Description of Work: Replaced kitchen sink faucet, replaced 2 bathroom faucets, cleaned shower drain, replaced the bathroom tank kits (not the entire workings). The cost above includes the fixtures and supplies. They were very efficient, except that the fixture I had previously purchased was not picked up at the supplier, so there was some lost time while that was arranged w/ the owner; however, the crew moved on to take care of all the other jobs first and were very clean, did a great job, and were both professional and polite. I was very pleased, but somewhat shocked at the cost for replacement of the toilet tank kits (which I could have done myself, and saved a few hundred dollars).

Description of Work: According to the list, I was expecting more than I got. I do not think I got a thorough inspection, but I quickly was told I had a cheap unit installed at the time of my house being built and that I need an entirely new system that they will be glad to install at a price greater than what Absco Fireplaces of Pelham said was comparatively high and gave me a referral to someone who could install at half the price they quoted. I am now afraid that I need a second opinion on the inspection.

Description of Work: They came out and attempted to clear the drain in the kitchen. Suggested I either call septic company or re-plumb the kitchen. Price quoted was 30% higher than the other three quotes I received. Glad I checked around for other options. Ended up using a different company to pump the septic tank and clear the line (1/3rd the price of what was recommended)

Description of Work: We purchased one of the big deals. 1 hour of plumbing service for $39.00. They contacted me to setup a time and all of that went well enough. On the scheduled day they had said they would be here between 10:00 and 12:00. At about 1:00 I sent them a message asking what was up and to get an arrival eta. At around 5:00 I got a voice mail saying they could not do my service since I was out of their area. So I sent another message asking for an explanation, as I was clearly in Jefferson County and they listed Jefferson and Shelby counties as their service area, and why did it take five days for someone to figure that out. Later that day I get a call from them saying the message was a mistake and we rescheduled the service for Saturday. Friday morning they called to see if the service could be completed that day. Since my wife was home I told them to come out. The plumber showed up when they said they would. They work took a little longer than an hour, we paid the difference and everything appears to be working so far.

Description of Work: Replaced a bathroom sink. They did a good job. Showed up on time this time. They didn't show up on the first scheduled visit because of another job that apparently took too long. That's fine but they didn't call me to tell me they'd have to reschedule.

Description of Work: Service performed was to use my toilet plunger to clear sink, & tub drain because they don't work on my old style of tub P-trap. I could have done the plunger without paying them to clean out tub drain. Not worth $39, which was paid thru Angie's List Deal.

Description of Work: I used Cahaba Plumbing on two occasions, first to replace an outdoor faucet and second to replace a lavatory faucet which required replacing the drain pipe and popup mechanism. Both jobs were completed quickly though we did trade a few calls getting scheduled. We have experienced no problems with either repair and I would use Cahaba Plumbing again. I did not include cost as these jobs were done using Angie's List deals so I do not know what their normal charge would be.
