Description of Work: South Alabama Electric had done service for me in the past and I was very happy with their work and their price. I had a problem with my whole house generator and ask if they could help me. The owner called me back and told me that he didn't service my make of generator, but he said that he would recommend someone who could. He called me back and gave me the name, the address and the phone number of a provider that did do the work. South Alabama made no money on this and the owner certainly did not have to help me but he went above and beyond to help me get my generator serviced. I will definitely call South Alabama Electric when I have electrical repairs.

Description of Work: This is my go-to electrician.

Description of Work: Troubleshot a ground fault error on circuit that supplied 7 outlets. Identified faulty outlet and replaced. Inspected additional Light switch and made preventative repair to wiring. Fast service, very professional and responsive to needs.

Description of Work: fixed wall switch, fixed floresense lights x 2, changed bulbs in 14 ft recessed lights, rewired ceiling fan, changed main breaker switch on air conditioners which was overheating

Description of Work: Replaced my pool pump motor and Polaris pump. Mike Miller was very knowledgeable and efficient.

Description of Work: Contacted four times in a two week period about the list of things I needed done to my house in Midtown, was contacted by one employee who while explaining the situation appeared occupied and gave only "uh huh" answers even to questions I asked him. Never got a call back so to heck with them. Found someone on a dime and he and his brother did an awesome job (not listed in Angie's List) and they took care of all my issues on my house in a day.

Description of Work: They tracked down a short circuit and fixed it, installed a gfci outlet in two separate bathrooms that had no existing outlets, and replaced a corroded panel-feeding breaker. Extremely courteous, punctual, and professional. Price was exactly as quoted and much more affordable than i expected for the amount of work that was done.

Description of Work: Repaired reverse polarity in exterior receptacles, installed ground fault interrupters in kitchen, installed sub-panel cover inside houwe, added breakers for RV connection, installed 50amp RV plug/conduit, installed transfer switch for hurricane generator and cabling for generator hookup to transfer switch (time and all materials included).
