Description of Work: Bought the Big Deal.Spoke to Keith , explained I had bought the $39 Plumbing Service Call Plus $125 Credit Toward Repairs. Told him I had a kitchen faucet to be installed, and that I didn't need any repairs, just the plumbing service. Set a date, took off work to be there, met the plumber who proceeded to tell me it would be $319 less $125 per the coupon. After me saying no, the coupon is for $39 which I already paid, he says the $39 is just to get him out there, then the charge is whatever the service is less $125.I told him to leave. This is a bait and switch which I thought Angie's List was supposed to help me avoid. Very disappointed in the entire misadventure. For one thing, it's obvious the charge was inflated to cover the $125 that was listed as a discount on the coupon. Whoever heard of $319 to install a kitchen faucet? For another, I'm to think he gets $39 to drive to work? I don't get paid to drive to work. So the plumber leaves and two minutes later I get a call from "Keith" who proceeds to belligerently tell me that he never sees any of the $39, Angie's List keeps that and how do I think he can make any money by coming out and installing a faucet for $39? Short answer Keith...you never intended to install a faucet for $39, you intended to scam me for $194.00. If you don't want to do a service, don't advertise it, talk to the customer about it and then get mad when the customer is not interested in paying you $194 more. At any rate, I got my $39 back from Angie's List after filing a complaint with them, but no explanation, no apology...nothing... just the money. Oh well, better that than nothing. I wasn't going to post this after thinking about it, that maybe I had just misunderstood. Then I got another "Big Deal" from Keith the Plumber...same thing, same wording. So I figured that since he and I had the tense conversation, he KNOWS his offer is being misunderstood and still runs it anyway, well then he's intending for the upsell to work once the guy is in your home. Scam. 7/2/15 So today I see your response to my review. To clarify: 1. Nowhere in the coupon does it say the $39 is for nothing except to get the plumber to the house. 2. I spoke to you personally and told you I had the coupon, and the plumbing service I wanted for the $39 was to replace a kitchen faucet. 3. There were NO additional repairs needed beyond replacing the faucet, NONE, NOT ONE. 4. After my experience with you...and your ridiculous quote of $319, the work was done by a licensed, bonded and insured plumber for $95. That's $95...total...no more, no trip charge to get him to the house, no extra repairs, nothing but the $95 to replace the faucet. A job that took him 42 minutes start to finish. 5. You reached out to me all right, but it was not to tell me you were sorry for the confusion. It was to attempt to chastise me for not being willing to be taken for a financial ride...FAIL!

Description of Work: Plumber removed and eventually replaced commode. We were unpacking the new commode and discovered it broken. He packed it back up and said he could possibly come back same day. Surely enough, I got the new commode and called Keith and left message. Keith called back and gave me an approximate time when plumber Bobby could came back. Bobby arrived, completed the job and carted off all the trash. He had carried the old commode before leaving the first time. He even tightened a faucet handle. Oh, and he gave instructions on the dual flush commode. I am very pleased with Keith the Plumber. |

Description of Work: We purchased the coupon on a Wednesday, and were contacted the same day for an appointment for 2 days later. He arrived on time. He drained the water heater and fully inspected it. It did not need any repairs. He provided us with an estimate of its remaining useful life. We are very pleased with his promptness, professionalism, and pleasant personality. We would definitely call on him again for further plumbing work.

Description of Work: I purchased a coupon on Angie's List- $99 for $200 worth of plumbing work. When the plumber gave me the invoice, he wanted to charge me $348 and take $99 off the price which is not what the coupon represented. I mentioned this to the plumber and brought me back another invoice at $448 minus $99. I am completely dissatisfied with the work performed. Description of Work: I purchased a coupon on Angie's list to have a plumbing inspection and the hot water heater drained. They followed up quickly and set up a time to come to the house. There was some confusion about the initial Saturday appointment - the coupon was good Mon-Fri but the appt was scheduled for Saturday. Keith called to explain and the ended up coming out a day early which worked better for us. Donny was the technician and he drained our gas hot water heater and added a water expansion tank. He did a full inspection of our plumbing and gave estimates for a few other issues. I was very impressed with Donny! He was very patient and answered all my questions (I ask lots of questions!). Considering what other plumbers have charged us in the past, I felt the price was fair. I will call them again for future work!

Description of Work: Did minor work on two toilets. Cost was $148 in addition to $79 already paid to Angie's List. Not sure what the $79 was for! Also, the office had scheduling confusion.

Description of Work: Dennis came out to replace a broken flange in our powder room toilet. he did a great job as always...very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. I feel like I can call him on anything related to plumbing and be in very secure hands.

Description of Work: He came and ran some clear water out of my 10 year old water heater, and said it was fine. My water is full of debris, and he did not get down to the bottom of it. He gave me a receipt with another $39 charge, hoping I would be stupid enough to pay it. I already paid $49 thru Angie's. Now I'm going to have to do it myself, properly, in the spring.

Description of Work: There was a blockage causing water to back up into my bathtub. I had to call on Christmas Eve and they had someone at my house within an hour. The problem was fixed within 30 minutes. These guys are so great to work with and I'll be using them for any future issues.

Description of Work: They did a great job. Ive called them back for another issue, unrelated, and they have also done another fantastic job (and very reasonable in price).
