Left a message over the weekend. Angie returned my call Monday morning at 0830 and we set up an appointment time window for Tuesday afternoon. She offered to call one hour in advance so that I could still work as long as possible before leaving to meet her, which was very useful. She called as requested and she and her Mom arrived promptly. They diagnosed the initial problem and then asked a couple of questions about the details of what happened, which allowed them to more accurately assess the problem and make sure all the components were fixed. Before leaving they also checked the entire stove and oven to make sure there were no other issues that we had overlooked.

I called on Wednesday. Appointment was set up for Friday between 8 am and 1 pm. A delightful repairwoman and man came out. They called before coming. I am so sorry I did not get their names but I think the woman was Angie. Both were like family as soon as they came in the door. I left them to it and they discovered the issue immediately--leaky gasket. Both pointed out the evidence of wet dust and a water line on the inside of the frame where the spinning tub threw water. I wanted their opinion for possibility of repair so I could decide if burial or repair was the best course. Alas, burial was the best option. I had no complaints with the cost of repair just that it was an old machine and didn't think it would be worth it. The cost for the service call was most reasonable. Nowadays you expect to pay almost a hundred for people to just talk to you. This amount was lower. Angie even gave her opinion on a replacement washer brand and the history of this brand and why it would be a good one after I asked her. No, they do not sell appliances, I asked. I have one of their magnets on my refrigerator now and will not hesitate to call for any appliance.

We have used Angie at Big Bill's Appliance Repair for almost ten years and would not consider anyone else. They have always provided the very highest degree of service to us. More than that, they have also advise when it was time to actually just bite the bullet and buy a new appliance. We appreciate that more than anything else and will alway continue to use Big Bill's.

She immediately came out when I initially made the call. But, she had to order the part. So she said it would take X amount of days, which was fine. That's understandable. But when she came back out to do it, my washer sounds like there's a 747 in my house whenever I wash. I have to turn the television up extremely loud if I am washing. This morning the washer even woke up my daughter.

I contacted them, and the technician responded the next day. She turned the oven on and diagnosed the problem as a megatron board (without even removing oven from cabinet). The technician expressed that she didn't like GE products and they should have stuck with making medical equipment. The technician promised to get a price quote for the replacement part and call me that afternoon or next morning. I did not hear from the technician during this time period, so I called her back 2 days later. She explained she had been sick, but was glad I called. She promised to get a price quote from GE and call me back immediately. I still haven't heard from her. I spent 5 minutes on the internet and found a price quote directly through the GE website. I will search for someone more reliable.

My refrigerator wasn’t draining correctly which was a common problem for the brand of refrigerator I have. The woman was very quick and very knowledgeable. The problem isn’t fixed but it is a little better. It is not totally fixed and I haven’t called them back. After all this time I think that they would charge again and I have only so much money. She was very good.

Great service. Couldn't be happier. Gave us free advice on our refrigerator-freezer ice maker.

I have used this business several times over the years. They are always prompt and more than fair with pricing. Years ago I had them come to my house and the lady was nice enough to tell me my dishwasher was going to cost as much to fix as to get a new one. She saved me money that time and several times since. I have had them work on my washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. I would never consider calling anyone else.

I called and they said they could be out that day and indeed they were, it was a Friday morning and they showed up before noon. She checked out my washing machine and replaced a part and also went the extra mile and repaired damage I had done by bending the frame tyring to fix it myself. Fast, very effective and very pleasant to deal with!

I was very impressed with the prompt service. It is a family owned business and the daughter definitely knows her job. She was pleasant and professional. She showed me the problem and had the pump replaced quickly. I'm not sure how price compares to other businesses but I did appreciate the fact that she was able to get to me quickly, she arrived earlier than I expected and she had everything she needed to get the job done.

The repairwoman arrived promptly, got to work, had the parts on her truck, checked her work, cleaned up, charged fairly, was courteous and clearly knew what she was doing.

It was a lady and a daughter, they came out here properly and everything was great. They live probably 25 miles from where I live so they charged me that fee for coming out here. Everything was fine except one little fee.

Angie quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to me very clearly and went to work. She already had the spare part in her truck. She was quick and very efficient. I had a super experience with Big Bill's Appliance Service. They came in and fixed a problem that another company didn't do. They actually fixed it in about 10 minutes. I had another company tell me it was my ice maker and that I needed a new one, at $450. Bill came in and fixed the problem in ten minutes, with an ice pick. I'll definitely be using them again.

Angie was there on time. Had to order part. Part came in the next day and she came that same day. Part was replaced in a short time. I will call Big Bill's again.

Angie came out to look at my dishwasher and determined that it was a bad board. She said it may be cheaper to just buy a new dishwasher with all the current sales. I determined that it would be cheaper to fix my dishwasher so that is what we did. I also had her look at my in door ice dispenser while she was here. She knew before she took it apart what the problem was. After taking the front panel off it was exactly what she said. She showed me what to do and left the part in my mail box the next day. I installed it and it worked great.

Angie came out to fix my washing machine. She noticed that I was using cloths that had the detergent in them. She said that she knew exactly what was wrong. She removed my filter and sure enough, there were some of the laundry sheets I had been using.

We tried another load of clothes and it worked fine. She said to call back if we had any other problems within the month and there'd be no service charge. She was very honest, very good, and I like that she didn't take advantage of me. She also encouraged me to hold off for a bit on replacing the motherboard, so I wouldn't have to spend extra money. She was professional and is a wonderful person. The charge was for the original service call.

They did a great job. They got it fixed and the price was reasonable. Later we called them to fix our refrigerator and they fixed that up as well.

Excellent. Very responsive to my requests regarding times; punctual, knowledgable...had to order some parts and returned the next day and gave beautiful service, honored the Angie's list discount. Love finding a competent, honest female plumber!! Have already sent messages to two local Mobilians to put down Big Bill's when they need a plumber next time.
