Big Bill's Appliance Service

My experience with Big Bill’s appliance repair was beyond my expectations. I don’t know of any other way to put it other than Angie was simply amazing!!!! After a horrible experience with a different local appliance repair company that left me high and dry with a totally disassembled dryer Angie came to the rescue! Within 30 minutes of arriving she had replaced the part, in my dryer was working perfectly! I highly recommend Big Bill’s appliance repair For all of your appliance repair needs! She has a customer for life with me!

We used Angie's list to find a washer repair company and received a reply from Big Bill's Appliance. A repairman came out (Angie) charged use over $300 and we still have the same problems. I have called four time and left messages without a response . This repair service is a fraud.

Robbie did a great job of getting my problem solved. I was very happy with the results.

The repair person was on time and very polite. She showed me they problem and we decided it cost to much to repair, so I ended up getting a new washing machine.

The service call went well in spite of Covid-19. The tech was prompt, courteous. diagnosed the issue, told me how much the repair work would cost, and ordered the necessary part. She returned to our home the next day to repair the appliance. We were quite pleased with Big Bill’s and will use them again should we need an appliance repaired.

Not good he completely misdiagnosed the problem

It took two service calls to get it fixed correctly; after the last service repair the timer had stopped working. I will not call this company again and will not recommend them.

The service lady that came out was friendly, but didn’t even attempt to troubleshoot my washing machine. She said she wasn’t ‘familiar’ with the “newer” models, so she would need to call her daughter and ask her. After a breif call (that I overheard), she told me it would cost about $400 to repair it. I have since had it repaired for $96. I am extremely dissatisfied and feel very taken advantage of. How could anyone have established any sort of “professional” opinion with only looking in the manual for what the error code meant, which I had already told them on the phone. “Motor error”. Absolutely no effort was made by her (the repair lady), or her daughter that told her during their brief phone call to just tell me it would cost $400 to repair. Im very disappointed, and would not suggest them to anyone. Cathy Harris

Never responded to my request for service

It went fine. She had to make an extra trip because the wrong part was sent. I forgot to mention Angies List and didn't get my 5% discount.

Repair person (Angie) was very professional, worked quickly, and fixed the problem. We would definitely use again.

They told me it would be cheaper/better to get a new one

At first I thought it was great, but when they couldn't get the ice maker to come through the door, I would say it was fair because they were going to charge me to come back and fix it. The pricing was good. They charged me another trip charge to check it out because the ice wasn't coming through the door. I had to call them back to let them know I needed something else, and they charged me another charge. I assumed the ice was going to come out of the door. They didn't come out because they were going to charge me another trip charge, so I didn't do it. I called and let them know that the ice should've come through the door the first time.

The service person looked at the dishwasher. Asked a few questions. They left saying they didn't have any suggestions as to solving the problem I was having. But they didn't forget to ask for their fee.

Angie was on time, efficient and would not accept payment until she knew the issue was resolved.

They did a good job. They had to replaced almost every part to get it going. It is an old refrigerator. They were very professional. I thought the price was pretty good. It was an old refrigerator and did not know if anyone could fix that. I had been putting it off for years and did not know who would do it. So I looked up Angie's list to find someone to do it. I used them and thought it was a fairly good price. The quality was good. They follow up very well. I only thing I did not understand was I thought I would be able to get ice through the door after that and they said it that would be a totally different project. It makes ice but it will not come through the door. They said that that would be a different project. They charged only $68 to come out and then charge $40 for labor.

Technician did excellent analysis and gave me an honest answer about what was needed

Very logical, problem solving approach to the problem. Angie came twice and kept in touch by phone as I ran the washer through the cycles, trying to eliminate variables.

One person came out to complete the service. It took about 45 minutes for the service to be completed. The workers were great, wonderful, very nice and professional.

Very professional had to order parts so took two trips.

She checked the refrigerator and said two parts needed replacing; she came back with one of the parts and said the other part would take 2-5 days to arrive. It took two weeks to arrive and she installed it. The refrigerator still did not work, and after two weeks without a refrigerator I bought a new one and had the old one hauled away. Even though the refrigerator was not repaired I got a bill from Big Bill's for $426.00.
