Very well, serviceman very professional and personable. He arrived on time.

Hansen Heating and Air installed our system in October of 2013. They were very professional in the installation and were just as professional with this check-up special that was provided by ANGIE'S LIST. The service technician was knowledgeable and answered our questions. He explained everything he did and told us our system was running efficiently and gave us some pointers on when to change filters and other important details to keep our system in top shape. Overall, a very good experience. Thank you ANGIE'S LIST for providing this very good deal!!!!! As Martha Stewart says "It's a good thing!!".

It turned out really good. I guess what really stood out is that they were really nice and along with doing a tuneup, they gave me a few tips and tricks to do myself for the air conditioning to extend it. I would definitely consider using them again.

I fully expected a report of major repair need. It was just a loose wire on the heating apparatus. He then inspected the entire unit and found that our thermostat was not programmed to account for emergency heat (AUX) options. He reprogrammed the unit and we now have normal heat and emergency heat where we had no heat before. When the technician arrived we showed the house at 58 degrees F. Within one hour after the technician's arrival we showed 68 degrees F.

The technician introduced himself as Philip and shook my hand when he showed up. His communication skills were excellent. Despite the embarrassment of having called a technician for something so easy to repair myself Philip was very understanding and did a few other checks to make sure that the heating system was working. Best of all, Philip decided that I should not be charged for the service. He made this decision on his own without having to check with the front office. It is good to know that Hansen trusts their technicians this much. You can bet Hansen will be the first company I call when I have a more serious problem!

Jake gave advice in helping find a solution to help in making air quality better for someone with allergies. I was called after a month with a money back guarantee if I was not pleased with the product. Not only could I tell the improvement but so could my so-in-law who has a terrible time with his allergies when at my house. I was impressed by the friendly but professional quality of service and the fact that the product offered was backed with a satisfaction guarantee.

My AC wasn't matching temp set (stayed warm). Tech arrived on time, which is a plus.. The result was coil cleaning and replacement refrigerant. I'm guessing was confused about eh new customer and coupon (thinking it would be under $100) but, tech informed the coupon discounted service. One thing, do not write a check because it took over two weeks or so to clear.

I had had the primary drip pan replaced a year ago while under a Home Warranty and evidently not done right. However after Hansen replaced the drip pan it continued to drip from the secondary pan. They came out three more times trying to find the reason at NO CHARGE! This last time I am thinking it is fixed as no drips in three days!!! These folks are the BEST!

Phillip came out on a holiday weekend and replaced a broken capacitor on our AC unit . Phillip gave us a quote that I had to repeat to make sure I heard right He was upbeat and polite and didn't seem to have any problem coming out to Daphne from Mobile on a holiday to help. He gave our 3 dogs some attention and they loved it. His professionalism and knowledge of our system was impressive and I knew then and there that I was going to stay a customer. . After dealing with an overpriced, under promising technician for a company here in Daphne (which is not even listed in Angie's List), I learned my lesson. It's Angie's List from now on and Hansen's Heating and Cooling for all our AC and Heating needs. I highly recommend them. Yes, Phillip completed the job within 20 minutes. Thank you Phillip! PS: We even tried giving him a $10.00 tip for the inconvenience of coming out knowing he hadn't had lunch yet, but he wouldn't take it, however, we insisted. Great Job Hansen's, don't change a winning process.

Fabulous service from the wonderful young lady who took my call to technician, Phillip Clemens who did a perfect job and took time to explain everything. Phillip gave recommendations for future work that could wait without any pressure for unnecessary services. I called to schedule the 21-Point Tune Up and mentioned the problem we had just started having with air conditioner not cooling. The sweet lady PROMPTLY said she would have a technician out TODAY with no service charge. Yes, my jaw dropped! Overall wonderful experience. Thanks, Angie, for helping us find an A/C service for life!!

Was not sure how long to get a repairman on a Friday evening or the charge for a service call. Service tech arrived in just over an hour who was friendly and found the problem straight away. Besides my two special filters I've always changed frequently, he found another larger filter underneath the unit that I never knew about that was clogged with dirt. This type filter is normally changed once a year and protects against other particles that enter the house or can breathe if not used properly. I found a local dealer in Creola on the web as tech did not carry this type but could order if I wanted. To save time I searched www.Filtersnow.com that sells this type of large box filter for my unit and plan to buy and replace tomorrow now that I know what to look for. Decided to let the unit run on fan a few hours to thaw a little before turning back to cool. If problem persists, will call back for technician to look further. For only a $25 service fee, I learned something new and probably saved money on my electricity bill by changing out this bigger type filter. Great work and glad I looked up this company on Angie's List. Will use them again for future repairs.

Great. Explained what he did, what he found wrong and gave excellent tips on maintenance.

They had four employees come out to do the replacement. They did this in one visit. I was impressed with their efficiency. When I called them it was an emergency at seven thirty in the morning, they answered and scheduled the estimation and sizing it up right away. They did the work exactly as I asked them to. There was a manufacture defect with the unit, when they realized this they called me immediately to fix it up.

after an unsuccessful repair attempt by another company (named Estes) who said my heat pump was not repairable and I needed a whole new system immediately, Hansen sent out a serviceman within 2 hours who fixed my current system with 30 minutes with parts he had in his van and it is working fine. he told me the electrical parts that went bad are the most common repairs and he checked out the whole system. it did not need any coolant and continues to work well I was ready to buy a whole new system but thos honest company showed me that I did not have to. this is to be commended I have had duct work done by Hansen in the past and that work was done promptly and professionally for a fair price. I would recommend this company to anyone

When I called for information about the service, I received 2 return calls immediately. Hunter arrived on time. He inspected my A/C unit outside, cleaned the coils and drains. He also checked the unit inside and recommended which type of filters to use with the A/C unit. I am very happy with Hansen Heating and Cooling! =D

Absoutley great! I live out of state from the home i was doing. Chad was a god sent to my 84 yr old mom who is at the mercy of contractors. She was told she needed 2 new units for $4800.00. Chad came out and fixed the problem without repacing unit. Needless to say we will recommend him and use him forever. He is a professional and is honest unlike other people who rip u off because u r old and a women!!! Thank u chad and angies list

Highly recommend this company based on my experience with Daryl. They are fast, efficient, professional, and cheap. The capacitor cost $90, the labor $70, and the diagnostic $25! A total of $185. I would have happily paid more based on the quality of personal service they provided and relief they gave my beautiful fiancée.
