Very friendly and cleaned everything up when they were finished like they were never even there.

Initially there was some confusion with scheduling the cleaning. I am still not clear about the circumstances. However, after that was cleared up, I was able to schedule an appointment. They arrived on time, cleaned the chimney, cleaned up, and left in a timely manner. I was pleased with the work.

They did a good job. They came out to do the work when it was raining and they could not inspect the chimney and its cap. I have no reason to believe it is broken. However, it is a part of their job to inspect the outside. I will use them again in spite of that issue because otherwise, they did a great job.

Guy arrived on time. Took less than 30 minutes. Charged $225. Left soot all over carpet and had to have carpet scrubbed after he left. Didn't feel like he really knew what he was doing. Paid an extra $50 for a new log holder.

A Advanced Chimney Service employees were fantastic! Not only did they clean the inside of my new home fireplace but they also checked the inside shoot of the fireplace leading up to the roof as well as the chimney exterior on the roof. Not to mention they digital photos for me to see issues that they quoted me for repair as well as things that looked good for the condition of the chimney/home. They were fast, professional, gave me a great estimate on future repairs that need to be completed and let me know what I can do to keep my fireplace at its best at all times. I recommend this company completely!

It was a little pricey for the repair, although in all honesty it may have been very reasonable because we didn't shop around. Overall though, we were very happy with his work.

I thought the price was a little high for the material that was used, but the professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of workmanship was top notch....I was fortunate enough to get a good amount of rain a couple of days later, and was so excited to see no water coming in... I would definitely use again, and highly recommend.

Originally I tried to email through Angie's list but I eventually had to call to schedule. Then my appointment was changed. But even so, they came out the day after Thanksgiving and did a great job. Thorough and professional.

We had a water leak in our chimney. The price was good. They were professional. They were on time. They came in and evaluated the situation and said they could patch it for a couple years or to fix it for the longest time possible so we chose to go with the latter of the two options.

Everything went well except he left the flue open which I didn't know. I didn't use the fireplace for a couple of weeks so the flue was open with all my room heat going up the chimney, When I went to use the fireplace, i closed the flue when I thought I was opening it since it was already open and my whole room filled with smoke and my alarms went off, quite a mess.

I booked this service with A Advanced and two days later they came and did a great and thorough job. Cleaned the stove pipe from inside the house. Kept everything clean, gave me great tips on stove pipe maintenance and woodburning. Very Punctual, professional and GOOD. Didn't try and up sell me with services I didn't need. I'll use them again...

The gentleman, Waylon, called when he was 30 minutes out. Upon arrival, he introduced himself and setup. The cleaning went without incident. He gave me some advice about the hearth and and the grate. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Overall, I was pleased with the process.

Via Angie's List, I requested service and gave my preferred schedule date. I did not receive return contact or confirmation in a timely fashion. If you are unable to return inquiries via the software at Angie's List, then don't offer it on your page.

We originally contacted AA Advanced Chimney to put a cap on our chimney. The phone estimate was $250. When the technicians arrived, they told me the chimney was in worse shape than originally thought and the chimney cap would cost significantly more. They offered a less expensive alternative if we didn't plan to use the chimney in the future- just seal it off. I agreed. The 'less expensive' alternative lasted 1-2 months. It turns out it was a piece of sheet metal glued down to the top of the flue. It blew off on the first 'windy day'. I contacted the contractor and she offered to send someone back out to fix it, but took the opportunity to remind me that I took the 'cheap' alternative.

We moved into a new ( to us ) home and it had a fireplace. We wanted to have it inspected before we used it. The technician arrived on time, was knowledgeable and courteous.

The personnel were prompt, courteous, informative. They took steps to protect floor and area around chimney from dirt and debris, and left the room very clean. We were pleased with their performance.

The gentleman was on time called first to let me know when to expect him. Did his job competently and was polite and friendly.

At the time, the cost of the the work seemed reasonable to us. They seemed knowledgeable and arrived when expected. I was reassured by the owner's listing as a Certified Chimney Sweep. They did not, however, clean up the yard after scraping off the old mortar cap. They just left all that debris in the grass. Whatever. Our low rating comes from the fact that the work did not last as long as it should have. Some of the fireplace mortar crumbled after ~3 years. And maybe after ~4 years, the mounting for the chimney damper came loose. The mortar cap isn't holding together real well, either. AND, when I looked to see if Denise Reeves (the owner) was in fact listed with the Chimney Sweep organization whose icon she includes on her invoice, well, I never could find a listing for her. That makes me suspicious that she isn't everything we had hoped.

The first time they came out, they were not able to inspect the chimney. It was taller than the ladder they brought. I had to reschedule. However due to vacations and other commitments it was several weeks before able to reschedule this service. They came out the same day to clean and inspect. I was told there was no flashing on the lower part of my chimney. They gave me an estimate of $500.00. If it leaks I'll have to have repaired. I will call them next year for cleaning.

The service man was very prompt, appeared quite competent and congenial. He thoroughly explained ever step and answered any additional questions. He provided different options for the drain pan replacement for me to decide which option I wanted to go with based on durability, price, etc. As near as I can tell , from ground level, the job was well done and looks very professional. As far as the price of the rain pan, I do not know if it was a reasonable price or not, but I do know that stainless steel is expensive. The service man cleaned up after himself, and the job was actually completed ahead of the projected schedule. I would definitely recommend this service provider and will use them again in the future. I am very pleased with the results.
