Jim's crew came in and quickly and efficiently installed a great system. They kept me involved in the placement and aim to ensure all the areas I needed received coverage. When I found a spot that was missed the next week, he immediately sent someone out to fix it. They even called me at work while they were making the adjustment to make sure they understood what I wanted. Not only would I use them again, I'll have them back in the future to work on the water feature and patio I'm dreaming about for my backyard!

Excellent communication throughout the process. Job was completed as promised, on time. They answered all of my many questions.

Called and set an appointment to meet. Mr. Trawick responded promptly and met me for a free estimate and rendering. His plant recommendations were great and even accommodated my request to use other shrubs he had not suggested. Price was fair and a date was scheduled. The install was on time and to my satisfaction. During install one of his trucks damaged my driveway. Being the fair and upstanding business owner he is, his son immediately contacted me to let me know and they worked with me to offset the repair costs to my driveway. Problem to solution was less than a day. I'm sure you can all appreciate how hard it can be to find an honest business person in town sometimes, well these folks are the real deal and I would definitely work with them again.

The service was just fine. It really did get rid of the weeds. The workers were just fine. They showed up when they said. They actually called me and reminded me that it was time, because I had used them last year. They came right away, after I told them that I wanted them to.

The entire job was completed in two full work days over a span of three days. The crew arrive on time each day and competed the planned work for the day before departing. Each day before leaving, they explained what they had accomplished and what was planned for the next day, including estimated arrival time. Clean-up was performed at the end of each day. Jim's team was professional and courteous, and made us feel like we were valued customers. At the end of the job, they went into detail what we should do to care for the new grass - watering, cutting, fertilizing and treating for pests. I will definitely use Southern Appeal Landscaping for any future landscaping needs. We couldn't have asked for more; they exceeded our expectations!

I was not pretty pleased with. Our backyard was really overgrown. So we were told that they were going to come in a week before they started working, spray and kill everything. That didn’t happen. They came in and did the landscaping. But now all the stuff that was there before is coming up. So they didn’t really do what they said they would do. Several plants died and I emailed them. They said that it was because I was not watering them enough though we did exactly what they told us to do. There was no guarantee on the plants. What they did looked really nice. The area where they put the grass they didn’t really do it in a way that it would drain. So now when it rains, there are puddles standing there. They did a lot of work and they were here working every day. The price came in of what we thought it would be. They were responsive while they were working but after they were finished, they were done and no more response to anything. They initially said that it would be done in a week but it didn’t happen in a week and took beyond that. They were professional.

Jim Trawick was on time at every appointment. He was professional as were his workers. They did a good job on installation on the exact date given and went beyond expectations on cleaning up premises before they left. I would highly recommend them to others needing irrigation services.

Since the crew from Southern Appeal moved, adjusted, repaired and/or replaced several sprinkler heads, it will no longer be necessary for me to hand water many plants and places in the lawn that the water from the sprinklers did not reach. The biggest "gift" was learning that a sprinkler head that had been installed next to the alley that runs behind my property could be moved out of the way of the flow of traffic. I had spent lots of time and money in an attempt to "protect" that head from being run over by installing poles with red flags, planting several shrubs in the area, hauling tons of soil to provide a barrier....all of this because the home builder's crew only kept replacing the head. No one ever suggested that it could be moved!!!! I am so very pleased with the professional work of Southern Appeal.

The response to my initial inquiry was immediate. Mark Trawick was my contact. We had a problem in the front yard where there was sinkage due to improper compacting over a sewer line when the house was built that caused the concrete sidewalk to break apart and sink slightly. Mark listened to our concerns and assured us that they could correct the problem. They removed concrete, compacted the area of concern, added topsoil and sod and replaced the walkway with beautiful pavers. During this process, they discovered a void under the steps leading to the house. They filled the void with concrete by hand. We also had large overgrown tree limbs that they removed. Two large areas (one in front yard and one in back) needed topsoil and new sod. We had rain almost every afternoon which made the project take a little longer than expected but the crew was back every day on time. I can't say enough about this company. They were professional, knowledgeable, experienced and always responded to our needs. Our yard has never looked better! We would contract with them again and highly recommend this group!

It was difficult to get past the voicemail to employees to begin with. The landscape design they came up with was unattractive and not what I had requested anyway. They repeatedly rescheduled days to do the work (once a plan was agreed upon), and I patiently waited for over a month for them. After another no-show and further postponement, we fired them before work began.

The project went very well. There was a slight delay because of rain, but Jim, the owner of Southern Appeal, kept me informed of any changes and got to my project as soon as was humanly possible. Jim and his sons, who are also partners in the business, were very professional and knowledgable. They coordinated very well all the various decisions needed in a project like this. Jim produced a computer generated picture of what my yard would look like at completion, and sent pictures of trees for my approval before purchase. His sons recommended a couple of changes to my design that created a nicer look and more maintenance friendly areas. The price ended up exactly as quoted. I received other quotes, and Jim's was the best, but I also felt, after meeting and talking with him, that he would do a great job. I'm very happy with the job done by Southern Appeal Landscape Management, and I'm already planning more projects for them.

I was extremely pleased with his all aspects of services performed. He kept me informed of what was performed as I live out of town and rent this home. According to my renter, the guys were very professional and instructed her on how to program and use the sprinkler system, as well as repair what was needed to ensure the life of the system.

When we had the plans finalized we asked for a quote. Three weeks later after asking again we received an e-mail that was dated one week after the initial request. I have made 2 requests for Jim to call I have yet to receive a call back The amount $$$ was extreme in our view $10,000 we were expecting something in the range of $7,000 to $8,000so we declined. I believe the long wait is due to the time of year (spring) but I also believe someone should have called

My yard has little elevation change and after heavy rain large pools collect.. The work done by Mr Trawick has enabled these large pools to dissipate more quickly.

Both individuals I have dealt with are professional and willing to work with you. They provide landscaping and weed/feed control. I will add more information after the application but I expect it will go well. I think they are a little expensive but I am a little out of their area and they have to drive further, so I guess it makes sense. After the rain finally stopped, they came and did a complete weed and feed on my front and back yard. I took my dog out of the house so she would not be exposed. They were very helpful in telling my son all the necessary information; how long to stay off the grass, to spray the grass the next day, etc. My yard was a mess---like a total wreck---all weeds. I liked the father/son team and I would recommend them.

Excellent company. Jim and his crew even offered to remove additional items outside of scope of project. Will call them again when more work is needed

Mark Trawick came out in order to provide my wife and I with a quote for landscaping on our new house that we are finishing up. Mark was not only punctual but he was early. Mark took the time to listen to every single detail that my wife and I had in mind for our home. When he was asked for suggestions on the property he not only gave us one suggestion but multiple suggestions and possible solutions. Mark stayed on the property at least an hour taking measurement after measurement to make sure everything was perfect for the quote. My wife and I were on a strict timeframe. Mark was communicating and e-mailing us late into the night to try to come up with solutions and estimates for us to meet our request in our timelines. When Mark provided the estimate not only did he provide details about what the job would be, but he also provided pictures of the finished product so we would know exactly what the home would look like. He even came up with a great landscaping solution to help someone in a wheelchair to be able to enter the home that would look great. My wife and I have had to unfortunately decide to delay this project for now. In our home building process we have had to deal with many contractors for nearly all types of projects in the home building process. Mark has been one of the most professional, hardworking, courteous, and honest people we have worked with. We would highly recommend anyone who has the chance to work with him and can work with him to take the opportunity. You will not regret it!

Truly, truly pleased!!!! His sons and crew are On time, and clean up so well behind themselves, you can't even tell work was done, other than the beautiful work they did.

I have been using Southern Appeal Landscape for about six months. They haven't really done a whole lot because it has been winter. They are fine. They are satisfactory I guess.

He was very conscientious in that after we had scheduled the service there was some weather preventing him coming and he called me or emailed me every time and let me know what was going on and when he would be there. He kind of customized his services to what I needed because what I wanted wasn't exactly what his main offering was, but after we talked he customized it for what I wanted.

The work was done quickly and professionally with great results. Mr. Trawick diagnosed our drainage problems and proposed a very effective solution. He proposed tying in our side yard gutters into the drain line, which we had not thought of. The result will eliminate more problems than we expected. We asked him to add on two other small projects, which he accomplished within his originally estimated timeframe. We were impressed with his knowledge and skill and the results of his work. His work exceeded our expectations. While we were just looking to fix a drainage problem, his recommendations has greatly improved the curb appeal of our house at a very reasonable and competitive price.

I am super impressed by Mr. Trawick, his sons and their crew. They were thorough, detail oriented, timely, and did a great job of cleaning up behind themselves. I look forward to doing other work with this family owned business soon. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a great landscaper.

We are extremely pleased with the work done by Southern Appeal. Frankly, we chose them because they were the only company that came out to give us an estimate, even though we tried two other companies as well. We are very happy we did opt to use Southern Appeal. They were very professional and timely, kept the work site as tidy as possible, were always on time and finished under scheduled time. They installed walking paths along our house from the gates to the various doors. The pavers look great and it is certainly much easier getting in and out of the yard. The front area required some curving of the paths which turned out just beautiful! We also had Southern Appeal install an irrigation system which I am sure will be fabulous, but with all the rain we keep having, it has yet to be turned on. We tacked on some flower beds and tree stump removal, and are very glad we did. We are just now planting in the beds, but certainly enjoy not having to look at ugly stumps around the property, a couple of which insisted on sending up shoots even though they were no longer wanted. I was recuperating from surgery the previous month and the men were all very solicitous and helpful whenever I needed to get in or out, especially while the irrigation trenches were being worked on. They also were very kind to our dog. We kept him inside while the workmen were in the yard, but there were times when we were coming or going that he was barking at them a bit. They never let it bother them, and even helped corral him up the ramp to the door a few times.

Mr. Trawick was awesome, and we intend to use Southern Appeal, but we had something come up that ate the money we had for landscaping.
