The experience was very good. There weren’t any extra charges.

He said it was a liability and not to use it. And he gave another company to contact to fix it.

The provider arrived on time. He fixed the drain, cleaned the area and was in and out in ten minutes.

My disposal had quit working a while back and I was planning it have it removed and new plumbing under the sink as a result but when their representative came out he was able to just fix the disposal instead. I am very happy with their prompt and friendly service and I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors and use them again in the future.

I was told business was heavy. May have to put another crew on would have to play it by ear. I have never received another word from them. I hope you have not sent them my $99.00 because I want it back. No other service required of them.

I talked to him twice. I received a message asking for my phone number. I explained it was my basement draining slow. He said he would call back and didn’t. I had to call him back and kept getting a voicemail. I have been waiting 2 days for the service and requesting a refund.

Jan is knowledgeable and friendly. He has many years of experience, and knows how to do the job right. I would use him again in a situation like this.

My experience with them was good. They came out and were on time. Their final bill was about I had expected. They were here about an hour and fixed the garage. They were punctual and reasonably priced.

These guys are "johnny on the spot" received a call within 24 hours of purchasing and the technician was out at the house the following day. Technician showed up and accessed the situation and identified the parts needed. Left for a few hours to go to supply house and returned later in the day to correct. 20 mins on 1st visit and 20 mins on the 2nd to install/replace valves, actually replaced with better quick connect "shark bite" style fittings. As of now the service was great with, quick response, friendly technician, 5 stars all around. The reason for my lower rating is the amount I was charged, Had already paid for the service call with the $39 AngiesList Deal coupon but then was billed more which added up to little over $300. For less than 1 hour of labor, and 3 cutoff valves it just seems it was rather expensive. I took them at their word and wrote a check not thinking a whole lot about it except for the fact I thought that was a whole lot more than I expected based on having the "Angies list deal". I live in a nice house in a nice area so seems to me that probably influenced the increased price. Valves could not have been more that $25 a piece and since I had already paid for a service call you can see the math does not make sense to get us up to $300. Good thing is the leak is fixed and done. Prompt and Courteous but pricey would be my assessment.

The service was prompt and professional. The job was well done. We would use Cahaba Plumbing again without hesitation.

This was a complete waste of time and money. Tech lit logs, no cleaning was done. Adjusted sand slightly. Not at all what I expected he was here all of ten minutes . I was supposed to be contacted in advance to set appt. instead tech called to be sure I was home on a date not previously discussed. I feel ripped off with this whole service

They were great. They were very professional. They came right and took care of us in a minimal amount of time. They were very professional. They came out, didn't try to sell us anything extra. He was a little late.

The men were there when promised and were very personable and polite. However, I felt the ad was misleading regarding the services to be provided. I was appalled that the toilet was moved and not even put back over the flange with the comment that it wasn't usable anyway. This was a very expensive introduction that left me with more work than when they came. They were very nice people but I will not use them again.

In several years, this was my first less-than-satisfactory experience with an Angie's List provider. (Previous experience has included roofing, appliance, septic tank, flooring, electrical and other services.) Exceeded estimate by $200, leaving me with a whopping $415 after a coupon that supposedly included a service call and $100 in labor. Plumber left all the trash, replaced parts etc. lying there under the sink, didn't wipe up the black gunk on the marble counter top, tracked in grease on new carpet, seemed annoyed when I pointed out and had to borrow cleaner to get it up. On first visit, left his tools in the truck and had to borrow mine to take it apart. Oh,and the sink is still leaking. I don't like leaving a negative review, but Angie's List is reliable because the reviews are real.

They charged me $250 for the garbage disposal, $100 for installation, and $95 for a parts and work for the vanity. The owner said the Big Deal was included included in the price. The receipt was written on a piece of note book paper by hand. The worker apologized and said he can only do what his boss says. The workers were very polite.

I am a do it yourself kind of guy. I am a mechanic by trade so I am very good with my hands and own lots of tools. I had an old hot water heater that needed replacing. I thought I had a pretty good plan for swapping out the unit. My plan included having to sweat in some copper pipe. Not being completely comfortable with sweating copper pipe I thought I would get a plumber to perform that part of the process. When I went through the process of using Angie's list it was easy and well worth the effort. I purchased a $45 coupon from Cahaba Plumbing for a plumber to visit the house with a $100 credit toward the repair bill. Through this process I did not leave a phone number to contact me. Jan White was the plumber with Cahaba. He received the info from Angie's list but had no way of calling me to set up the visit. He goes to all of the trouble of calling numbers in the phone book and leaving messages in hopes of getting lucky and making contact with right person. Not sure I would have gone to all that trouble. Right off the bat I was extremely impressed with that type if integrity and professionalism. This is a busy time for plumbers, with the cold and pies freezing. My description of work was very small and not very profitable to the plumber. Finally we got together and he showed up at the house when he said he would and looked over the project. I informed him I was a do it yourselfer and showed him my plan. He looked at me with that look, you know the one" ROOKIE ". But that still did not deter his professionalism and Integrity. He showed me what I needed to do to meet code, what parts I needed, where to get them, and helped me order them. I know good people and good service when I see it. I have been in the service business most of my adult life. With his help, I had a successful project. I only had to fix 2 leaks 2 times ( rookie my foot). Thanks Angie's List. If you folks ever need a Plumber, you cannot go wrong with Jan White and Cahaba Plumbing. Great people.

Excellent, highest rating! They will be my plumbing service of choice. I was very impressed with them. friendly, competent, and finished the job promptly. Didn't draw things out.

The p-trap under my bathroom sink had corrosion and when I took it off to replace with a PVC trap, I noticed the line coming from the wall was also heavily corroded and I could no longer join the parts. So I figured I needed a plumber with more skills so I bought this Big Deal. Once scheduled after all of the cold and leaks around town, Bill and another gentleman arrived on time yesterday. They looked at the issue, agreed that the older connecting pipe could likely be salvaged once they cut off the corroded part so they sawed it off, cleaned the buildup of rust and dirt (???) out, used my supplied rubber connector, did other stuff under the sink, then tested the water flow, drainage and made sure there were no leaks. They also fixed the drainage for the tub in the same bathroom. All included for no extra charge.

I thought I had a water leak in the back property that joins the Country Club fairway and purchased an Angie's list coupon with Cahaba Plumbing. I was shocked when Jan turned up a few hours later to talk to me because I neglected to leave my phone #!! He walked out to the back deck and immediately told me that he smelled sewer! My deck is high above the ground because of the way the ground slopes. Because of the frozen liquid, I did not smell anything strong earlier when I checked the leak; only knew that the leak appeared to be from my property. By that time, the liquid had thawed enough to enable us to really smell the sewer. So I called the country club to get permission to use their golf cart lane so the plumber could get his equipment there. It ended up being a leak in the main line on the country club property and not mine! So Jan called the management, marked the spot where the leak was, and told them the depth of the pipe. He said they were very short with him. Meanwhile Jan installed a clean out valve in the event I ever had a problem so they could use a camera to pinpoint a future leak. All in all, it cost me $300 ( including the $100 discount Angie's list coupon). $200 went to the company who brought the equipment to dig the pipe and the balance to Jan. I found this company to be very fair. I had absolutely no problem with communication because he always kept me apprised of the situation. I would definitely hire them again. As an aside, I am going to attempt to recoup the money for the equipment people since the problem was on the country club property and not mine.

I reached out to them several times. The very first thing was that he was so busy that he couldn't come out to the home for a couple weeks. The time came for him to come out and he didn't end up coming out. We played phone tag for another week or more. He finally called one day and asked if I could do it "this afternoon" but I'm very busy and couldn't do it on such short notice. I was too far away for me to go out to that location. It was right around thanksgiving. I decided because of this, that it would be better to just go ahead and cancel the deal.
