I found Act One Cleaning on Angie’s list. We decided to have our very dirty carpets cleaned on our new home rather than replace them hoping to stretch them out a year before replacing them. Steve made it clear from our initial phone call that he was not interested in up-selling and only interested in cleaning my carpets and ensuring that we had the best customer service experience possible in the process. Steve arrived on time and was extremely organized. He put up a plastic barrier on the front door so that heat wouldn’t escape while he worked and blankets under his equipment to protect our floors that weren’t carpeted. He used several techniques to remove stubborn stains and spent several hours throughly cleaning our carpets. I was thrilled with the results. The carpets look nearly new and there’s no need to be thinking of replacing them. Steve is a rarity in the service industry. He truly cares about getting great results and that you’re happy with the outcome. I will be hiring Steve to clean some upholstered furniture for me and he will be the only person I have clean my carpets. I highly recommend Act One and he does travel to Huntsville from Gadsden so don’t let the company address stop you from calling him.

The job done exceeded my expectations. The owner was so nice and prompt with all communication. His attention to detail and effort in doing a great job was amazing. I thought I was going to have to replace my expensive, five year old carpet soon because of wear patterns and heavy traffic areas showing dirt. He was able to clean them better than expected and they now look like I would think they should and will last many more years. The carpet dried quickly, feels fluffy and it makes me happy to see the results. He also took time with a couple of pet stains that are now gone. I highly recommend Act One.

I have never had anyone do as thorough a job cleaning carpets as ActOne. They do everything in their power to get out a problem area and really put the effort in to do an excellent, not just pretty good, job. Steve is a true professional and is a joy to deal with.

Went great! It was of course it was disruptive, but that's how carpet cleaning goes. Price was surprisingly inexpensive. Steve even left us a bottle of his own cleaner because the off the shelf ones make cleaning harder. Also cured a flea infestation that was brought in by contractors. Carpet looks new again.

Stephen is very professional. He came out and priced the job 1st & asked my expectations & explained the cleaning process. His prices were very reasonable & competitive. He did such a great job. He took his time and was very thorough. I had carpets and furniture cleaned & was very pleased with the outcome. I have allergies & pets & the cleaning solution he used did not bother me or my pets! I definitely would use this company again!

It went great. He had to treat the carpet with a special dissolvent and everything came up, even a stain I had been fighting for years. It's been a month and everything looks just like the day he cleaned. We were very pleased and would definitely hire again.

Everything was top-notch from the first contact with Mr. Hamilton through the entire cleaning process. We were considering having new carpet installed but wanted to try having the carpet cleaned to see if it could be restored to a nearly new look. After using Act One, our carpet, which is over 5 years old and has gone through lots of kid and pet accidents, looks basically new. So much less expensive and time-consuming than buying new carpet. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton was pleasant to deal with throughout the process, was always prompt and courteous, and was flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend calling Act One before you consider replacing carpet or rugs.

We were very pleased throughout the entire process. We contacted Steve to make arrangements to come by, look at our house, and provide a quote. He was very punctual in arriving at the agreed-upon hour. He went throughout the house, talking about what we wanted done and what he could recommend. Within 24 hours, we received a quote for the work, which appeared very reasonable. Calling him back, we agreed on day and time for Steve to work on the job. Again, he was very punctual, arriving exactly at the agreed-upon time. Steve had an assistant with him, a very polite and hard-working young man. They started at 10:00 in the morning and were done by 4:00 that afternoon. Very professional attitude -- while working, they were "all work." From my discussions with Steve, I knew I could entrust the house to him, so I left while they did their thing. When I came back that afternoon, I was very pleased with the results. Very thorough cleaning job. They had a good bit of equipment, and they took the time to make sure that they collected all their gear and left nothing behind. The floors are now spotless! They were great.

The carpet looks amazing! Spots I didn't even know were there are gone, as well as some that I didn't think would come out at all, including nail polish stains. The guys showed up on time, communicated well, explained the process, and used a rotating type of brush that I hadn't seen before. They vacuumed and pre-treated spots before getting started. It took a bit longer than I had expected, but that's part of getting a careful and thorough clean; totally worth it in the end. The price I thought was extremely reasonable.

I couldn’t believe that Stephen got the dirt out of my traffic areas but he did. He is conscientious, pleasant, and punctual.. His pricing was incredibly reasonable. He knows his equipment. After he finished, my allergic senses did not notice an odor. I turned on the fans in each room and the carpets dried after several hours. I don't have to look at dirty traffic areas anymore but I do need to get him to clean the rest of the carpet. Stephen Hamilton did an outstanding job!

Great! Steven really knows his business and his only concern is making sure the customer is satisfied. I am extremely satisfied with the job he did, and he was incredibly nice all the while. He never seemed to be concerned about rushing to the next job...he took his time and did the job right. I had previously hired sears to come out and clean these same carpets, and$250 later, sears left the carpets exactly as they found them. Steven would not do that...he did the job right the first time, and it was worth the money! The $350 I paid Steven included a carpet protection service, by the way. Sears did not include that I highly recommend Steven for any carpet cleaning needs.

He arrived at 11:30 and worked constantly for more than three hours. We had our living room, dining room, and hallway cleaned. We had moved out most of the furniture except for heavy pieces such as the couch, entertainment center, computer desk/ bookshelves, piano. We asked him to just clean around these items. Our carpet was dirty due to our pet dog, and just LIVING. It looks like new--the spots have disappeared and it smells fresh and clean!!!!!

Steve was great to work with. He thoroughly explained what he would do, how he would do it and executed the plan exactly as he said he would. He did an excellent job and also a few extras as well. He also offered advice on pressure washing the exterior even though that's not what we asked him to do and even offered to loan me rubber boots if I needed some! Not just any man would offer up his boots! This is the second time using Act One and we would not hesitate to use them again.
