Wow! 21 What a great experience. From the time they arrived to the time they left, the service was very thorough and worth every penny. We have has our carpets cleaned by various places that were just ok, but we will definitely use Act One again.

I have never been so impressed with a cleaning service! Every team member is highly motivated to do an exceptional job. This kind of dedication to job quality has to begin with management. We were highly impressed with the owner's knowledge of cleaning methods. I am chemically sensitive to fragrance and fumes. The owner, Stephen Hamilton, went out of his way to make sure the cleaners used would not bother me. I was home for the entire cleaning, and I am breathing better now than before they started cleaning. I had just about given up on finding a cleaning service that really cleans. We will be using Act One Cleaning in future.

Stephen Hamilton contacted me within the same day I called. We set up a scheduled time for them to come out to the home an access the carpets and what I wish to have cleaned. Unlike some carpet cleaners out there, there is no "special" price for cleaning some many rooms for a great price or discount. You know the kind,....... they arrive and once they tell you the "add ons" it's always a different price then the coupon or special. Andrew arrived with tape measure in hand. Carpet is priced by the square foot cleaned. No gimmicks. No coupons except for the 10% discount for Angie's List members. He measured all the rooms I wished to have cleaned and I also wanted a sofa and love seat cleaned as well. Andrew was polite and professional as well as friendly. He took measurements and gave me what I thought was a fair price. Dining Room, Master Bedroom, Guest Room and hallway. Also a material covered sofa and matching love seat. Once Andrew explained in detail the type of cleaning that would be performed, we agreed upon a date which was within a week. Andrew showed up on time and proceeded to conduct the work exactly as explained. Stephen arrived shortly afterwards and proceeded to work as well. Unlike other carpet cleaners I have used, this type of cleaning uses very little moisture. I didn't have that "wet carpet" smell that the steaming companies use and the carpets looked amazing!! Wok was done professionally and Stephen and Andrew answered all questions my husband and I had. Both men sounded like they have been in the carpet business for some time now and had both experience and knowledge to help you with decision making processes. The sofa and love seat look brand new. And I am very very happy with how everything turned out. The results were great. Carpets look as they did when we bought the house. I recommend this company to anyone who wants excellent service with excellent results. Thank you Stephen and Andrew!

Garage had smelled of stale tobacco smoke from previous owners. Steve came to give an estimate and kept us from overpaying. Offered to neutralize odors while he was there at a low cost, which did not completely eliminate the odor, but helped a lot. He the advised us on how to finish the job on our own and what products to use. If he had been local we would have hired him to come back, but decided against it because it was such a small job. He was very nice and seemed very trustworthy. I definitely recommend calling him before hiring anyone else.

The tech said it would take a little while,and we were glad to hear that,since i read the reviews on other companies,that sounded like they cleaned a whole house in less than an hour.We had a water spill in the basement on the floor from the pipe,and he even provided something to get the water up,and offered to do it himself. The air wasn't working too good in the house,and he never complained. He worked very hard,going over,and pretreating the stains.We were happy that he could get the carpet as clean as expected,considering it was older carpet.

Every nook and cranny (including HVAC vents) was vacuumed even before the carpet cleaning took place. Great results, great folks!

They did an amazing job, and I was so happy with how it turned out. They were very professional and professionally dressed with name tags and the supervisor stayed on site the entire time. The employees in the office were also professional, very nice and accomodating with my schedule. I would highly recommend them.

He had a lot of good reviews that is why I picked him. They were running of out of time and there was a storm coming so I paid them by the hour. Everything they can get to the time, they were like feverishly cleaning everything they could get done within the time span. We discussed what would be better for me, what would be better to pay by the room or by the hour. He is an honest person and the people that worked for him are all honest. They tried hard to get all done. I was really pleased. He is a good person. He is a Christian man and he does it like a ministry. He helps people.

They do stuff like steam cleaning the walls. They also redid and waxed my hardwood floors instead of having to use polyurethane. They do real deep cleaning stuff and they get dust out of the house. They are awesome. I’ve had them do a lot of heavy duty kind of stuff. The last time they were there from about 10:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. They are a little pricey, but for the work I am having done and what a good job they did it was worth it to me. They’re not like a regular maid service but they do what I ask them to do. They are easy to work with. They are very friendly and trustworthy. They do an excellent job. The work they did I could never have done. It would have taken me weeks to do it. I can’t pay the same price every time but they are worth it. I’ve already got 4 appointments scheduled out with them. The reason that they’re so helpful to me is because there are 4 men and they will move furniture to clean. I’ve never ever found any other service that will do that.

The guys from One Act Cleaning came to the door in very professional attire and went right to work on three large room carpets. They took them outside on the deck and used the proper chemicals to combat the urine odor and scrubbed nearly all day until they felt like they did everything humanly possible to rid my carpets of the odors. In the meantime, they also cleaned two other room carpets, two runners and the foyer carpet. They took the whole day cleaning my carpets until I was completely satisfied. The result was very good. Now and then I pick up on a very small odor but for the most part my carpets are odor free which is not an easy job to do and most often impossible. The men were extremely courteous, meticulous and knowledgeable in their work. If you are looking in Angie's list for carpet cleaning, do yourself a favor and just choose this company. I highly recommend them and have already scheduled for them to return in Nov. before Thanksgiving to freshen up the carpets upstairs. You will be very pleased with them! They were extremely fair priced and saved me from having to buy all new carpets for my home. Thank you One Act Cleaning!

Very thorough, descriptive (explains process in order to establish expectations), professional and helpful - very satisfied with the result. I had cat urine odor in two rooms and they located and treated spots by using a black light - odor and stains are gone. High quality and good value for your money. Whereas most Groupon companies will offer "lower prices" and get in and out of your job as quickly as possible, in order to move on to the next, Stephen and Andrew with Act One were totally dedicated to my home and customer satisfaction, spending about 4.5 hours cleaning the four rooms and hallway. I plan to use them again on my parents home in a few weeks.

The floors look awesome. I will use this company again and again. It took longer than they anticipated and the price did not change.

The carpets were off white and after 6 years of traffic were very dirty. Owner quoted the work and began work immediately. The carpets look excellent even 5 weeks later. We had spots in two rooms that were awful and they are gone. Work was meticulous and done to perfection. Highly recommend the company. Very pleased.

Steve was punctual and professional from the first phone call to the final inspection by me. He thoroughly explained the process and worked all day to clean my 2000 square feet. He and Anthony worked consistently and as quietly as possible. They were very appreciative of my business- which you don't see a lot of these days! Carpet looked super when they finished!

It went very well. They were excellent! They were very professional and they called and told us when they were coming. They were on time and they worked hard. They did everything that they said they would do and did it to my satisfaction, before they got any money.

Stephen and Andrew from Act One Cleaning did a fantastic job! The floors haven't looked this good since they were installed. There were scratches we never thought we'd be able to fix that are unseen now! Both guys were very friendly and had a great attitude. They came in went over the process and got to work. When I spoke with Stephen to set up the appointment I knew I had found the right company. I would definitely recommend Act One to anyone needing their hardwoods cleaned. We saved money and ours backs by having them come out.

It went OK, the house had not been cleaned and it was very dirty. We had the cleaner clean the carpets and steam clean counters countertops and all floor surfaces. We wanted a very clean septic job which this thing did very well, but it also did not get all areas clean like we wanted near baseboards and in the corners of the rooms in the carpet.

They price was accurately quoted and they did a good job.
