It was a nightmare! The wallpaper in the bathrooms was not removed, it was painted over. Walls throughout the house were not sanded. There are bumps and dimples throughout the house.

Mr. Askew and his crew arrived on time, did the required work, were pleasant and finished the work in a timely manner.

Wayne Askew contracting first helped me with kitchen remodel last summer. Kitchen was “gutted including drop downs above cabinets. New cabinets installed along with tile flooring and wood countertops. When it came time for bathroom renovation I didn’t hesitate to call these guys again. They removed old tub and created walk in shower with tile on floor and shower walls. Handicap rails installed , as well as larger entrance door, to make safe for elderly parent coming to live with us. Beautiful job!

Need a fence repaired / renewed call Wayne Askew Contracting Inc. Replaced our 6' fencing with a "Good Neighbors" fence on the west side and a privacy fence on the back side. Also two new gates. Later, had them replace our 4' picket fencing. Closing in the backyard with new fencing. Also, reinstalled two Iron gates and repainted them within the 4' fencing. Also done work on our patio and painting in our kitchen. When you need something done call Wayne.

Wayne and crew did a very good job. Repaired a hole in sheet rock ceiling [foot went thru from attic] and I can't tell where the hole was. Repainted ceiling water stains and recaulked all windows and doors due to a few leaking duing tropical storm a few months prior. All did well but one was not fixed. Called Wayne and he came back and foud a crack the missed. did not leak in last hurricane. Will definitely use again

Estimate way too high for work estimated. Took a week to get the estimate, I hired another contractor and had the work complete by the time I got an estimate from this company.

Have estimate as one of three. Chose another provider, but it was close. Very prompt, thorough and professional.

I can't say enough about their work. They did an excellent job and in a timely manner. They actually did some extras. They cleaned up and removed all the debris. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would certainly use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest and highly qualified contractor to do home repairs and painting.

.It was horrible, really bad. They told me they would come back out and never did. I wanted it to look flawless and it was not. They did what they said they would do, they just did not follow up or get back after I called them repeatedly. Price was great. I was really upset I could not get a hold of them but it wasn't really their fault. They did what they said they would do, I was just not happy with the follow up for more work.

I called Mr Askew on Saturday, he came out Sunday to quote the job and did the entire project on Monday. Not only was he fast the job site was clean when I got home. He completed the job at the quoted price without supply cost over runs. He was professional, timely and did a great job.

Wayne was great until it was time to do the job. He did a pretty good job but complained the whole time and took too long to complete the job. We supplied the material for the bathroom & did all demo and cleanup. He durocked, built a half wall,installed shower floor, tiled the bathroom, and hung kitchen cabinets and charged us $7500 in labor which was rediculous in my opinion. Made things way more stressful than they should've been.

upon contacting the company through their phone no. listed on their website (which plainly states "concrete/masonry" under the heading of services, the guy who answered the phone stated that they do not do concrete work.

Wayne took time to work with me, over the phone, to check all the breakers and, thereby, restoring power to the lighting circuits in the house. High power items were still working OK but none of the outlet-related or switched lighting in the house were working. Before calling Wayne I cycled all the interior breakers then checked the outside main breakers. I found one (125A) that served interior lighting and cycled it off and on twice before finding Wayne on Angie's List. He asked me to cycle that breaker again and VOILA! power restored! Wayne, THANK YOU for taking time out of your busy holiday activities to help us continue with ours - a welcome visit from the kids and grandkids from FL for the weekend. AAA+++

COrrected some poorly installed appliances

There were left over cans of paint which I noticed had interior paint on the labels. When I questioned this I was told it was exterior paint that was put in those cans. Six months later there are several places where the paint is peeling.
