Wayne & crew arrived on time and performed professional work start to finish. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I called Wayne on a Friday to come out and give me a quote on painting in the living room, hallway and master suite of our recently purchased home. He came out the following Wednesday and walked through the house with me to see what work we wanted done. Because we hadn't moved furniture into the house yet, Wayne asked when we were going to move in. I told him we would be moving that same weekend. He got on the phone immediately to see if his paint crew was available the next day so they could paint before we moved in and had to move furniture around for them. He was able to schedule his crew to start the next day (Thursday). Wayne and his crew arrived earlier than expected at about 7:15am. My husband and I both had to work, so we let them into the empty house and went to work. The expectation was that the job would be completed by the end of the day Friday. When I called Wayne after work on Friday afternoon, he and his guys had just wrapped up and were finished. I met him at the house to check it out and pay him. They were able to work through and get all of the painting done (approx. 1300 sq ft) that day. It was a really great thing to be able to have it painted the way we wanted prior to moving in. While we were there talking with him, he answered several other questions about some issues we'd seen in the house and would want to fix or update later. He was very knowledgeable about those items and offered to come back out to take a look at those things to give us a quote after we were settled. I would definitely recommend Wayne's paint work and know we will be contacting him in the near future about some kitchen fixes as well.

I found Mr. Askew through this site, contacted him, and he came out and gave an estimate within a few days, scheduling the work soon after. A gutter was coming loose from the house, Mr. Askew noticed it was set low as well as coming loose, and fixed it. A ceiling fan in my daughter's room and a leaking kitchen faucet needed replacing, and he gave me advice about models to buy and installed them. I had a stained ceiling from a leak that was fixed years ago, and the paint job was done perfectly. Along the way, he sold me a power washing job. Mr. Askew and his crew of 2 were in and out and did all of this very professionally in a few hours. I couldn't ask for a better price or higher quality work or faster work. I put down a B instead of an A for punctuality because the job was scheduled for 7:30 AM and they turned up around 8:15. This was not a big deal at all, and to be fair, there may have been some miscommunication; I think Mr. Askew had been waiting for me to confirm that I had bought the faucet and ceiling fan, and I didn't get his voice mail and respond until 7:30 AM. I didn't notice until days later that the hot and cold water lines were reversed on the faucet, but when I called, Mr. Askew was able to meet me after work to fix the problem within 2 days. Overall, finding this contractor for these jobs was worth the price of joining Angie's List, I will use him again if I have more work to do, and I recommend him highly.

Wayne and his crew did a great job on our fence. They were professional and finished the job in a timely manner. Wayne communicated with us throughout the process. They left our yard clean and free of debris.

He was punctual, he finished the work in the time frame he said and was very efficient. He also cleaned his work site which is always appreciated. His workers were very nice and did a great job.

Told me it would take 10 days and it did. Fixed things that I requested. Went and picked up material for me. Communication was excellent.

I spoke to Mr. Askew on at least three occaisions over a six week period to get an estimate for exterior painting. Each time he was very friendly and said he is busy with other jobs and promised to come within a week. Never did he call me back each time I had to track him down. Still waiting for his call so I gave up on him and did the work myself!

Wayne and his crew were very prompt, courteous, and professional. Very good communication from start to finish. His crew has been with him for over 10 years and they work well together. I could not have found a better company to do the job! I highly recommend hiring Wayne Askew contracting for any job that you need done.

My 110 pound german shepherd went through the fence because he's afraid of storms and thunder and we had to contact somebody quick, as it was an emergency. He came on a Holiday and came out on his own time. It was raining and he left us all the materials to complete the fencing. He was prompt, it was bad weather, and he tried to finish up in the rain.

Mr. Askew and his crew were very professional and trustworthy. He even came to my office on two different occassions to pick up the house key in order to complete the job. As a singel female, I felt comfortable with the men that Mr. Askew used on the job. The job was completed quickly and debris and trash were not left around the yard on a daily basis unlike the roofer that recenlty put on a new roof at my house. Several of my neighbors completed the work after it was complete. Additionally, I have recently had a situation where my house key got stolen. I called Mr. Askew to replace the house locks and he was at my house with the materials within an hour. He saved the day and was reasonable in what he charged me for this ER situation. He is a definite hire.

He did a great job fixing the issues that were present due to the previous contractor as well as finding some issues that the previous contractor had covered up. He and his crew put up a tile wall for the shower, and painted the remainder of the bathroom. It looks better than I could have expected. It looks fantastic and they were all very professional. They cleaned up their mess every day and were there at the allotted time every morning. While they were finishing up I asked to use their ladder to do some cleaning and branch trimming on my roof. Instead they did it for me at no extra charge. I would definitely call them again if I needed any other work done.

Work moved at a steady pace and was completed within budget. His crew kept the job clean--and would clean after each day. My wife really appreciated that.
