A BETTER SVC CO LLC

Description of Work: I use A BETTER SVC CO LLC for heating and A/c services. Lightening chipped a breaker and I didn't know how to get it back on and they came out the day I called them and got everything working. We've used them for many many years.

Description of Work: They came to do a yearly inspection on the furnace they installed last year. I haven't yet been billed. They were more thorough, knowledgeable and professional than the stupid company my home "warranty" company sent to me about my a/c last year. I will likely be cancelling my home warranty because of the lousy companies they send and staying with A Better Service Company.

Description of Work: My air conditioning went out and after contacting them, they came out the next day. A few minor issues were found and corrected and the a/c worked for a week or so. It then went out again and after contacting them they came out that day. They found 3 leaks in my 21 year old compressor and advised a new unit. They were able to install the unit the following day. The technician was very courteous and professional.

Description of Work: I'll simplify things. Heater had not been working well and I know I needed some crawlspace ductwork repaired (as in it had fallen to the ground). Well....truth was, I needed a whole new unit as mine had reached 17 years of age and the burners had actually rusted away. I called A BETTER SVC CO LLC, and they came out on the coldest day of the year (WITH SNOW) and in one day they replaced my unit, re-duct'd (sic) my whole home and added vents. They were professional, polite and MOST OF ALL effective. The new unit was affordable and has really changed our entire home as it is now cool in the Summer and warm in the winter. I can not put into words just how happy I was with this company.

Description of Work: You know, when the air conditioning goes out in your home, there are two thoughts that arise almost simultaneously. They are ~ 1) This is going to be expensive ~ and ~ 2) I've got to get this fixed ... it's just too hot in here. But the first thought pretty much overrides all the other considerations. Well, I called. Had to. And the service tech came. And he knew immediately what was wrong and went about fixing the problem. He even added a "fusable link" to prevent the extent of damage the next time. That still left the cost consideration to fester over the next week. I dreaded getting the bill. Nice guy, prompt service, pleasant conversation, efficient and immediate service. I knew I was going to get hammered. The bill arrived on the following Friday. $189.00. That was IT !! This was more than reasonable. It's downright cheap. Call them. They're fair, curteous and efficient. You won't be sorry.
