They immediately went to work and wasted no time started and worked hard all day. The requested deck was completed in two days. The site cleaned up and Mr Askew left the area cleaner that he found it. I would recommend this contractor highly, and will call him again if I need more work done

Wayne was prompt in his response to my calls. Gave me an estimate that was reasonable and the final cost was the same. They showed up on time each day they worked, cleaned up after each day's work.

After leaving a message, I received a prompt return call from Wayne Askew who explained that he would be unable to do the work for which I was requesting a quote (replacing tub and surround). He asked for details on exactly what I wanted and referred me to another company that he thought would be a good match. Wayne seemed genuinely disappointed to have to tell me that he couldn't take the job, which shows that he truly cares about his customers (and potential customers) and the services he provides. Based on this interaction, I would certainly consider working with this contracting company in the future.

He was very nice, there wasn't anything wrong with them. It was just that the price was more than we could afford. I think he wanted $15,000 and we got it down to $6,000. We didn't have any dislike except for the price. Everything was just fine. I think he really does larger jobs so I don't know if he was all that interested based on the enormity of the quote. Sometimes folks figure they don't want to do this so it's twice as more. We got everything back. It was reasonable, it wasn't a problem. It took him a little while to get over there and look at it and then give the quote back. It was July during the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Tournament when we called him. It was on a Saturday and he actually was out in the gulf. He said he was out fishing for the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo and he won't be back until Sunday night. He said he will try to get over there on Monday but I think it was Wednesday before he got there actually. He said he has been backed up because he has been fishing.

We are currently waiting for my product to come in.

He was very nice but I never used him. I used somebody else. He seemed very knowledgeable. There wasn't anything bad. He gave me a lot of tips in what he could do for the situations that I had. He was good.

I needed a roof replaced, and after coming out twice- once by himself to discuss the work and take measurements and the second time with the subcontractor who would be laying the shingles- I never heard from him again. I would not recommend this contractor.

Wayne and his two men crew have many years of experience and can provide valuable recommendations on how to proceed with any project. His experience permitted him to locate hard-to-find replacement siding that matched mine.The crew arrived on time every day until the job was completed. They were very responsive to any requests that I had. They do professional quality paint and repair work at a reasonable price. This is not a crew that one has to constantly watch over. They are extremely conscientious. Just tell them what is wanted and trust them to do it properly. As an example, when they are painting, they triple check each other to make sure there are no missed spots or holidays. When I have paint or repair work in the future, Wayne Askew will be the first person I call.

Overall process went very well. Mr. Askew provided a next day estimate for me, completed job even quicker than we had expected, and to our satisfaction. Mr. Askew and his crew were always very professional and courteous.

Very good work and friendly installer

I've used Mr. Askew's services before, and he is always on time and does beautiful work. The plant shelf is gorgeous, and the stain matches trim that is over 30 years old in the same room, and it looks like it's original to the house. He is careful and detail-oriented. The paint is done well and professionally, and the handicap additions will be very helpful for my 87 year old mother.

It went very well. When he gave me the estimate, Mr. Askew and his crew returned less than an hour later to start the job. The result is a much neater, far sturdier fence than was previously there. I will definitely call on him again when I need something done.

I contacted Mr. Wayne Askew and asked that he give me an estimate in regards to repainting my kitchen, after I sustained roof damage following a tornado. I had previously employed someone to rehang the sheetrock and simply needed Mr. Askew to repaint the kitchen ceiling, one of the walls, rehand the crown molding and touch it up. Mr. Askew came out and gave me an estimate, at no charge, and was so far below the other contractors that I had contacted, that I was initially skeptical. Then, due to several family emergencies and one death, I had to delay the project for almost three months. However, Mr. Askew only called once and simply told me that when the time came for the repairs to be done, to simply contact him and he would see that the matter was taken care of ASAP. Well, in early April I contacted Mr. Askew, who immediately scheduled the project for April 10, 2013. He said that he would be there by 8:00 am and arrived promptly. He did a fantastic job and even put on a new toilet seat on the commode in my bathroom, which I had not asked him to do. However, he must have seen it lying in the hallway, near the bathroom and simply taken it upon himself to make those repairs as well. He was going to rehang my kitchen ceiling fan, after repainting the kitchen, but was unable to find the bolts to install it. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Askew and his company!!!

My wood privacy fence blew over on a Wednesday afternoon. 45 feet of fence had to be replaced and about 20 feet of fence had to be repaired. Wayne came out to give me an estimate at 8:30 on Thursday morning and had his crew working before lunch on Thursday. By the end of the day Thursday all of the damaged fence was taken down and new posts were set and left so that the concrete could dry overnight. The fence was completed by Friday afternoon, and all debris and trash was taken away. Wayne even left a few new boards in case I needed them in the future. He set the new posts much deeper that the old fence and used 4 cross rails to ensure this new fence was much sturdier than the last. Wayne also had his crew sweep off my roof that had a lot of live oak leaves piled up on it. I was impressed by the speed of the work and the quality of the fence.

Called and he came for estimate and fixed one problem that day. Then came back within 2 days with parts to complete the 2 small jobs I had. I was pleased.
