Description of Work: Had a refrigerant leak in my four-year-old heat pump that was so slow it was very hard to find. I had two service calls to charge the refrigerant level before the leak was found in the inside (AHU) coil. They replaced the coil under the manufacturer's warranty and refunded the amount I paid on the previous two service calls they made before the leak was found. I ended up having to pay labor (which was outside the contractor's one year warranty on their labor and workmanship) on the coil replacement but that's the way it works. I was treated fairly.

Description of Work: Installation of new shower head, drain, and faucet. My tub is old and they had to locate the part so it wouldn't require tearing into my tile. They found the part and installed once it came in. I appreciate not having to tear up my tile as that would have been more expense.

Great. They were courteous, timely and thorough. The technician even called someone else out to verify his assessment which they all agreed on.
Description of Work: I wanted a second opinion on an HVAC issue. They came right out and offered their opinion, and actually showed me that the previous HVAC technician was wrong (which I saw with my own eyes).

We called them because we weren't sure what the problem was. The guy knew what it was right away. The price seemed very reasonable for everything that he did.

I didn't like this company. When they did it, they had an apprentice with them. He let the apprentice do the actual work, but then he didn't come back and supervise it. Over the weekend it broke at the connection to the pipe. I had to spend the weekend with the pipe spraying in my wall. They came on a Friday, I found it on a Sunday. Their on-call guy came out and fixed that one place, but he was not at all gracious about it. He was really rather ugly about it. When that one failed, I wanted the other side fixed. I called them on Monday and asked them to come fix the other side. They did, but they came at 6 or 7 o'clock at night by the time they came out there. While they did it, they were not real happy about doing it and they charged me. I think the whole thing should have been free because they didn't do it right the first time.
Description of Work: They replaced the on-off valve to my clothes washer.

Response from Trinity Contractors, Inc.
Upon receipt of this complaint, I researched our records to find the customer is correct in that we did replace the valve to her washer and dryer water supply on July 17, 2008 (not the September time frame she lists). None the less, she did contact us on Sunday to report it was leaking again although she could not say for sure when it started leaking, only that she had just noticed it. She assumes it leaked over the entire weekend. We did not find any evidence of that. We immediately sent our on-call technician out to repair the valve again at no charge to her. The call she references that she was charged for was the additional valve replacement, which was not in any way associated with the initial repair. We performed only the repairs requested in the initial visit, which is why there was an additional charge for the additional work on Monday. Obviously she was not charged for the time on Sunday associated with the repeat repair. Also, as for the reference to the time of day in which we responded on Monday, our records reflect the customer requested us to come out after 5:30 p.m. to accommodate her work schedule. We responded accordingly with the first available technician after the requested time frame. Finally, the member did not mention any of the items pertaining to the behavior and/or attitudes of the technicians until now, despite calling us two more times in relation to the services performed. In reference to the technician's behavior, unfortunately I cannot address that issue at this time, as that particular employee is no longer with us. Had the customer notified us of the matter when it happened I can assure you it would have been addressed immediately. We do not tolerate such behavior in our operation. Unfortunately, over a year later is a little difficult to address such an issue. At Trinity Contractors, we strive to provide the utmost in quality service at a competitive rate and with the customers' satisfaction in mind at all times. We sincerely regret that the member feels as though she had a bad experience, but we did in fact warranty the original repair. I fail to see where we have performed poorly in that respect. As always, we also stand behind our work 110%. This matter was not handled any differently.

My two air conditioner units were not working, so I called Trinity Contractors early Monday morning and they were here within a few hours. As it turned out, the breakers on the circuit box had been thrown. After turning on the breakers, the repairman then said he would check out my units. He ended up adding a little freon to both units. He explained everything he was doing and why. Since my units are 21 years old, I asked him about replacement. He discussed my options, and then had his office call me about an hour later with an estimate. The estimate given seemed very reasonable, and I will definitely use them in the future. I was very pleasantly surprised that they did not push replacement. As my units were very old, I expected them to be very pushy about it, but they weren't. I was very pleased with their service, and I will definitely recommend them to friends.
Description of Work: They checked my two air conditioner units out and topped off my freon.

The service man came on time, and really did a great job unstopping the drain line. He was here about an hour, worked hard, then took time to explain everything and what to look for in case it happened again.
Description of Work: Air Conditioner unit had to be serviced. Work involved unstopping drain line from evaporator coil and flush out pump with hot water. Repairman had to run 2 gallons water through pump and put in a tablet to help with slim build-up. Also had to replace a 3/4'' PVC coupling. Trinity installed the system 5 years ago.
