I can't give this provider enough praise! They were a pleasure to work with. I had out of town guests and a really really bad septic smell by the guest room. Not a good combination! Reliable worked with me to have someone out that day. The owner came and he was prompt, a pleasure to work with and even diagnosed another problem that I had with plumbing. He even pulled the weeds out of the grass he put back on top of the tank. you can hardly tell where he dug.

One word...awesome. How can I possibly get so ecstatic about septic tank service?! But I am. The first thing I noticed was their logo on their truck "Your Fecal Matters to Us" and it really does to them! Courteous-- Jason called to let me know he was running 15-30 mins behind. These guys know what they're doing, and they do a great job, efficiently and thoroughly. They filled the hole they dug up to get to the septic tank very well. (Unlike the idiots from a different company that we hired last year to put in a new field line and they didn't even fill in the ground they dug up, we still have a gaping ditch in our backyard) I regret not finding Jason sooner to put in those field lines. They even made sure their hose wasn't crushing my flower beds, very thoughtful. There is a certain level of care and respect of the homeowner's property in their work habits. Price was very reasonable. They honored the 10% coupon! Very personable good guys, would highly recommend for any septic tank issues.

Our septic tank alarm was going off this morning. Called Reiiable early and they arrived after lunch. They diagnosed the problem as a bad pump and replaced it with a heavy-duty model. They were very efficient, pleasant and professional. We were very pleased with their service. We are having them come back to pump out our septic system. We used the coupon found on Angie's List for a 10% discount.

We had dealt with other services in the past, but no one had ever truly diagnosed our problem. They were well worth every penny!

It went well. We bought the house in April of this year. The home inspection stated to have this done every five or six years, so I suspected it had never been done. After finding Reliable on Angie's List yesterday, I called them and they came out promptly this morning and did the work. They stated over the phone that it would cost $350.00, and since I found them on Angie's List, I would get a 10% discount, which they honored. The owner and the rest of the crew were friendly and professional.

They showed up the same day we called to give us an estimate, explained the issue and set up a repair date for the day after next.

Jason and an associate cleaned the septic tank at my home. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and completed the task in around an hour. Jason also offered some suggestions regarding a field line issue. He was very friendly and personable. He also honored the 10% discount coupon from Angie's List. My impression of Jason is that he is an honest man that treats his customers fairly. I will use Reliable Septic Service again in the future as I was very pleased with the results.

I can see now why they have such a good rating with Angie’s List! Reliable was cheaper than other 2 companies I called. Also received my 10% discount (make sure and mention this when you call – assuming is still being offered.) Upon finishing job - young man took the time to try and “piece-together” the Zoysia sod they had shovel-cut earlier. I was so happy with the workmanship and the minor damage done to my sod that I paid a little-extra in gratuities for their job-done-well. Based on my experience – I would highly recommend Reliable Septic Service for any septic tank type work.

I had a wet spot in the yard. I knew it was a drain line problem. I signed up for a trial membership in Angie's List to find best septic tank people to call. Reliable Septic had the most positive reviews. Reliable sent out Chris who saw the spot was near the property line. He suggested having the Health Dept come out to put dye in system to see if that really is my problem or neighbor's. I never thought about it being the neighbor. The dye was put in and it was definitely my problem. When I called Chris back and sadly said the leak was coming from our septic tank, he said there is one more thing I should do: Put food coloring in each toilet tank to see if you have a leak. He said a small leak could cause problems with the drain lines. Sure enough I had a leak in a toilet that isn't used much. My point with relating all this is: I can easily imagine a company not making these suggestions. Reliable did everything they could to save me money. How refreshing is that?! I paid no money for them to come out and give me all this advice. An inspection visit is free of charge. I might yet need to actually use their services if after fixing this leak I still have a lingering wet spot. And if I need to I will not hesitate to call this company. I had not heard of this company before seeing them on Angie's list. I can see why they have earned so much praise. Let's be honest: people are at the mercy of a septic tank company. If someone wants to be a scoundrel they could easily be one in this business. This is a straight up company. I will recommend them to anyone needing work on their septic tank and lines. The teams did and excellent job. They were on time and polite. They explained the process and did everything they said they would.

We had Reliable come for an estimate based on Angie's list reviews our daughter shared with us (and the great float they had in the Gardendale Christmas parade last year:-) I saw the truck in our neighborhood and called to see if they could give us an estimate and they were here right away. We made arrangements to have our septic tank cleaned and to install a clean out cover that could be accessed through a planned deck. They were ready to do it the next day but I asked them to make it a day later. When they opened up the tank it was very obvious that there was a problem with it not working properly. They said it was either a stopped up header or possibly the fill lines. They pumped the tank but discovered the clean out access would not be needed after all. They could easily have convinced us to add the cleanout access but were honest that we didn't need it. We made arrangements for them to come back and do whatever was needed to correct the problem with the tank. Again they were ready to come back right away but I needed to get the utility companies to mark their cables. They came as soon as I called to tell them they were marked. In a pouring down rain they worked and discovered the header was completely blocked and replaced it and corrected things that were not installed properly in '72 when the tank was put in. Again they could have easily convinced us that the fill lines needed replaced also but instead said they thought they would be fine. Both of these jobs took them much longer than they had reason to expect when they gave the estimates but they did not charge extra ....they charged just what the estimate was and even gave their 10% Senior discount even though their estimate was the lowest I received. They went beyond what was expected in all aspects including cleaning up and they even put an extension drainage pipe on a gutter downspout without me even asking! I can not praise this company enough or Angie's list for it's reviews.

I called them on Tuesday, and I set up an appointment for Friday. They were unsure of the time, but they let me know that they would call before they came. I decided to call early Friday morning, and the nice lady answering the phone let me know that I was second on the list for the day, and that they wold be there by 9-9:30. They arrived, and were done before 10 am. They had to dig up the area for the septic tank because I was unsure of where it was located. They installed a pipe in that area for future cleanings at no charge. Very pleasant experience, plus they honored the 10% new service advertised on Angie's List.

I called them on Tuesday afternoon and they were here first thing Thursday. They were here and gone in about an hour. No problems.

After a horrifying experience with HL Burton Goodwin Septic and a bogus $350 repair of a float switch (who also first told me a new pump would run $10,000- and then when I said no way, suddenly suggested the new switch is all we needed) , our septic tank was once again flooded within a month and we turned to Angie's List. Reliable came out immediately, diagnosed the problem as a dead septic pump, and replaced it for $1500. Good work, quick work, and well appreciated.

They were very responsive. I submitted an online inquiry one evening and by 8:00 the next morning received a telephone call to discuss my needs. The team arrived as scheduled and assessed the job. They returned as scheduled with the equipment needed to excavate and had the job completed within a few hours. They took care to minimize damage to our lawn and replanted the shrubbery that had to be removed during the process. The only surprise I didn't anticipate was the cost being lower than I was quoted - they gave me a senior citizen discount which was much appreciated! Overall, I was very pleased with their services and would highly recommend them.

These guys showed up on time, located the septic tank, removed some plants and put them back where they were. They were courteous and professional.
