Description of Work: We've used Dixie Electric for both electrical and plumbing jobs many times. They might be a little pricey, but their work is ALWAYS first-rate. They're dependable, fast and super friendly, and they usually give a little lagniappe.

Description of Work: The electrician moved a few wires (no parts or pulling wire) and put a short piece of conduit for the A/C condenser wire. He worked very very slow and still finished around an hour. I figured it would be around $150 for an hour labor and he charged $600. I have hired many contractors through the year but will not do business with Dixie Electric again. If you prefer a company lacking in integrity and charges a lot for just a little work, then Dixie Electric is for you. In no way do they match the high quality expected from Angie's List.

Description of Work: I emailed them after calling them to see if they would be agreeable to submit an invoice that was for a wall outlet plug to the washing machine that was broken when Sears came out. When they contacted me on Facebook it was only requesting that I remove the negative post.

I am willing to pay for quality work but if I decide not to use them I don't feel like paying for something I am not going to use.

Description of Work: We had an electical fire. They came out within one hour after placing our phone call. Assessed and fixed that plug. Rescheduled for entire house evaluation including exterior outlets. They came out and checked every single outlet and swithces inside and outside the house. Had to replace several outlets - two of which were ready to catch fire. Very professional and exhibited great knowledge and teamwork. Although they are expensive, I would use them again. Our home feels safe.
