These guys are great, they pulled all the grass up before they started, put down topsoil and went over my yard I don't know how many times before they laid the sod. I would highly recommend them. I don't think anybody else would do as good of a job as them, they were the best.

It went great. They did a very good job on each project, the cost of each project was very fair, and they are very professional! I can not put a cost down below because multiple projects were performed, but, as I have mentioned, the cost for each project was very fair!

They have been my landscapers for over 4 years. They have exceeded all expectations on every possible measure. They do an incredible job. If there is ever a problem, they fix it. You cannot ask for more.

From start to finish they were extremely professional, and well mannered. I messaged them on Angie's list (along with a few other companies) and they were quickly responsive and called me the following day to set up getting a quote unlike the others. He came out and quoted me and was ready to start the following day. The day of they showed up at my house slightly before the time we discussed (which I thought was a good thing) the crew was polite, kept me well informed and was in and out in about a hour. My only "concern" the ground still feels really hard where the bushes were removed, so I'm hoping they got enough of the roots out in order to plant there with out much grunt work. Overall all great experience with them, and I will be using them in the future.

My irrigation system was not working properly and I had had two previous "irrigation experts" out to repair it to no avail. Then I had several thousand dollars worth of plants and bushes installed and during installation, several lines were cut, causing a serious threat to the new plantings. I went to Angies List and read the reviews of two companies that sounded like they could handle the job and sent communication to both. Within a couple of hours, Southern Appeal responded and set up an appointment for two days later at 9:30....Mark called around 9 and said he would be a few minutes late.. When Mark and Justin showed up a little bit later they went to work immediately and took each zone and diagnosed the problem and fixed each zone. They got the entire system up and running perfectly and made suggestions as to how to improve pressure and then walked around showing me each station to make sure I was happy with the coverage.........then we ran out of daylight....they never quit from 930 till dark and would have stayed longer if I needed them. Can't say enough about the professionalism and "can do" attitude of these guys, I would highly reccommend Souther Appeal Landscape.

Absolutely fabulous. I had a lightning strike that damaged my entire irrigation system, all six zones. It took longer than they expected, but they worked as hard as any technicians I've used before. The price was more than fair We have made plans to do some improvements to the existing system at a later date.

The crew arrived with a positive attitude and once I explained my sprinkler situation they immediately went to work. They found sprinkler heads that I never knew about. Once the job was done I was thrilled with the quality of work performed and how good my system worked. The price to repair my system was well below my self-estimated cost. Just good people doing outstanding work at a fair price. I was so happy with the work I gave them extra money for a nice lunch.

Excellent! On the first day, the crew completed all of the prep work. On the second day, they worked the entire day to complete the project a full day and a half ahead of their estimated end date for the project. On the second day, the yard was transformed from lackluster to amazing. We couldn't be more pleased with the work. I talked to three other companies before choosing Southern Appeal Landscape. They were not the lowest bidder, but they were the only company that actually diagnosed the problem and offered real solutions. They were prompt, professional, and they did all work as contracted. The team who worked on our yard obviously loves their work and they take pride in perfection. The owner's two sons were part of the crew, and they worked just as hard as the other crew members. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience.

Went great. Called Southern Appeal Landscape just last week and told Jim we were going to be putting the house on the market and wanted them to repair some erosion issues and make the yard look good. He was able to get right on my project within a week and the guys did a fine job.

The guys from Southern Appeal removed many large overgrown azalea bushes from my backyard and the side yard. These shrubs were probably planted 20 years ago most were at least 8ft tall and probably as wide. Many of them were close to large oak trees. They completely removed all the shrubs including the roots. They took great care to access the yard without causing any damage to the grass or other trees and shrubs. The area was completely cleaned up. In fact they far exceeded our expectations as we only paid for removal, but they left the area in a very tidy condition. All the material was removed and from our yard, leaving us with a clean slate to replant. I feel the price was very fair for the scope of the job and I will definitely be using Southern Appeal for future work.

During the Spring, 2015, the Southern Appeal Landscaping team landscaped our back yard, including preparing the soil, installing new sod, installing french drains, and adding river rock to a small drainage ditch at the back of the property. We were very happy with their work and the lawn has done extremely well. In order to make sure we cared for the lawn properly during the winter, I asked Jim to give us an evaluation and recommendation. During his visit, he performed a complete evaluation of the lawn and made very specific recommendations for the winter treatment. While Jim wasn't going to charge anything for his visit, I made sure he sent me an invoice. Jim and his crew have performed other work for us over the past five years. I always found them to be professional and experts in the services they provide. I'll use them again.

Mark and Justin were friendly, professional sprinkler guys. They worked well as a team locating the valves and testing the system. There were there on Oct. 16 to locate valves/look for leak. They came back on Oct 17 to replace a leaking valve, install the rain sensor and check all heads. They returned on Oct 29 to replace heads and rotors as needed. They were also helpful in suggesting plantings I could use to fill in gaps in woods. I would definitely call this company back for additional landscaping needs.

The work was done very professionally in one day and at a fair price. Cleanup was satisfactory, especially considering that the work had to be done in an area that had difficult accessability. This is the third time we have hired this company to do major projects, and we have been very pleased with their performance each time. We have also highly recommended their services to friends and neighbors as the opportunity arises.

Southern Appeal responded to my call promptly. I met with Mr. Trawick at the house so he could provide me with an estimate. I wanted to take it all back to the fences with greenery around the border, use of some existing ground cover and a paved walkway. A couple days later he emailed me his first estimate which included a lot of pine straw. While I wanted to keep costs down, I also didn't want a yard full of straw. I asked him to rework it by making the paved area larger. After I got the revised estimate and agreed on the work he started a couple weeks later. The project took about two weeks. I will say that his workers were professional and courteous. One of his sons was the crew manager. Some days they worked 8 hours but some days they were there 4 hours. The entire project took about two weeks. So, the yard went from a total embarrassment to spectacular. I will caution anyone who uses this or any other service to discuss specific plants. I had a total of about 10 different types of plants. I thought that was too much variety for my taste. It took me a couple weeks of critiquing the work to realize I liked some plants much better than others. So, I called Mr. Trawick and asked him what we could. I also spoke to him about doing another smaller job in the front yard so he combined the estimates. The plants were warrantied for 90 days so when one of the ferns died in the first week, they replaced it the day after I called about it. Job #2 was replacing 6 plants in the back with the ones that I liked better and doing a smaller job in the front yard. The front job was transplanting two sago palms that were competing for space, enlarging the planting area with new border and removing a large jasmine vining all up in everything. That job took only one half day. Job #1: 10,500 Job #2: 600 Overall, very pleased with the work and how it looks. Nothing but compliments from everyone one because the yard is so inviting and a great place to entertain.
