem. Their quote was high pressure and was about twice what I paid for the same quaility job.

During the initial visit, everything went well. They did a good job cleaning the chimney and the chimney pan seemed fine. However, a visit to the roof revealed that the chimney pan installed was collecting water like the old one was. I called to get the pan fixed. The schedule was for a Saturday and I had to be called away. They indicated that they could still do the work, but the pan is still collecting water, and I have not received any additional followup (whether they attempted to fix it or not). Update 4/26/2011: Still have not received any follow up, although they keep promising to come out and fix the pan... Update 6/10/2011: Finally replace the roof pan. Company seems to have fallen apart, with no technicians. Owner had to sub the work through another company. I feel fortunate that she did this instead of leaving me empty handed.

Definately would not use them again. Dennis followed the technican like a gnat and wouldn't let him get a word in edge wise. She even filled out the paperwork when she didn't look at anything or do any of the work. Have opted to find someone who doesn't ghost their employee's and contradite everything they say. I believe the technican know's what he's doing but I wouldn't hire the company.

They were fine and did a good job. They got there when they said they would get there, they cleaned up after themselves and it took a couple of hours.

I liked everything about his work. He showed up on time. The adjustment was good. The quality of his work was good. The price was also good.

A Advanced Chimney Service was very professional, did a good job in looking at the problem and communicating to me what the problem was. They then gave me quotes for the job and organized with the tenet of the property and fixed the problem.

The workers were extremely polite and efficient. They were very professional and knowledgable, as well. I was most impressed with their ability to do a very dirty job without making my house a mess in the process. Their friendly demeanor put me at ease with having workers in my home while my husband was at work. In addition, their prices are a steal, considering other companies quoted me over $800 for the same services. This company also holds promptness as a priority. I was very pleased when they arrived exactly when they said they would. I highly recommend them for anyone else in need of chimney services.

The first amazing thing was they were on time in spite of bad weather. They came with all the right tools and wasted no time. Three heathen dogs in the house presented no problem, they petted everyone and went to work. They left my living room floor cleaner than when they came. They did a great job! I won't wait years to have it done again.
