They did a good job cleaning the pipes.

They did pretty good work. They had to clear the downstairs bathroom drain. He told me I had a blockage somewhere under the house. He ran a router through and cleared the stoppage.

To date, this installation of a larger expansion tank seems to do the trick. No water leakage. Repairmen were very professional and cleaned up area after work was done. Upon leaving, they said if it leaked any at all to give them a call and this was reassuring for me. I would definitely use Allen & Bill again.

I purchased a special for 1 hour of plumbing work for $39. The service was provided promptly and professionally. I have used this company for several things and highly recommend them.

I had been turning this faucet on & off with a pair of pliers for over 2 years, so when I saw this deal, I jumped on it. Two gentlemen arrived from Cahaba Plumbing a little bit later than the appointed time, but once they arrived, it only took them a few minutes to locate the cut-off and install a new faucet. They even offered to haul off some scrap metal that was cluttering up the turnaround, so I was very pleased and they went on their way to their next appointment...............

I had an Angiest list coupon and it proved very valuable with a great service with this professional. They very professional and pleasant to deal with and did a quality job. About a month later when I complained of the pressure being a little too high, they gladly came in after the first call to correct the pressure and got everything fixed to our satisfaction. They also offered some good advice on other plumbing work around the house. I would surely recommend them for any household plumbing jobs.

The serviceman was professional and worked quickly. He was knowledgeable and cleaned up the mess in the shower. As he was leaving he tightened a loose screw in the door knob which was an added bonus!

They came and tubed up my gas fireplace and logs and provided a key to fit the on off valve that provides the gas

They were good to work with. They were quick to get back to me. They were able to come out the next day I called and they were very helpful in the appointment.

I bought a $100 service credit for $45. Called him about drain backing up. He was responsive and prompt. He came out and attempted to clear the line with a snake unsuccessfully. He used a camera without a locator to get an idea of the location of the problem. For this, he charged $375. Minus the coupon, I was out $320. He said "one of his guys" had a camera with a locator and could come out the next day. We met the next day and waited for this person for 3 hours before giving up. About an hour later, he called me and said we could meet. This person (actually a different company) came out and ran the camera with the locator into the pipe and located the blockage. For that, I paid another $250. I was now out of pocket $570. The blockage was in the front yard about 8 feet deep. Estimates to dip up the problem were in the $5000 range. I wanted a second opinion, so I contacted Roto Rooter. They came out and did the exact same work (attempt to snake and used camera with a locator) in one visit for a total cost of $250. I ended up using Roto Rooter to fix the problem. I feel completely ripped off by Cahaba Plumbing. $570 vs. $250 for the exact same work. Not to mention that Roto Rooter sent out a 2 person crew, and Cahaba is a one person company.

The serviceman was supposed to check out the logs and burner, clean everything and then light the pilot. He sprayed a mixture of water and dish detergent (which he asked me to provide), and said "Everything is ok". He did not clean anything. I expected him to remove all the logs and vacuum or something. He lit the pilot. He told me he was also supposed to check my water pressure. He put a gauge on the water heater and said it was too low, so he made some sort of adjustment even though I told him I was nervous about adjusting the pressure because several of my neighbors have had problems with the water pressure regulator. He went on the with adjustment. He told me I need to replace my gas logs because they were a "cheap set" - which I agreed to. He told me where to buy new logs and quoted me a price of $225 for installing them. I did replace them but for an installation price of $125. I felt like he misled me on his price because as I checked around I did not find anyone that expensive. I will not contact this provider again.

I purchased a deal from Angie's List for a service call and $100 worth of labor. Jan called me and was very helpful. He recommended a place to purchase the new toilet and even picked it up and brought it over for us.The two guys who did the work were quick, professional and did a great job.

I ended not having the work done because of unforseen circumstances.

The technician arrived and was nice and attentive. I didn't have all the parts that was needed to install the filter. The technician volunteered to go with me to the supply store to buy the parts that was needed. After the missing parts were purchased it took 15 min and the job was done.

The guys were really nice. I used a "Super Deal" coupon so it was very affordable. For the minor work I probably would have tried a little harder before making a regular $125 service call.

Jan was prompt and extremely helpful in my panicked state. We were told by our Home Warranty plan that we would have to spend $1400, obviously this was not covered by the plan. We called around and talked with several plumbers and Jan was very honest with us and he came Saturday and all of a sudden, our $1400 job was only a $150 job. We appreciate his help!

We have had a slow drain line and it finally stopped. I had been trying to clear it myself with chemicals and a snake, but I could not get it clear. So, I broke down and called the plumber one morning and met him at the house at about 4pm in the afternoon. He looked at the problem and tried to clear the drain with no luck. The pipes were very old galvanized steel and they said they could replace them all that day. So, three hours later, we were ready to wash clothes again. The contractor was very honest and direct about what our options were and they did not hesitate to fix it immediately. They were there until after 7pm in the evening. As with most plumbing problems, the price seemed high, but the service was so good, I didn't mind so much. I plan to use them again for replacing some fixtures.

They seemed to work very efficiently and I think everything was done very well. They did a few extra things that we needed but didn't include in the original quote for no extra cost. They didn't really clean up after themselves though, so I had to clean my house thoroughly when they were done.

The primary labor involved the removal of the upstairs toilet and replacement by the new one. I asked the cost of the new toilet and he responded that it would cost $600 to acquire, apart from the removal of the old and the installation of the new. The total statement came to $1,100. I thought it a bit high but my granddaughter, her husband, their little baby and my son and his wife will be arriving at my home on Friday of this week for a stay of several days, and the work outlined simply had to be done. I was pleased with the work and with the capabilities of Cahaba and would use them again if and when necessary. ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED ON 10/1/2014 AND 10/2/2014.
