Service call began with a problem. Office called and said Technicians said we failed to answer phone. No tech called as we were sitting by the phone waiting for their call. Company previously sent out a technician who provided estimate/proposal. When I called to begin work they could not find proposal or the name of the tech in their office files yet I had a copy of the proposal. On today, they sent three technicians out to do the work. After reviewing the job, the THREE techs said it was a lot of work and too hot in attic to begin the work and would have to reschedule. One of the techs had the proposal of the work in his email yet when the three of them got here, it was too much work and too hot in the attic to complete the work TODAY! One tech asked for my copy of the proposal. I asked why they needed my proposal since one of the techs who came out pulled the proposal up in his email. However, I gave it to one of the techs (Jake). He (Jake) said once they got back to office they would discuss work with manager and reschedule. They never called back. Very unprofessional from the office staff to technicians.

The person that scheduled the service appointment was very professional and helpful. The technician that came out was exceptionally good. We had a good conversation as he explained some things about my unit. My only problem is that I strongly believe I was overcharged for the parts ($90 each), which were a contactor and a capacitor. Home Depot sells them for $7 and $38. Unfortunately for me, I didn't pay any attention to the price for the parts until the work was finished and we never discussed how much the service would be. I assumed the overall cost would be high due to the labor, but that was only $30. I spoke to the technician about the overpricing, but he stated that he didn't have anything to do with cost for parts. I called the office and the attendant first said that I could get my money back if the technician came out and removed their parts and I could then put my own parts on the unit. I asked again to be sure of what she was saying was true and I was placed on hold and the owner conveyed through the attendant that they couldn't do anything sense I'd already agreed to the price. My advice is to ask for a detailed cost estimate prior to the work being completed if you use this company. I don't mind paying for good service, but the actual cost difference of what they charged and what the store charges was simply ridiculous. Great service. Poor pricing and customer service!

As usual, they were great. It took a little over an hour to come, but I didn't expect anything faster from an A/C repair company in the dead heat of summer. I personally have several friends calling for repair, so I know they must be very busy. The repairmen was courteous and professional. Though he had to tell me that some bigger repairs are in my future, he didn't charge me for the cleaning. When the big repairs rear their ugly heads, I'll be calling them as usual. I have never had a disappointing experience from Hansen, and I recommend them to anyone needing service.

Excellent ... Scott was prompt and professional. He readily explained what he was doing as well as his thoughts about the possible cause (Unit is old which generally results in it pulling more amps but, he politely pointed out that the main culprit was the homeowner for not changing the filter).

It went great. Daryl and Mason were the consummate professionals. They came in the early evening just hours after we called, when they could have been home with their families. Heidi in the office scheduled them back out at the time we requested and they were there on the dot. They fixed everything, avoided having to add any new refrigerant, gave us advice on new filters and where to get them, cleaned up and were on their way. Everyone was courteous and a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend them to everyone needing heating or cooling work in Mobile or Baldwin County, and will certainly use them again as needed in the future.

When I made the call to request service, the lady that answered the phone was friendly and was able to very quickly find my information. I mentioned the diagnostic coupon, and she said no problem. The service man called just prior to arrival (less than an hour from the initial request for service) and introduced himself, though I hate that I can't recall his name. The total call lasted about 15 minutes. He discovered that a small plastic bag had been sucked into the system. The best part is that he said that there would be no charge for the service. I knew I favorited them for a reason, and they have won me over as a permanent customer. I look forward to suggesting Hansen to friends and family who may ever need service.

It was good. The guy was very thorough. There was a report about the inspection. Everything else was really good. I had to send a screenshot to my husband so he could see that we bought two coupons because of the two AC units.

I purchased two 21-Point A/C Tune-up and Cleans from Angie's List on August 24, 2015 between 7-8 AM. I called the office shortly afterward to schedule my appointment. I made an appointment for Monday, August 31, 2015 at 8:00 AM. I received an email from Heidi on August 27, 2015 asking to schedule me. I should have immediately responded, but did not. I responded by email on August 30, 2015 stating I already had an appointment for the 31st. I arrived home at 7:45 am and began waiting. In the past, Hansen employees were very prompt, so I called around 8:20 am for an update. Heidi was very apologetic and said she saw my email and tried to get someone out to me, but couldn't until 9:00 am. I agreed to wait, but she called back shortly and said they couldn't make 9 and would schedule me for a time after work. We agreed on 5:00 PM but no one showed up, called, or emailed. I sent another email through Angie's List on September 1,2015 but never received a reply. I called back in on Wednesday, Sept 2 at 3:25 pm and spoke to someone other than Heidi. This person was the exact opposite. She was very rude and sharply said, "The tech called your home and cell, but you didn't answer." I calmly explained that I had been home and did not receive a call. I later rechecked both phones and did not have a missed call on either. If the tech actually did call, why would he not leave a message. In the grand scheme of things it didn't matter because I was at home. We made another appointment for Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 5:00 pm. Again, no one showed up or called. When I called at 5:20 pm, Ashley answered the phone. She placed me on hold a couple of times and came back and said they received several calls from people that didn't have air. I completely understand that, but what about the customer that paid upfront for a service and has been put off for 3 times now. I'm very surprised because I used them before and they were great. Three missed appointments with no regard of a customer's time is extremely bad.

He provided a threough inspection and cleaning of our system both inside and out.

One telephone call, and Scott was there within a couple of hours. A part had to be ordered and he was back the next day fixing the problem. Great company. Great people.

Scott, the AC tech, showed up on time and immediately went to work. He thoroughly checked the AC, inside & outside. He took the time to give me some pointers on how to keep the AC running efficiently and make it last. I was really impressed with the job he did and the time he took, especially considering this was a $40 special.

The outside fan on my ac unt was not running. I called Hansen's at 7:55 AM and the unit was fixed by 8:45 AM. Plus, because I have a lifetime warranty on my unit, the replacement of the capacitor did not cost me a cent. How much do I love Hansen's Heating and Air? To the moon and back. This is the best company I have ever worked with. My technician, Tim, was friendly and helpful. He even told me how much time I had before I needed to change my ac filter. I would recommend Hansen's to anyone needing ac or heating work. I have done so in the past and even my referrals love Hansen.

Guys were very nice, professional, and straightforward. Seemed very honest and pragmatic. Will be my go-to guys from now on for anything heating and air-related.

From the time of my initial call to the moment the service technician walked in my door was about 10 minutes. Definitely an A for punctuality, especially in the heat of summer when everyone's A/C seems to act up. He was professional and courteous, and he located the problem quickly. He fixed the issue before approving the price, but the fix was relatively minimal, and I didn't ask to be told first. With company coming, I really needed this to be fast and efficient, and the he delivered.

Amazing service! Actually called ahead and arrived a little early! Mike was extremely friendly and explained everything he was doing or about to do and why he was doing it. He found a capacitor that was going bad. Not only did he tell me about it, he showed he on the multimeter exactly what the impedance was and what it should be. Replaced it with out any extra service fee or labor cost. I HIGHLY recommend Hansen!

My 11 year old unit had developed a serious leak in the evaporator coil. I have a service contract with another company and they came out on Friday, 6/19, filled it with freon and it leaked out by Saturday! That company was booked up and was unable to install a new unit until Friday, 6/26. (This was an upstairs unit, and the unit downstairs was working, but I was unable to use the upstairs bedrooms until this was resolved.) I called Hansen on Monday, 6/22 about 11 am. They came to my house about 2 pm and confirmed I was low on freon/needed a replacement unit. I asked when they could get to it. They said Tuesday afternoon! And the cost was less than the other quote I received. The crew came in today, and was very courteous and efficient! Unit was installed quickly and my 93 degree upstairs floor is now at it's 75 degree setting. They were very careful, spreading drop clothes upstairs to the attic. They vacuumed the stairs and pathway on their way out. Awesome service!!!

He was good. I would use them again in the future.

The guy was super nice and professional. Found that a switch may fail in near future and replaced it for mere $130 or so.

Compressor wouldn't turn on, called Hansen around 2:30PM and they completed the job same day by 6:30PM. Checked unit and determined contactor needed to be replaced. Had part in truck and completed the job. Great service!

I was not looking forward to replacing the system. After a few years of tuneups to get through the summer, I went ahead with a replacement. The cost, timing, quality, and responsiveness were incredible and made it easier than expected. I used Angie's List after getting different opinions from different service providers each of the past 3 years. Definitely worth the call and the new unit is much quieter, cooler, and will likely cut the utility bill.

Grade A service. The technician was actually early which put me on a good schedule. He performed the required checks and made the necessary suggestions. He told me of my DIY fixes and how it could save me money in the future. Very helpful.

Very responsive. Very Prompt. Very Professional. Found the problem to be a wiring issue I could fix myself. No charge. Couldn't believe it. Will definitely use Hansen's again and will be glad to recommend to anyone.

The technician came in did the job quickly and efficiently. He explained what he was doing as he did it and he recommended the best way to avoid having the coils become clogged again.

It wasn't what I expected. Someone came and cleaned up the area around the unit. It was okay. I didn't understand what I was buying.
