Act One Cleaning

Excellent! The best carpet and tile cleaning ever done here, and there were many hard to clean stains! The carpets look brand new, as well as the tile floor. This will be the only carpet cleaning service I will use from here on in!

Great work. Worked until the job was done and did a great job. There were a few stubborn areas that he worked diligently on and didn't stop until he was satisfied. Came right away after he was called for the estimate and was very prompt.

Andrew, Samantha and Jared (I hope I have his name correctly) came right on time and surveyed the list of things I wanted completed. Andrew got down on his hands and knees to really look at my wood floors to determine if any coating had accumulated on the wood. I have lived here for 3 years and never applied any finish to the floor and he concluded that he could clean them. We went into our master bathroom with travertine and he told me he could clean that as well. Steve Hamilton had cleaned my carpet and upholstry last year, and did a fantastic job, so I had Andrew do the same thing this year. As a last minute thought, I asked Andrew about the dining room chairs where 30 years ago the kids in the family created stains from every Holiday dinner! The entire crew was very careful with moving personal possessions and were very polite. I was truly impressed. The results were spectacular! I feel like I have an updated home! ACT one is the only people I will call for all kind of cleaning projects! Hones, professional and reasonablly priced! The more I speak with the crew, the more I realize that I can have them attack so many projects--like restoring Travertine to its original shine and refinishing wood floors. I think I need to ask if they can move in for a month and attack my dream repair list!! I sent a photo on my cell phone of the clean upholstry on the dining room chair to my 30 year old son. He sent back a text saying " those chairs have not looked that good since 1995 when they were new!"

I usually do not leave reviews unless a company stands out to me as exceptional. The services provided by this company were exceptional from the phone call last week to make the appointment until Andrew and Sam pulled out of my driveway a few minutes ago. Positive, can do, happy people who are professional, knowledgeable and appreciate your business. Andrew and Sam strengthened my hope that the younger generation ( I'm referring to under 40 ) can be respectful, courteous, professional, positive and friendly. We had the carpet cleaned in 3 rooms in the downstairs area of our home. Andrew was very attentive to what type of stains could have been on the carpet and explained in detail how the carpet would be cleaned without me having to ask. It is refreshing to work with a company with honesty and integrity that is evident with everyone you come in contact with. The person I talked to when I called to make the appointment came across so friendly and sincere that I was already looking forward to them coming today instead of being concerned about what type crew would show up. I am very thankful that my cream colored carpet is stain free and looks brand new!

Stephen and his team did a thorough and excellent job in cleaning the house. What's even better is that he helped educate me on what I should look for in shopping for alternatives. I appreciated his expertise and honesty in the matter. That is what won him my bid.

It went GREAT. Steve and his crew were here on time and all of them were extremely nice, polite and hard workers. I had them 2 years ago and one of the jobs they did was to put a finish on my laminate floors in the kitchen and 2 hall ways and they still look like brand new floors even after moping them once a week with water. I will continue to use them i and would recommend them to everybody. It is hard to find companies that do the work like this company.. They are honest and proud of their work.

They were very professional and thorough. They moved furniture to clean and returned it to original place. Very efficient.

Steven was very helpful and extremely gracious. They did a wonderful job cleaning our carpet and even helped us move some furniture. The price was very affordable. We will be using them again, possibly in the next couple of days, to also clean our hardwood.

We contacted Act One on Friday Feb 12th to schedule an appointment to review the job. On Monday the 15th, the representative, Andrew, showed up on time and was very professional (polite, dressed in khakis, and even had on a name tag representing the company). He went through each room with me while I explained what I wanted. All throughout the visit, he explained how much each service would cost, and what all it would cover. He was very thorough, and there was never any question or surprise. At the end of the appointment, he sat down with me and reviewed everything we discussed and gave me a rough estimate based on the notes he'd taken so far. Their services were laid out like a menu of items and I could pick and choose as much (or as little) as I wanted. He reported that he would have the owner of the company send me a formal estimate later that evening after he transcribed all of the notes to ensure we hadn't missed anything. We then scheduled a tentative appointment for that Thursday/Friday (this was a 2 day job). I received the estimate later that evening and noted that it was different from my own calculations. After careful review, I realized I'd forgotten to make note of a couple of things I'd requested which accounted for the difference (Andrew made better notes than I). I agreed to the price and advised Act One that I was prepared to move forward as planned. The crew of 4 arrived as agreed Thursday morning and after a quick orientation, went straight to work. They worked extremely hard and rarely took any breaks. They would periodically ask questions, but for the most part, I stayed in my home office working and did not have to supervise them. At the end of the first day, they showed me what they'd accomplished that day and what they still had remaining to do. I must say, even halfway through, I was very impressed. My house, particularly the kitchen, was exceptionally clean. They had even worked in a few tasks that I'd not previously ordered (such as cleaning out the inside of the oven). My wife and I noted when we woke up Friday morning that we slept so much better after the first day due to how thoroughly they removed allergens/pet hair. The second day was much like the first. They arrived on time and went straight to work with few, if any, breaks (not even a lot of talking among themselves). As each person would complete with their final task, they would walk around with me to make sure I approved of that area of work. I made note of a few things that were overlooked (which, I might add, was a very small list) and they took care of those items immediately. I noted that I had a personal appointment at 5:30pm, and that I needed them to be finished with the job by 5pm so I could make it. They were finished by 4:30pm and mopped the hardwood floor on their way out to make sure it was perfect. They told me from the beginning that they would not accept a single penny until I was 100% satisfied. They stayed true to their word! Overall, we were impressed!! Grout that we thought was dark gray when we moved in was actually white. Our appliances shined, our carpet and furniture was brighter...we could not have asked for a better quality work and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

House looked better than ever. Entire house was spotless. Crew was trustworthy and hard workers. Worked until job was done, about 8/9 hour day.

Very well. Job took longer than necessary due to a machine failure that had to have a part replaced. An absolute pleasure to deal with both the owner (Hamilton) and his leadman (?). Workers were pleasant, polite, and neatly dressed. No miracles in the bathrooms, but the carpets and kitchen fools were very well done. Price was very reasonable for the job.

Top to bottom cleaning of my mom's house. Cleaned carpet, bathrooms, floors. These guys are the best! This isn't standard weekly cleaning. It's deep cleaning to strip away layers and years of hard living and post renovation dust. This is the second cleaning for this home. We did one prior to the real estate consult and renovation. They were so gracious and reduced some prices for the areas that had already cleaned even thought it had been several months. The realtor was very impressed and commented how nice it looked and smelled. I highly recommend this business.

Working with Mr. Hamilton was great! I'm very picky, and I felt very satisfied with the thorough and methodical job Mr. Hamilton did cleaning these areas of my home. It takes time and attention to detail to clean as well as he does--few are wiling to do the job well, but he does so, and he does so cheerfully. It's a pleasure to work with him!

No one wants to be woken up at 2am to find out their child was sick and couldn't make it to the bathroom in time, but that's what happened to me. I knew I wasn't going to be able to do much so I just slapped some Resolve on the spots until I could call the next day. I talked to Mr. Hamilton who explained to me that his entire team was working on a very big project, and that it would be a couple days before he'd be able to have someone come and give me an estimate. He then spent several minutes explaining to me how I could try to clean the spots on my own with a wet/dry vac, and gave me a lot of advice and tips to try. Very helpful and apologetic that he couldn't help me right away. I hung up with him impressed with his professionalism and thinking to try to tackle the mess on my own, but life got away from me and a couple days later I still hadn't tried to do anything. I called Mr. Hamilton back and he set things up for his worker to come over the very next day (today). He did a WONDERFUL job cleaning the carpet. He even helped clean up the toys that they never seem to get put away and moved the couch around. He was very careful not to wake a napping baby (even though the extraction machine is quite loud) and explained exactly what he was going to do before he did it. He also left me with a spray bottle of spot cleaner for future use. All of the spots came out and I'm extremely pleased with my service and will definitely be hiring Act One again when I next need my carpets cleaned.

Worked for 3 days and very attentive to every detail. They were extremely hard working and Steve delivered on what he said they could do. Have already recommended Act One to clean commercial kitchen and they are scheduled to do that job. If you need cleaning of just about any sort I suggest you call them.

I called a week prior and was very surprised that they would be able to get out before Christmas. The pricing was explained then so I had a rough idea of what the cost would be. The morning of my appointment, the owner called to let me know that they were on their way, and further explained the cleaning process and pricing. The crew were actually a few minutes early, which surprised me since we're not that easy to find. I also added an extra large room to the areas I wanted cleaned, and it was no problem to them at all. The areas were measured and I was given an estimate which was very close to what I was expecting. Most importantly, they were all very professional (and young so I was even more impressed at this!) They did a very thorough job, didn't seem to be in a rush, and left me with stain remover. Make sure that you have an empty spray bottle on hand so that they can leave you with the stain remover. Professional service, doing a very good job, reasonable pricing. What more could you ask for?

He did a beautiful job! This is the second time I have had Act One Cleaning clean carpets/rugs/furniture in my home. I can only say wonderful things about the business. The people who have come into my home to do the work have been courteous and conscientious. Don't ask for them to squeeze the work into a short hour or so. They are meticulous about their work and take the time necessary to do the job right the first time and ensure that it is a job well done. It took very little time for the carpets to dry when they finished. They even left me with a bottle of their own spot remover for in between emergencies. I will be calling them again and again. I will also recommend to all of my friends.
