The work was done in a timely and professional manner.

It was bad. I paid about $450 on top of what I paid for the Big Deal. The quality of their work was okay but the way they charge is not reasonable. Their responsiveness was good. Their professionalism was average.

It was great. I didn't have to pay any more. They were as expected. They didn't do anything exceptional but they did the work well. They were right on time. If a friend asked me about them, I would tell them that they do good work.

They were careful not to harm the surrounding building materials while fixing the problem.

The installation went smoothly and the faucet is working well, but scheduling was a bit of a problem. When I purchased the service, I put down three dates that we were available, but the company didn't really communicate until after the dates had passed. When we finally set a date, I received a call the day of that service could not be performed that day. Several employees had gotten sick and all jobs were running behind. That was fine, but it was still a little tricky to get rescheduled. I'm happy enough with the work and pricing of the specials, though, that I'll use this company again.

I purchased this deal to be used for a toilet repair, however they were not able to apply this deal to that job due to some particular parts that were needed. They told me I could use this deal in the future. The plumbers who came to perform the work were very pleasant. I called them a few weeks later when my garbage disposal went out. I tried to make contact with them many times, but was never called back. I ended up repairing the garbage disposal myself.

After purchasing the deal online late Sat 10/24/15 I received an email from the owner Jan telling me someone could perform the service Monday 10/26/15. I was pleased. The technician arrived on Monday. I will spare the technician the embarrassment of most of the details but I was told that I needed a new gas valve...it did not go well. So much so that I called the owner to tell him we would not be doing business and that I would ask for a refund from Angie's list. He politely asked for details since this technician was a new hire and that as a business owner it was important to him. After my explanation he asked if he could please send another technician out the following morning free of charge as he wanted to make this right. I agreed. A gentleman named Greg arrived at 9:30 and was directed to my fireplace. I told him to have at it as I would continue my housework and be within ear shot. At 9:50 Greg called me into the room and said everything was ready to go explaining that a safety feature had been enabled. I couldn't believe it! I was quickly reminded how important it is to speak directly with a business owner in these situations. So now, not only does Jan's company have my future business for my fireplace needs but also any plumbing needs or any services his business performs. I was more than happy to cancel my refund request from Angie's list and write this honest and positive review instead!

Gregg was on time, very professional, installed the new faucet, took the old one away. He cleaned up after himself and even took time to explain to me the need to keep a small plastic tool provided with new faucet to remove the aerator in the new faucet. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work performed and the punctuality and professionalism of the provider.

He was very prompt and professional. He cleaned and checked my gas logs. Now the gas logs work great!

I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Cahaba Plumbing did for me. Jan (owner) stopped a couple days prior to the date when the work was to be performed in order to see where I (and wife) wanted the laundry tub to go and what it entailed. After closely looking at the location (in the mud room, opposite of the half bath in the man cave), he strongly recommended an alternative location in the garage, close to the main sewer line and easier access to the water lines (not too mention the fact that none of the dry-wall would have to be cut into). On the day of the install, Jan sent one of his men over to do the work, and as I expected he (I believe his name was Greg) was very professional and went right to work. Even though he didn't have to, Greg secured my cheap laundry tub (bought one that had all the connections) to the garage wall and to the concrete floor. He did have to go out over lunch to get a couple of connectors/parts that he didn't have with him, but I wasn't in a hurry and in the end the laundry tub install was properly and efficiently. I will definitely hire Cahaba Plumbing again without thinking twice.

I think they are very qualified--it took quite a bit for them to come in, and one time they didn't show as scheduled after I arranged to have off work--they are efficient and knowledgeable... so if you are patient, you can consider them...

The technician was a couple of hours late, but the company called and kept me informed as to why he was late and when he would be coming. The technician was very professional and quickly installed the toilet. The old toilet was removed without any issues. The entire process was about 30 minutes or less. I would definitely use this company again.

They honored the deal but I wasn't real happy with it. They gave me a hard time about it. They tried to baby switch me. I'm sure they are a good plumbing company but I will never call them again. What they did for me was fine and the deal was fine but the price they quoted me for some other work I thought was high.

Cahaba plumbing did great work. They were honest and professional. He gave me a real assessment, took off the discount as advertised by the coupon, and completed work just as they said they would.

We were experiencing minor plumbing issues like sinks not draining well and dripping faucets. We also ave a water heater which makes very strange noises when hot water is needed. It sounds similiar to a thunderstorm. He recommended to buy a new heater.

The Cahaba Plumbing representative arrived on time and worked very hard to clean a 107-year-old sewer line that was full of small roots. The sewer cleaning blade got stuck in the sewer line and it took a lot of effort to get it free. I was pleased with the diligence and professionalism of this company and would use them again.

I had problems earlier this year and they came and installed a valve for easy access to my sewer line. I thought I had a leak in my sewer system but it turned out to be the county's main line. Hired someone to pressure wash my deck and they couldn't get water from the faucet. I had not used the water faucet all year. So I called Jan and he came out the next day. All it required was for him to turn the valve back on. Took him less than 10 seconds. While it was their fault and it required a phone call on my part, he was prompt in coming to see what happened. He is a very honest person and yes, I would use him again.

Owner answered the phone and had someone on the job within an hour. Very professional and cleaned up after they finished.

He was very thorough. Not only did he replace all three outdoor faucets and isolation valves, repaired 2 leaks, but he found another leak and replaced the T with the newest material being used in plumbing that is not supposed to break if frozen. He tested the pressure saying it was on the low side, but enough, and recommended that we consider replacing the supply PRV since it was so old. He didn't adjust it saying that the CS parts may have rusted which might cause the valve to break when moved. We decided not to take that chance and look at it another time. He did not rush through the job, and explained everything he did. I would definitely use their service again.

The job was terrible. The first provider that came out didn't have the correct equipment, the snake he brought was a kitchen snake and not a sewer snake so obviously he wasn't able to get the job done.This man actually did some damage to my property by hitting the brick with a grinder because of the lack of correct equipment to open the drain cap. The following day another man came but he also came with the wrong equipment. The snake this company is using is not the 100ft snake that is required by code in order to clean out sewers and perform the work they claim they are equipped for. Aside from not getting the job done and wasting my time, this company is asking for an extra $100 for the time they spent working even though nothing got accomplished. I regret using this company and would like a refund as I paid for a service that was never completed. I have found another plumber who was able to get the job done in 40 minutes with the correct equipment and for $150 total.

Called Cahaba Plumbing after 5pm on Tuesday, Jan answered the phone, explained to him we had a very old house and very little pressure in two of our 5 toilets that another larger company could not fix after coming out three times. Jan came out the very next day and rearranged his schedule for the following day to have two of his 'best'men (Greg and Bill ) available to work in a very tight space; moved a water heater to gain access, removed a cook top and down draft, etc.....They spent nearly 7 hours working non stop and at the end of the day we have two toilets that flush so amazingly well that we will probably have them back out to do the rest. We actually celebrated the results over dinner at Highlands. Thank you very much Jan, Greg and Bill for a job well done!

Good luck getting them to stick to an appointment. I have had 3 appointments, and they were no-shows for all of them. First was scheduled on a Friday at 1030 am. Jan called to confirm the appointment the day before. No show the day of and no call to cancel or re-schedule. I had to message the company thru Angie's List to get another appointment. It was set for 100 on a weekday. I called and confirmed the appointment with Heather a half hour before the appointment. Took time off from work and drove 30 minutes to get home. An hour and 15 minutes later, no show again. That put me an hour and 40 minutes off from work with no pay. Called and Jan said he was having lunch and would reimburse me for my mileage. Told him I would only schedule 800 am appointment in future. Had an 800 appointment for TODAY. Again, no show and no call. It is now 940 and I still have no message from Cahaba Plumbing. VERY unprofessional not to call a client, a client who has ALREADY PAID for the service.

Job well done by guys who showed up to do the repair. I was using an Angie's list coupon, but the discount wasn't applied until a month or more later. I had to call and email Jan weekly to finally get him to actually refund my money and apply the coupon. I'm pretty sure he lied about putting a refund check in the mail for me. It never came, ever, and he said the post office must have lost it.... Finally he left a refund check at my house....it was like pulling teeth to get him to fulfill his promises and honor the coupon I already paid for, which was the only reason I was using him. He was also hard to get a hold of for the initial appointment. He kept making promises to call me on a certain day to set the appointment and never did until I called him enough times. $250 for the job $39 for the coupon (about $100 value for 1 hour of service)

It went great! We already had the garbage disposal and just needed it installed. Work was done in no time at all, and everything works and looks fantastic.
