This company was great! It has been obvious to me they are experts in their field. Very professional and clear in explaining to me what was needed and why the work was necessary. I never felt pressured to have work done that was not necessary. I would definitely use them again and will be happy to refer my family and friends

Great job. On time, friendly, and professional. Answered all our questions, and explained what the job before hand.

Gave us a quote over the phone with range for cleaning (dirtier chimney costs more). Called about 20 minutes before arriving. Very polite and professional, kept an eye out for our cat to make sure she didn't escape. Took care not to make a mess in my house. Free chimney inspection with the cleaning. Gave us some tips to extend the life of our rain pan so we won't have to replace for a few more years, saving us some money in the future. Business is local for us, and we like to hire local. Will definitely use them in the future.

Didn't use them - lots of blather but would not give me either a quote or an estimate. I googled more options & used someone else - went well!

Truck was in area and come same day, with materials on truck to cut and place. Did not compare costs with others, but appreciated quick and accurate work. My main concern was wood fire safety, and crew examined chimney as well as doing work requested, so worth cost in peace of mind.

Maybe I did misunderstand her, because I didn't hear it the way she said it, don't recall hearing her say anything about a free bid. But, as I said before I was satisfied with everything except the upfront charges and I accept that it was due to me not having a clear understanding of what was said. I Just had the first rain since Mr. Waylon put the storm collar on, and as I said before Mr. Waylon seemed very knowledgeable I want to give props to him and report that adding the storm collar solved the problem. Obviously, my first review was premature and inaccurate. It was based on my misunderstanding. And I want to add that if all of A Advanced Chimney Service, service Techs are as skilled as Mr. Waylon they are a good choice to call when you need chimney problems. Only, unlike me, make sure you clearly understand what to expect for the charges.

As for as the service the young man, Waylon was pleasant and appeared to have done a great job I can’t go on the roof nor can I check behind him. They haven’t given me all the picture they promised. I have a few pictures. I have called Waylon twice and no response from him nor no voice mail available for me to leave a message. The owner; Denise is a lier who accusing me of wanting her to write up a false invoice in which I have asked her to give to me to submit to my insurance, She text me a bunch of lies tonight as if I have asked her to write a false invoice with more money on the invoice than what it coast. I don’t even know this woman I got here from your list and never even seen her. She was telling me she could up the price, because she normally charge about $6,500.00 to $7.000.00. She has failed to give me any invoice so now she’s worried I won’t to take her to court. This is not what I was thinking, I just need my paper work to give to my insurance company and a copy of my credit card receipt. She told me I don’t got a credit card receipt. This is so hard to deal with after I have paid them $4,000.00 in full. I’m very stressed out from dealing with this women. She has several excuses why she couldn’t seen me my paper work. One day it’s her animals having surgery to now death in the family. How hard is it to just do your **** job.

The Problem: I had a leak in my living room ceiling. I thought I needed the chimney repointed. I could not find a contractor on Angies List search who does that kind of work. I wrote to AL’s member services. They gave me a list of contractors. I selected A-Advanced Chimney Service. They were the only ones who specifically listed that as a service. The Inspection: They came and did a free inspection. They determined the Chimney Chase Cover was rusted with holes allowing water to enter. It needed to be replaced. They also offered “Flash Seal” a tar like sealant for the flashing. And “Chimney Saver” a clear water repellent sealer for the brick. I agreed to their estimate for everything. It also included a Chimney Cap. The Work: The work was done in one day. Tony the installer is very experienced and knowledgeable. I was surprised. Tony climbed up on the roof at about 11:00am and didn’t come down until around 5:00pm. The Execution: - The Chimney Cap is not plumb. It leans like the leaning tower of Pisa. I didn’t notice this until much later. - There was little cleanup. Months later I’m still finding screws and pieces of some tarred mesh material on the ground. - When Tony and his helper Tim arrived for the inspection they tore apart a sofa cushion. They needed it’s foam to keep from slipping on the roof. They didn’t remove all the padding. To this day I have white pieces of padding stuck to the roof shingles. - I called the manager Denise about this a couple of times. The first time she said she would send Tony over to fix the leaning cap and clean up. Tony never showed. Now with the Covid-19 situation she says she’ll send Tony over when things return to normal. - Lastly, during the install Tony needed a 1/4” drill screw driver. His was worn. I loaned him one. I didn’t get it back. Not a big deal but the rest of this is totally unsatisfactory. The Result: The ceiling no longer leaks.

terrible company... my mother is 90 years old and lives alone and the fix did not work and they told her at the time that if anything didn't work they would come out and fix for free... only about 2 months ago, the original price was a rip off price she found out later. she called them today and the receptionist ( the rudest person to my mother and to me) she would not listened but kept interrupting and said that they would NOT come back out for free. ANGIES LIST MOST DEFINITELY NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS COMPANY FROM YOUR LIST OF COMPANIES AND ESPECIALLY TO INCLUDE THEM IN " TOP 10 IN GAINESVILLE, GA) is a terrible injustice to your customers. These people do not know how to run a legitimate company... My mother has a detail invoice from them and the list which included what she said that didn't do ( put mortar around cap)

It was quick and he explained what he was doing. On time and price was agreeable.

Flue clean went very well. Technician was unable to remove old lighter after best effort. I commend A Advance for their professionalism in admitting they did not have required expertise and declined further efforts.

From the first phone call to the end of installation, this company and owner were amazing. They answered all my questions on time and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone and I have.

Derick was great fast and very knowledgeable Denise was great too I had a problem with my card and she worked with me to get it straightened out only took an hour but great people to work with

Job done, Not satisfied with her person that took my order,She needs to take a course on customer service.

The cost of this project was $1200. Siding and molding was to be repaired and I paid $600 for materials before the work was started. The work took nearly 3 days to complete and was told the job did not include painting which I had wrongly assumed. I paid the remaining $600 and searched for a painter. I am disabled and trusted the work was properly done. When I found someone to do the painting he pointed out the errors in the repair such as large gaps in the siding and incorrect molding used around chimney. There was a railing on the deck not anchored creating a safety hazard. I am now trying to find someone to repair the repair.

The cap was replaced. As a result of the worker leaning his ladder against the gutter to get to the roof, the gutter was damaged. Several attempts were made to contact the company to resolve the problem. At first they said they would get back to us how they would resolve the issue. It would have been a relatively inexpensive easy fix but the company decided instead to ignore our further requests to have this fixed. Not very professional at all.

overall really well. However, it shocked me that a little putty knife and a couple of ounces of fireplace mortar repair took 10 minutes and $150. I think that is price gouging.

They did a great job with the cleaning and inspection. I appreciate that they were straightforward and honest about what was done, and did not try to oversell anything.

Denise was terrific to communicate with - I appreciated her responsiveness, friendliness, and how she explained what was needed / costs without over explaining. Straight forward and to the point, but thorough as well. We recently moved into a house and our fireplace / chimney needed an inspection before gas logs were installed. A couple of the panels in the fireplace needed replacing and sealant was done as well. They were efficient and we're very happy with the end result!

They showed up the next day and were very professional and quick to fix the problem. Of curse time will tell if what they did has corrected all of the problem. The price was much higher than I expected for work that took less than 2 hours. Of course I wanted the problem fixed quickly and did not want to wait to get multiple quotes so I have no way of comparing their price to their competitors. I am just happy that they could get the work done so fast.

I don't understand why this company is still here. I paid ~3000 for fixing leak, but leak has been actively for over 5 years and Denise's company constantly came out for over 20 times, but they never fixed the leak problem but blamed its roof problem. After taking money from you, Denise was good at finding excuses and blamed others. Stay away from this company if you don't want to get into what I experienced with Denise.

The technician showed up on time, inspected the chimney, and cleaned the gas logs. Since I needed a tutorial on using the fireplace, he showed me what to do and very patiently let me light the fire several times with supervision. He advised me that I should consider purchasing a chimney cap, but under no circumstances did I feel as though he was pressuring me to make a purchase.

Very friendly and cleaned everything up when they were finished like they were never even there.
