Called at 7:30 am, they arrived by 8:00am and performed the job quickly and efficiently. Their price was $55.00 less than a competitor that was dispatched by American Home Shield. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a plumbing company.

The price was extremely reasonable. I liked that they returned my phone call promptly. They showed up promptly. They did the job correctly. They were very nice, very competent, and they are local hometown.

Arrived on time and completed services in a timely manner. They were competent and quickly did the job. they also informed me they did electrical work too.

They replaced it when they said they would and for a great price. Even recommended that we could save a few bucks by buying it ourselves and having them install it. They have done lots of other work for me and I always recommend them.

We discovered a leak in our yard water line just as we were leaving to go out of town. I looked here on Angie's List and picked a few names of plumbers to take with me. I called the first one on my list, Caldwell and Sons. I had to leave a message and I got a return call from Mr. Caldwell within a few hrs. I told him the problem and that we were out of town. He told me he'd take care of it and send me a bill. Both happened promptly and efficiently. I'm glad to now know a good plumber to call for future issues.

I found a pipe leaking behind the wall while moving furniture in preparation for a floor tile project. I needed to get it fixed fast because the tile contractor was scheduled the next day. I called Caldwell and Sons who said they could be out the same day. I didn't try to call anyone else because I thought I had a repairman on the way. They called a couple of hours later to confirm the address and told me they would be here in about half an hour. About 20 minutes later the company owner called to tell me that they "didn't go out that far." We live in the country approximately 20 miles from the company. Now that I've squandered 3 hours, I can't find anyone to get here to do the work done today.

He is great. The price is great and the technician was very good at what he does. He was also very personable and came over very quick to complete the work.

I was real pleased with everything from Caldwell & Son's. Their price was reasonable and they didn't try to charge me for anything I didn't need. They were here when they said they would be and everything was perfect when they left.

They came and sorted out several minor plumbing issues in a house I am renting out. Arrived promptly, did the work quickly, and no problems with the repairs done. Adhered very well to informal estimate given.

It went great as stated above. No problems what so ever. Caldwell and Sons is a very professional, ethical, and skilled company with a very nice staff and mangement.

July 29, 2010 had drainage backing up into house sinks and tubs while clothes washer in spin cycle. Called a major national plumbing service. They responded quickly and discovered main house sewage drain was stopped up. In addition, it was discovered the the old Orangeburg drain had decayed to the point of non-existance. After being informed the drain had to be replaced, I asked for an estimate. The request was called in and I was told someone would be out to provide estimate that afternoon, July 29, 2010. Needless to say, no one showed up or called. The next morning, Friday, July 30, 2010, I went to Angie's List to see if any positive reports for local plumber's. Caldwell & Sons had four positive reports. I called Mr. James Caldwell at 8:00 a.m. and he said he would be out in 20 minutes to provide an estimate; he was at my front door in 15 minutes and provided the estimate after noting what had to be done. The national franchise plumbing company showed up about 8:30 a.m. and provided their estimate and said they could get to the job maybe by Monday or Tuesday. The national firm was several hundred dollars higher on their estimate than Mr. Caldwell's and they had estimated 8 hours to do the job, when they could get to it. I called Mr. Caldwell and asked when he could get started. At 9:00 a.m., one hour after I got his estimate, the service that checks for underground pipes and lines and been to the property and marked the underground gas lines and Mr. Caldwell already had the new piping at the property, a back-hoe on site and beginning the work. Caldwell & Sons were completely finished with the job by 2:30 p.m. I am very, very pleased with their work ethic (They show up when they say they will, which is extremely rare these days). They are very professional and highly competent. I would recommend them to anyone. By the way, THE FINAL BILL WAS LESS THAN THE ESTIMATE.!!!

Came out promptly and at time scheduled. No problems whatsoever.

They were very professional when they came in. He told me what he was happening before he looked at it, and he was right. He fixed it and was in and out within a few minutes.

My hot water heater leaked and overflowed(my heater is on the second floor of my house)..I asked a friend who I could use as a plumber that would be reasonable and prompt..she referred me to Caldwell and Sons LLC...it was night time when my neighbor called Mr. Caldwellfor me(did I mention it was freezing and sleeting outside?)...Mr. Caldwell was at my house within 25 minutes, drained and capped off the hot water heater, found the water meter outside, and quickly called another gentleman to come and turn off the water at the outside meter...Mr. Caldwell then gave me a fantastic estimate that was LESS THAN ONE HALF the price that a very large company had quoted me a few hours before, even though Mr. Caldwell was going to do the same amount of work with the exact same type of materials the large company was going to use..I am a widow and know nothing about hot water heaters not to mention the fact that I am on a fixed income!! Caldwell and Sons arrived here the next morning and within 2 hours they had completed the job, took the time to explain what they were doing, and how I could check the heater myself from time to time, and how to regulate the temperature of the water on the water tank they had installed...PLUS, they brought in Resolve carpet cleaner and removed any little spots they had made on my carpet, and before they began their work, they put down a canvas blanket so they wouldn't track in and out...they left me a certified rebate coupon to be redeemed for $200.00 dollars!!!! I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!
